A New Beginning

On July 21XX, in London, a middle aged man named Arthur Winston was in a cafe sitting across a young lady. His eyes currently seemed to be wandering off from his current conversation. He was currently in deep thought thinking "I can't believe Mom forced me to go out with this girl. I might be 35 years old right now but with the introduction of serums, our lifespans are over 200 years! I shouldn't be so eager to spend the re-" "Arthur!" screamed the young lady.

Arthur returned his gaze to the young lady "Huh? Oh sorry Letisse I was jus-". "Enough! I can't deal with you anymore! You obviously don't want to be here so Im not going to waste my breath here anymore!". Letisse quickly stood up and exited the building with ferocity.

"haah" sighed Arthur as he stood up and looked at the hologram displayed on the cafe wall.

"Now for the latest news from 'Flawless' it seems that the 'Devil of The Sea' Jack Sparrow has found yet another heaven-defying treasure isn't that right Bob?" said the female presenter. "Yes" said Bob as he quickly moved his hand towards his head to catch his wig that was slowly falling off.

"I haven't been online in less than a day and yet you've gone and done that again eh Jack" said Arthur as he closed his eyes. Arthur then headed out of the cafe.

He got into his self automated car and set in the co-ordinates of his penthouse. He closed his eyes and went to sleep thinking of what he should do when he gets back. Suddenly, a truck rammed against the side of his car sending his car flying as it flipped against the pavement before coming to a stop.

Arthur who was inside the drivers seat jolted awake at the moment of impact. "A less than 1% chance of experiencing car crashes in this day and age! How am I so unlucky?"

Year 21XX, Windsor, Winston Residence, 02:00am

A young man who appeared to be in his early 20s suddenly jolted awake in his bed. "Huff huff huff huff" he desperately gasped for air and was profusely sweating."Where am I?" he thought. He quickly took a look around the room he was currently in and thought to himself "Isn't this my room at the Winston mansion? I moved out 7 years ago? Whats going on? Didn't I just get into an accident? Shouldn't I be dead or in the hospital? WTF IS GOING ON!?!?!?!?" Yes as you probably already guessed it, this young man was our mc.

Arthur raised his hands to check if he was alright. He remembered getting his head bashed against the car so he felt his head checking for blood. "This body... it isn't mine or at least not the current me. But it seems like I've travelled back into the past like those web novels my old man showed me. But that kind of thing shouldn't be possible. Hmmmm?"

Arthur put his finger on his chin thinking about the situation. He looked at his wrist and found the old edition of the Apple Watch that he owned all those years ago. He motioned his wrist to turn it on by flicking it. He stared at the holographic screen displayed before his eyes and calmly said "Its as I expected, I've gone back ten years and six months before the release of 'Flawless' no less"

Suddenly a grin appeared on the handsome young mans face "This should be interesting" he excitedly cackled.
