The magic in the world of Ilahayah came from "Lifa" or life essence. Without the essence of life, magic will not exist.

1. Fluorescence Ceremony
The children of the Sahaya Empire undergo a ceremony called 'Fluorescence' once they reach the age of nine.
For nobles, they held their own celebration of the ceremony for their children. As for common birth, they will go to the Church of Light and that's where they will hold their Fluorescence Ceremony.
It is called Fluorescence because magic is like a small bud that would only blossom at a certain age and it's usually at nine.
It is tested through a clear crystal orb where it is surrounded by nine different kinds of flowers that represent the nine classes of magic one possesses.
For the process of the ceremony. One would just need to hold the crystal orb. And whichever flower that blooms, that will be their class for life. Their Magic Tiers which classify your magic level will also showcase there.

2. Classes of Magic
First, is the Divine that is represented by the Lotus flower. Divine magic pertains to light, healing, precognition, and much more magic that are related to divinity. The people who awaken this type of magic are usually becoming priests, priests, or saints.
Second, are the Manipulators that are represented by a flower called Starflower. Magics that can manipulate be it animate or inanimate objects will fall under this class.
Third, is the Conceptors that is represented by the Calendula flower. Mages under this class could create anyone to two types of things within them through their imagination.
Fourth, Whisperers, which is represented by the Freesia. These are mages that can control and sign contracts with any animals or beasts.
Fifth, Shapeshifter, represented by the flower of protea. Mages that can transform themselves into anything fall into this class.
Sixth, Enhancer. Mages that can enhance be it physical and magical attributes. Even certain objects. It is represented by the flower dahlia.
Seventh, Versatiles. These are mages that have magic that falls within two or more classes. Almost all of the founding families including the royalties fall into this category. It is represented by the flower Hollyhocks.
Eighth is the Generis. Mages that have magic can't be classified as any of the classes. Represented by the flower Carnations.
Ninth, Dark Magic. Mages that have dark magic attributes, shadow, necromancy, and many more. It is represented by the flower Lobelia.

3. Magic Tiers
In this world's history, rather the continent's history. There are fourteen tiers of magic levels.
Oth Tier. And it all starts with this level unless you are someone talented and gifted. Whatever flowers bloom, it will only open a little and a white glow will surround it. Indicating that your magic level is the 0th tier.
1st Tier. The flower will glow yellow and how petals that open it will indicate your level.
2nd Tier. The flower will glow with the color peach.
3rd Tier. The flower will glow with a pinkish color.
4th Tier. The flower will glow with orange color.
5th Tier. The flower will glow with a reddish color.
6th Tier. The flower will glow with a Lavender color.
7th Tier. The flower will glow with a violet color.
8th Tier. The flower will glow with a light blue color.
9th Tier. The flower will glow with a darkish blue.
10th Tier. The flower will glow with a greenish color.
11th Tier. Mages that fall in this stage are called legendaries. It would glow with brownish color
12th Tier. Mystic mages. But no one in history has reached this level yet. But many believe during the old world there are people who reach this level there.
13th Tier. People believed that these are the levels the gods and goddesses have.
For mages, once they have done their ceremony, there is no need for them to seek an orb or priest to check their status. They would be able to check it themselves by saying "Status". And only they could see it unless someone is in a higher level to them.

5. Innate Talent:
Innate Talent is the talent level one has naturally born with. It is set up to level 5.
Level 1: These people deem to be the commoners.
Level 2: These people were averages.
Level 3: These are people deem above average.
Level 4: These people are deemed geniuses.
Level 5: These people are deemed once in a thousand years prodigies that surpass everyone.
Aside from your magic class what deems your status in society is your Innate Talent. And while you're at the same tier level the innate talents still make everything distinct to others. For example, you are at tier 1 but your innate talent is at level 1 only. You have still been deemed a commoner. While the other one has tier 1 but has level 3 innate talent. They are already deems as above average. But not everyone is born with innate talent level 3 to 5. That makes them very precious to the world.
