1 Ch.1 Character Creation
In a dark room, a young man was sitting in a chair, facing a computer.
His eyes were lost in trance staring at the sky.
Up in the sky, a floating blue projectile can be seen.
The young man has black hair, a smooth, pale complexion, and a thin but healthy body.
This is Akihiro Kai, a normal college student, but there is a secret he isn't telling anyone.
He is a transmigrator and originally lived on a planet called Earth.
Waking up in a foreign place, Kai wasn't much that afraid but was in ecstasy as a weeb he was until he saw the floating screen in the sky.
At first, Kai was confused until he watched the news as a reporter flew closer to the floating screen using a helicopter and showcased the whole world what was written on the screen.

Not only Kai, but the entire world watching was horrified and afraid at what they saw. People started speculating and creating their theory, some people believed that it was a conspiracy done by the government which the latter strongly denied.
But Kai, as a soul from another planet, believed that the projectile in the sky, he strongly believed that something massive change would happen to this unfamiliar yet similar world.
It's been a month since then, and not only Kai but the entire world watched in fear as days passed today is the last day
Guio Guariez, the richest man in the world, worth a total of 3.3 trillion, died at an old age.
According to his lawyer, his last will was to let the world see his last creation.
All of a sudden, the GCK Corp. announces the release of an earth-shattering game called 'Black Clover'.

The information was all over the news as different channels in different parts of the world were talking about it.
Millions of people are currently on their phones, computers, or laptops right now.
It might be watching the news or checking the website forum about the game, just like Kai.

In the forum, all the information that was given was about the game's background.
After scrolling for a while, Kai found something odd.
Just like in the anime, there are four great kingdoms inhabited by humans, but there is no information about the magic knights or characters in the anime.
Nonetheless, Kai didn't think too much about it as he decided to preorder VR gear.
It's some kind of helmet that connects your mind to the VR world.
Kai still couldn't help but be perplexed by the existence of such technology.
And not just Kai, but many more people as well, as technology is advanced even in this world.
So much so that some people are starting to make their own conspiracy theories, while others simply don't believe such a thing exists.

A notification was sent to Kai's computer as he checked, and it was the helmet he ordered.
[Thank you for your purchase; your order will be delivered in a maximum of 12 hours.]
'Wow, that's fast, Kai, he thought, remembering that the game would be released in 3 days from now.
"Now all I needed was to wait," Kai mumbled to himself as he was about to close his computer, but a sudden ad popped out.
There are only three words that can be read in the ad.

Kai frowned but didn't close the computer.
'Should I click it? ' Kai asks himself as he adjusts the mouse cursor to the [Open] button.
'Fuck it, Kai thought, opening the mysterious ad.
[Ding! Player Akihiro Kai is logging in.

Shock could be seen on Kai's face as the character on his screen looked exactly like him.
It was wearing a plain white T-shirt and a white boxer.
'Could this finally be my golden finger? ' Kai asked, full of hope as excitement filled his mind.

Whether it was true or just some kind of prank, Kai decided to play along as he customized his character.
Finding out that he can't change the character's appearance, which looks identical to him, he just dresses his character in a cool fashion.

Second is the in-game name; Kai thinks about it for a while before deciding to 'copy' the name of one of his favorite anime characters.

Next Race: This confuses Kai since, according to the anime, only the human race is left in the world, but again, he doesn't think too much about it.
By clicking the spin button, a new race appeared on the screen.

As the race changed, the character also changed, as a horn could be seen in its head.
Having infinite spin, Kai continues spinning as he gets various races ranging from 1 star to 4.
After 40+ spins, a 5-star race finally appears.

Just like normal elves in the fantasy world, the character in the screen's ear also became long and sharp.
Looking at his stats, Kai's eyes widen, seeing that all of his stats increased by fivefold except intelligence, which increased by tenfold.

In what seems like forever, after 134 spins, Kai finally got a magic he was satisfied with.

'Done! ' Kai thought with a relieved sigh as he moved his cursor to the [Finish] button.
[Ding! Character created! ]
Immediately, the computer shuts down on its own, leaving Kai dumbfounded, facing the black screen monitor with an unexplained smirk on his face.
"Hahaha fuck yea..."
