9 The University of Medina I

The University of Medina was located within the outer boundaries of Downtown Linos.

The university has multiple branches, spanning across the greater city area, but the main campus was a massive complex located close to Parliament Hill; large buildings of both romanesque-gothic inspiration and the more sleek, modern buildings with clean lines, surrounded by expansive grassy fields, gardens, and lakes surrounded by massive weeping willows, and winding cobblestone pathways.

Yuliang took in the sight of all the greenery with a sigh of relief.

Like much of Linos, the area's Energy flow was disturbed and felt very artificial, but it was far better than the parts of the concrete jungle he had experienced so far.

"You alright, brother?"

Yuliang opened his eyes, which had slid shut without his awareness, and offered his brother a grimace, "Yeah, I'm fine. You figure out how to get to the office?"

The concern in his brother's eyes didn't fade despite his assurance, but Yukio was tactful enough not to push him on it.

"Yeah, we did. A couple of pretty sisters told us that it's the black building over there."

Zander looked at Yukio curiously, "Sisters?"

"Um," Yukio blinked at him in confusion and turned to Yuliang, who just offered him a shrug. "Yeah? Is that not a respectful way to refer to people here?"

Yukio was a person that frequented the Social and kept up with all the trends. Still, it seemed that due to most of his Circles being composed of people from their region, he had not had a chance to branch out to understanding Medinian social etiquette.

Zander mulled over the new piece of information with a serious look on his face, "I see. Sorry, I'm a second-generation Medinan, so I'm really out of touch with Sundanese practices. Though I am interested in learning more about them."

Yukio moved closer to the man with a slight sway to his hips, "Oh, we can't have that. You should never forget about your roots. Let me offer my… services to you then. I can easily get you in touch with our roots later in our rooms, brother Zander. We can practice as many times as you think is necessary," Yukio purred, wrapping his arms around the man's neck with a coy smile.

His bold actions flustered the redhead to incoherence. Zander's hands fluttered in the vicinity of the omega's waist for a second before finally placing a firm grip on them and bringing Yukio closer. "Yes," said Zander, his voice lowering an octave. "That would be lovely, Yukio."

Yuliang, who had been forgotten, bit back some choice words, raised his eyes heavenward, and prayed to the moon goddess for patience.
