Chapter Twenty Five

“It appears that the young master is in a very sour state of mind this morning.” Arthur walked into the hut with his hand behind his neck.

“Arthur!” Chi exclaimed and rushed over to him. “Are you well? What happened to you?”

“I am not sure what is bothering him. I had to cut our training session short because he is too aggressive. He is furious, although he denies it.”

“What on Elvanor causes him to harm you in this way?”

“It is just a small scratch. I am not wounded.” Arthur smiled at her. Chi shook her head and pulled the back of his robe down, revealing a large purple burn mark.

“You have been scorned!” She scolded him. “Come let me assist you.”

“He burned you?” I gasped and eyed the mark closely. “What the heck is he doing out there?”

“He is training. I am not so sure why he is serious.” Arthur complained. “I do not know what has put him in such a mood.”
