Feeling a bit more human after his shower, Yuliang was ready to catch up on everything he had missed out on in the time he was unconscious. "Ok, so I get that I needed people to take care of me, but what are you doing here, Elys?"

Eric and Elys exchanged glances.

"You were the one that asked Elys to stay, Yuliang."

Well, that was unexpected. His first memory of being lucid had been the previous night and he was pretty clear on the fact that Elys was already with him at that point, so maybe he had woken up before that and said that, but he had no recollection of it.

"I see... Sorry for the trouble then, Elys. How long have you guys been here?"

"It's no trouble at all, Yuliang, I'm honoured that you consider me Pack!" Elys declared, passionately, not at all aware of how much those words alarmed Yuliang.

Eric met his wide eyes and offered Yuliang a reassuring smile, placing a steady hand on Elys' shoulder to settle him. "Woah there Elys, Yuliang just woke up. You're going to put him right back to sleep from shock if you're not careful," Eric said brightly.

Elys slapped over his mouth, blue eyes wide and contrite, "Oh, I'm sorry. Yukio was so clear about not saying anything until he came over to explain everything first too. I'm so sorry, Eric, I completely forgot."

"It's alright. He'll be here soon either way, so no harm."

Yuliang levelled his student and colleague with a long stare.

"What the fuck are you guys talking about."
