22 Second Year Menaces II

Yuliang was in the middle of writing up his report for his practical lesson with the first years when the door to the Healing Bay was slammed open.

"Healer Davos! We need you!"

Yuliang was on his feet in a flash, sprinting after the panicked and blood-covered student to the combat ring.

"Out of the fucking way!" Yuliang snapped, pushing past the throng of people who had gathered and blocked him from his patient.

One of them turned to Yuliang with a murderous look in his eyes, looking ready to snap, but seeing Yuliang's robes, the Enforcing student turned around and barked at everyone to move, clearing the way for Yuliang to enter. Yuliang acknowledged the man's efforts with a nod before continuing on his way.

Yuliang fell to his knees beside his patient and tsked. How the fuck did this person manage to destroy his arm this way?

Yuliang pushed away the hands staunching the blood flow to replace them with his own glowing green ones, immediately working to Heal the stump. Then, once the immediate danger to the man's life had passed, Yuliang effortlessly pulled the unconscious body up into a fireman's carry and carried it back to the Healing Bay under the incredulous eyes of the Enforcing students.
