Void's Tale

Chapter 1

Hello everyone it's your favorite goddess Void here! You might be wondering why does the goddess of void look like a 6 foot tall muscular goth girl. My looks are partly decided by human faith/belief.

Before humans existed I had a more ghost like body and was just minding my own business, until apes evolved into humans and started to call us concepts gods. At first I was believed to be a gigantic phoenix and I was cool with that. I did not resist the change and I got a body woo hoo, but over time the depictions got more human like meaning I had to change.

Turning into a humanoid was not so bad as I could grab stuff and use tools if I ever wanted too and then I became a royal goth looking fallen angel and I tell you I rocked that look. Unfortunately thousands of years later humans invented anime and with that came a new look.

They started to waifu us gods and I have to admit while the change was annoying, the looks on the other gods faces was hilarious. Gaia went from a tall mature green haired motherly figure to a kid with green and blue hair with a picture of herself on her shirt.

Needless to say Gaia was pissed after that and decided to punish humans, which then led to what humans call Covid. Now you might be thinking what a long rant for something I don't care about, but well you now why I am a cute goth girl.

Now onto the fun part of my existence, because I represent void I can pretty much do whatever I want. You might be thinking wait how? Doen't represent Void the absence of stuff how can you do everything? well it's fairly simple where does everything come from, that's right the void.

So technically I am the origin of everything else meaning I am also the origin of the other gods leading me to be able to use their authorities. It also helps me get away with my pranks as they are smart enough to not retaliate.

They learned after one stupid god kept proposing to me, at first it was cute but over time it got annoying and he got more forceful in his approach. Between his arrogance and power he eventually got ahead of himself and tried to push me down after I rejected him and oh boy did I torture his soul.

You could hear his screams for a couple million years, while it was a pain to replace and remake his concept, it was better than dealing with that brat. So yeah the gods learned their lesson.

Now I am just casually floating in my little home/throne room, I had a brilliant idea that would curb my boredom. Recently people have been obsessed about going to new worlds and being op compared to their usually weak and pathetic selves. I would fulfill their wishes and I would twist them until fall into despair.

But why make them suffer Void you might be asking, first of all I am not screwing everyone over just the ones that deserve it. I checked the website where people post their novels and fanfics and saw that the most popular stuff was the usual harem seeking trash. Yes that's right I would twist the wishes of the protagonists that act like that. For the others it would be either a minor change or none at all.

Putting my plan into place I sat down on my throne and chose a random soul that was not claimed by any of the pantheons that inhabited the world. Not even a second later a disorientated man around his 20's appeared about 15 feat away from me. After he regained his bearing I mentally rolled a dice to see how many wishes he gets. It landed on 1 meaning he would not be able to choose the world and instead would be doing a roulette wheel for fun.

Staring right at him I asked "Human you have been granted the chance to reincarnate, you have 1 wish think wisely."

Reading his mind I could see what he wanted so i could twist it accordingly.

'Wait wishes does this mean all of those stories were true! I mean I get my wish granted! Aghh what do I want? There are so many options'

Seeing that this would take awhile I summon a roulette wheel in front of him "This wheel will decide what world you would be going too, If it is a world that was described in your home world such as harry potter it will be listed as such, if not it will have a basic description like standard fantasy world."

Spinning the wheel the man was very tense, seeing his reaction I decided to interfere with the wheel in order to mess wit him more. The wheel stoped on pokemon as I thought that this would be a good trial run. Sighing in relief, the man thought a bit more before deciding his wish. Looking up at me he said "I would like to have a capture system that would help me capture pokemon as well as peoples hearts."

Looking at him for a few seconds just to make him nervous, I snapped my fangers and stated "Granted, you shall have what you call a system in order to help you capture pokemon and people. Have fun in your new life"

As the man smiled at my words I paused his time before twisting his wish. He never said how he wanted his system to work, changing it so that it make him capture his targets by being submissive meaning he would never be in charge making his power fantasy never come true. For the people part because he is typical horny fan fic mc I simpally changed it so he would be reborn as a girl and his system would help him capture only male targets. After I was done, I sent the man out on his journey.

AN: new fanfic because I am bored and I don't feel motivated to continue my other one, I will probably update it eventually. Don't expect much from this. Updates irregular. Also this is inspired from think before you wish if you have not read it yet I highly recommend that you do.
