11 Dinner

I was walking away from the fight and saw the city in front of me at night time. The smoke coming out of the houses and the light from the windows of the countless cabins of the city. The trading market was dark and for the first time it has been empty. It almost felt like a ghost town so it was time to go back home after getting scared of the darkness and night time of the city. The cabins and brick small houses that was passing by me was soothing yet terrifying at the same time seeing the fire's ablaze inside the houses. It was finally time to go down the road to my house. The small house with my mom sitting next to the fire through the window,. It was obvious she was worried about me because she was sitting by the fire knitting a red shirt. It was most likely for my birthday that was happening soon. My hand pushed open the door and my mom looked at me right away and came over and hugged me. She wasn't crying but she was glad I was home and not injured.

"Why did you get home so late? Next time just tell your me or Azeil and we can take you to a training arena."

"Ok mom, Promise to the earth." Her eye's gazed into mine and at that moment my heart filled with some terror. I learned to never lie to her again and she made me promise that it really wont happen again.

The kitchen had a awesome smell to it as it came closer and closer to my nose and the smell of apple pie flooded my nose. The plates were laid out and ready to go in the small kitchen table just barley able to fit all of use. It was all we had though and we loved it as we share story's all the time to each other. Mostly my mom and dad shared me there adventure story's when they crossed the world when they were younger during supper time. My mom bragged about how she would always save dad. My dad always countered back saying she was always hiding in the back. Then they started arguing as my apple pie was being consumed in my small stomach.

"Let me tell you about that one time when we were fighting that huge wraith. Listen closely Zeikeil this is how I save d your mother. It was a cold night and we were talking around a campfire with the whole crew. The starry night and the animals making noises always calmed us down before a fight. We were talking about past experiences when all of a sudden we heard something behind us. We all got into battle stance and was ready to fight back against the hideous beast. Your mom stopped it in its tracks and knew what it was instantly cause she was a master at what she did. It came at us and our tan blocked the long scythe the wraith swung at everyone. Then the wraith was taking in fire balls and sword swings from everyone and getting damaged. The red flames coming off the fireballs and the blue enchanted swords raining down on the monster. We could tell it was getting wore out from everything from the mist starting to get smaller and smaller. Your mom then got to close and the wraith locked onto her because it noticed she was healing us as we fought. It went toward her instantly and the adrenaline kicked in and the giant scythe pierced me through the chest. That moment my life flashed before my eye's but was proud and happy that the girl I wanted to protect most survived. The scar on my chest still shows to this day and reminds me when this happened."

"Without me there you wouldn't of survived and my thought at that moment was I cant lose the man my heart fell for."

Love. Never understood why two people would ever touch there lips together. Thought that was really gross and weird but my dad kept on saying that soon enough it would come to my little head and understand it someday. So i'm waiting for that day to come now. Everyone was done eating and it was time for me to go strip down to my underwear and sleep through the night.

I woke up to pitch blackness and a small black shadow standing next to my bed...
