"The fuck you mean you ran away from home?" Yuliang demanded eyeing the blond teen incredulously.

Elys huffed, putting his fork down and crossing his arms over his chest, "What else could I possibly have done? They were going to try replacing your claim! "

Yuliang growled, eyes flashing gold briefly. "Fuck that. Stay here as long as you like then."

Elys grinned.

Yukio sighs, "Brother, no. You can't just kidnap a child-"

"I'm not a child!"

"-because their parents didn't consent to your claim. Elys, we had an agreement. You promised to go back after Yuliang woke up."

Elys glared at his teacher's inferior copy. It had come as a shock when he found that the person he considered unique in every way had an identical twin, but interacting with Yuliang's brother only further allowed him to understand exactly how one of a kind and amazing the existence of Yuliang Davos truly was.

Yukio might have better conduct and manners than his brother did, but Elys had spent too long among Society not to see through Yukio Davos' thin mask of politeness to the hypocritical and cowardly individual that tried to hide beneath it.

Elys didn't like the omega one bit, but Yukio was Yuliang's brother and it was obvious his teacher cared for him. So Elys forced himself to tolerate the other omega.

"Fine, I'll go back, but I refuse to let them reclaim me!"

Yuliang's face in response to his words could only be described as smug approval.

Elys had a hard time maintaining his serious expression, filled to the brim with the urge to express the happiness Yuliang's acceptance made him feel. Oh, what wouldn't he do for this omega's approval and care.

"Relax, brother," Yuliang drawled, jabbing a fork full of spaghetti in his brother's direction.

It was a show of atrocious etiquette, and if Elys had done anything like it back home, he would have received such awful lecturing for it, but coming from Yuliang the act looked like something to be admired instead of criticised.

Yuliang's next words snapped him back to reality. "I'll drop him off tonight. See his folks and make sure everything's clear between us."

Elys felt lightheaded from how fast the blood rushed to his face.

Had he heard right?

Had Yuliang just said what he thought he said?

Yuliang was going to meet his parents?
