7 The Full Moon Club

Before they knew it, their time together was over and Darren was packing his bag to leave. Kiara walked him out to the car to see him off. Darren pulled her into a gentle hug, "I won't be back for a week," she looked up at him sadly with her ears drooped. He ruffled her hair playfully, "I will give you a call when I'm back home." He threw his bag into the car, pausing before getting in, "Oh, don't be too surprised if some of my friends stop by during the week, they come and go to make the house look occupied while I'm gone." She was surprised to hear she might see his friends, but it made sense to keep anyone from thinking the house was empty for breaking in. She nodded in response, then watched sadly as he drove away.

She walked inside, sighing sadly as she looked around the living room. "It's so empty in here without him," she said to herself as she headed upstairs. She pulled out her phone and sent a message to her friend Lupe, asking what she was up to, then began gathering her things into her suitcase. The phone dinged as a message popped up, 'Going to the Full Moon Club tonight, you want to come?' Kiara looked around the room then back at her phone, 'Yeah, what time?'

---

Kiara stood outside the door to the Full Moon Club, she could both hear and feel the thump, thump, thump of the music inside. She had put on the sexy shirt and skirt Darren had gotten her, a light jacket over top. She took a deep breath before pulling open the door, wondering what tonight would bring.

The entrance to the club led her down a dark hallway before opening up on a balcony overlooking the room below. The stairs that led down were on the left, or a few seating areas were on the right. She walked to the edge of the balcony, looking down at the large room below, she had never been here before.

The center of the room was a dance floor made up of large lit up squares, most of the squares stayed a deep blue color, while several lit up in a rainbow of colors, each fading out before changing to a different color. On either side of the dance floor were two stripper poles with a black leather semicircle couch wrapping around each small stage. The space at the far end of the room was setup with a DJ stage, two large screens hung high on the wall on either side, colorful patterns on the screens changed to the beat of the music. Blue neon lights outlined the black walls and seating areas, making it easy to see where everything was, while rotating lights hung from the ceiling around the room lit up the dark space and the crowd below.

Lupe saw Kiara on the balcony and hurried over to her from a nearby table where she had been waiting, "I'm so glad you came out tonight!" Lupe shouted in her ear over the music while grabbing her hand, hurrying her downstairs to the dance floor.

Now that they were downstairs Kiara could see there was more to the club underneath the balcony, there were various couches and seating areas and a large black bar, lined with more of the blue lighting. The room was crowded, most seats were occupied, and there was a crowd around the bar. The dance floor was crowded, but there was enough space for Lupe to find a spot for them to dance together.

Lupe danced to the beat of the music, showing off some skills, while Kiara was a little unsure of herself, and tried to keep up. After a while though, she realized it wasn't that hard and began to relax and enjoy herself. Guys who had come without female companions took notice of the two cute girls, some of them moving closer to dance nearby, and joining in whenever they got the chance.

--

Lupe and Kiara hung out at the club each night that week when they didn't have work, Kiara becoming more confident, and learned to dance better from watching Lupe, while also looking up videos on her phone during the day.

One night while they were out on the dance floor there were a couple of handsome guys leaning against the wall nearby watching them, then they had moved closer and were dancing next to them. Lupe noticed the guys checking them out and leaned close to Kiara's ear to be heard over the noise, "Looks like these guys want to dance with us!" She smirked as she motioned at them so only Kiara would see. Kiara glanced around quickly so as not to be noticed, grinning back at Lupe before speaking in her ear, "Are you going to dance with them?" Lupe winked at her before responding, "let's see if they follow us after we get a drink from the bar."

They got their drinks then headed upstairs, finding a small table next to the railing where they could look down and see the dance floor. It was still loud, but they could hold a decent conversation up here. Lupe asked Kiara about what it was like with Darren, while glancing down every once in a while to see if they would be followed.

A naughty smirk crept across Lupe's face after a few minutes, "Don't look now, but two of the hot guys who were dancing near us are on their way up here." Kiara took a sip of her drink, glancing over to see a leopard and a tiger making their way upstairs, a fresh drink in each of their hands as they were talking to each other, but kept glancing over at the girls' table. Once the guys got over near the table they stopped and leaned on the railing, talking to each other, playing it cool like they hadn't come up there specifically to follow anyone.

The tiger was very tall around 6'2", and stocky like he played sports. He had a rounder face with tanned skin, and short, brown hair. He had the typical orange tiger ears, with a long tiger tail, tipped in white. He wore a white t-shirt with blue jeans, a large watch on his wrist.

The leopard was a little shorter than the tiger at around 5'10", he was a slimmer build but still looked like he was pretty active. He had sandy colored hair topped with leopard ears, and a long leopard tail. He was dressed in a grey button down shirt with tan khaki pants, like he had come over to the club from work.

The girls pretended like they didn't notice the guys while continuing their conversation. After several minutes of this, Lupe leaned in close, "Hey, I'm going to giggle like you told me something funny, then you start giggling. I bet we can get them to look over." She smirked as she leaned back then started giggling, to which Kiara chimed in. The guys both looked over at them this time, and this time the girls really started giggling when they saw the guys looking at them.

The tiger raised his eyebrow wondering what silly girl game they were playing with them when he noticed the girls looking at them and giggling. He walked over to their table and leaned down to be just above eye level with them, "What are you two up to?" They both started giggling and looking at each other again. "I see.. so you are making fun of me then." He pretended to be upset, a sad look creeping across his face like he had just been insulted. The leopard came over, "Hey, what's going on here? Why do you look upset TJ?" The girls looked at each other, the smiles on their faces fell away as they were afraid they had somehow caused hurt feeling, this is not what they were expecting.

Kiara spoke up first, "W-we weren't making fun of you! Please don't look so upset!" Lupe chimed in, "That's right! We were just seeing if we could get you to look over if we started giggling!" The tiger's distraught expression immediately turned smug, "Oh ho! So now you're telling me you were trying to get our attention? Why, are we so handsome you just couldn't help yourselves?" He stood up, putting his fists on his hips as he struck what the thought was a handsome pose. The girls silently glanced at each other with a look like 'what's up with this guy?'

The leopard friend rolled his eyes as he pushed his friend out of the way to speak, "Don't mind him, he's a bit full of himself." He paused, "By the way, that's TJ, and my name's Luke. Is it alright if I sit with you?" He motioned at the seat next to Kiara. She nodded and slid over in the booth to let him sit down. Lupe did the same on her side, "I guess you can sit down too.." she teased at the tiger before turning her attention back to Luke and introducing them.

The tiger slid quietly into the seat, a smug look on his face at having gotten the girls to let him sit with them. Luke sighed inwardly at his friend, 'you are way too full of yourself. If it wasn't for me, we wouldn't be sitting here right now.'

The group chatted for a while, discovering that they all had been frequenting this club lately, but until tonight had kept missing each other. Kiara had to head home to get some sleep for classes the next day, so they decided to meet up again tomorrow.
