13 The king and Queen of Zylis city

"MOOOOOOM" Why wasn't she responding faster? Each and every time, my mouth has to say her name 50 times before she answered back. She knows I don't like waiting. So why wont she respond. I'm just going to go over there and get her attention. She needs to notice me because the food is on the counter and its impossible for me to reach. The counter is my worst nightmare in existence.

"Zeikeil, What have you been told to not scream like that in the house?" Even though he was so cute, every mother has to get after a child at some point. Its not like there going to learn on there own. It would be really bad if he became a spoiled brat who uses money for everything. Its about time to see the king and queen in this kingdom go on the stage at the school to see future students. They also view what stage the kids Nexus is at, which at 7-8 years old the normal for kids with a activated Nexus was the plain stage. It was just the matter at hand was, would they see through Zekeil's nullification bracelet? Would it be a bad thing or good thing? We will have to only wait and see.

Mom was starring at me thinking. Instead of trying to figure out what she was trying to figure out, I just looked at my nullification bracelet and took it off. The surge of mana that went through my body was hurting, My hands started to shake but before a spell my mom ran over and picked me up. She put the bracelet on and pouted at me. Apparently my "mana pool" was to large for my body and to much leaked out. and the spells that I can cast are only started level. I'm just a normal kid wanting to go to the Zylis magic academy.

The street was the same as it always is. The busy stores left and right, the people in the alleyways and walking down in the middle of the street. The beautiful stone houses behind the stores and the middle of everything was the grand fountain. There were many kids my age walking towards the school to see the king and queen and possibly get there Nexus measured. Of course everyone has some small form of magic but if your magic aptitude is high enough you can be a knight, mage, or a augmenter. Of course most of this was only possible if you had a lot of money but mom and dad seemed to have a lot.

"Is this the stage room mom?" The stage room looked bigger than the actual school in a way. There was the countless red seats going almost 2-3 floors high and half circling the actual stage. On the stage there was a golden outline of it and 2 big thrones. Behind the stage was a massive red curtain that seemed to be reinforced with magic.

"What does it look like? Its massive isn't it Zekeil?" This was his first time seeing something this massive. Me and Azeil have been talking about this and we also wonder what his nexus is at already. With his huge amount of mana might break the mana crystal they use to measure the student. We bought the best nullification bracelet we could and hoped that it would hide his mana. We did talk about what attribute he is also last night. We have only seem him use basic water ability's. With his mana we would not be surprised if he was a dual Elementalist though. Only time would tell and its highly doubtful because dual Elementalist are 1in 10000 and let alone there are only 2 quad Elementalist that exist.

"Look its the Queen and King!!!" Someone random in the crowd of people.

The King with his spike black hair and red robe with blue plants truly made him look noble. He was the youngest person to become king at the age of 28. He looked very serious and was moving slowly to his seat, He was a very tall guy for his age. The grand sword on his back made it clear to everyone that he was a knight. Then the Queen and there daughter came on stage. The queen with her beautiful long brown hair and the milky white dress she was wearing made it look like everyone was looking at a goddess. The Bronze wand on her waist was spewing out mana around it while sucking it in at the same time. Then there was the princess my age. She looked almost identical to her mom but the dirty blonde hair and the red dress like her dad.

I looked at Zekeil and noticed the king was looking straight at him. I wonder what makes the King look at my son with such interest?

Authors note - if any of you haven't noticed this is not modern times. Think of clover kingdom from black clover. or sao's first floor shopping district. He is 7 years old now and Im considering going through the years fast till he turns 13 and is at school. We will see I am working on fighting and small arks for between his ages 7-13.
