9 Home alone pt.2

All that was happening was just me throwing balls of fire at the water and making streams of water. The only thing about me practicing like this was me always thinking about what the guys said to me back in the guild hall. My mind kept on echoing back to me his bloody image. The orb he gave me was still undiscovered. The words he said was confusing me the most. "Take care of the stars for me kid, remember how beautiful they are and bow precious everyone is." It was bothering me so much. It was just being used as encouragement for me to keep on practicing more and more until one day I get strong enough to learn myself.

Today was a specific day that was chosen to simply go out for a walk in the town. There was multiple stuff that was about to witness greatness. The only thing that was really going to happen today though in reality was going out to check out the schools fighting arena and watch a fight between upperclassmen. They were the best to watch as they were all mostly plain Nexus. It was extremely hard for a human to get past the "unpure" stage of the Nexus. That's why only the upperclassman, after learning and practicing for years were only able to make it to the "plain" stage on the Nexus. Each one was a very long and hard process to get to.

The school fights were about to start when I finally took a seat for myself and sat down. The first guy was clearly a fire mage. You could tell just from the flow of his mana and the flame is his tuff brown hair. He was pretty beefy compared to the water element he was paired with to fight. The first guy took a step forward and let out a grin as he was throwing out fire with his fist. Back and forth red with some really hot blue spots of pure flame was going everywhere in the arena. This wasn't working very well because the water mage was holding up a liquefied shield of pure water that isn't budging. It was time for the counter attack of the water element. He started to form a quick spell the lead to a tiny oval were he pulled a sword made out of water out. It was moving and did not look very sharp but it was enough to dance around the fire mage and slash his back wide open. This was probably because high level plain mages can create a pure substance of water that was not formed normally on this continent, If one imbued mana inside of it.

"AHAHHAHAHAHAH nice one freak but that won't stop me from kicking the fat forehead down to your stomach!"

It seemed obvious that this battle was between a bully and and victim of him. The fire guy just kept on hitting the water shield until he just eventually ran out of mana. He used the remaining of his mana to keep the sword pulled out and got a couple of slashes on him before that disappeared eventually. It was clear who won this boring fight of time. The fire element did walk out limping on his leg. And it was clear that he was very injured. It was getting dark so it was time to head back home and practice my mana control again for the rest of the day.
