Chap 5: So Soft

'Could he be talking about Molly?'-Haley thought as she saw that Jake's Gps was at her Bakery.

'Pervert'- Was the only thing Cindy thought as she heard Jake's thought.

'Is this really my brother?'- A college girl thought in surprise.

'Am I going crazy? Whose voice is this?- A red-haired beauty thought as she rubbed her head. Since she woke up this morning, she could hear a couple of strange voices in her head from time to time.

"Rebbeca, everyones waiting for you." A voice nervously said, suddenly interrupting the redhead's thoughts.

"I'll be there in a minute." Rebecca said as she got her emotions under control.

The last couple of months had been hard ever since she found out why she had been getting fewer and fewer resources from the company.

After being in the entertainment industry for so long there would only be three reasons why an artist would start getting fewer resources.

The most common would be that the artist was getting less popular so the company would gradually start giving them less resources.

Or another star had gotten some traffic and was now on a wave due to a certain show or action they did.

And the worst one, would be that some rich guy, whether in the company or outside the company, wanted to sleep with a specific artist so they would gradually take away that artist's resources making them gradually disappear from the public eye unless they finally got what they wanted.

This happened to most female artists that did not have a powerful backer.

And now it was happening to her, a star on her rise.

Taking out her phone Rebecca saw a name she had been avoiding since she became a star.

"It's better for him than some random nobody." Rebecca said in a hesitant tone as she sent the text.

"Alright, Molly I'll visit you soon, tell Kaley I said hi." Jake said leaving the small bakery shop.

[Alright, that's 3/5 heroines so far, all that's left is Rebbca and Paige, Paige can be left alone for now as she won't come back home till the apocalypse starts. As for Rebecca, she should be contacting me soon about her problem.]

[Everything going well so far] Jake thought as he drove to the cemetery.

"Now let's see how this ability works." Jake said as he saw some white balls floating around randomly.

As more and more balls were gathered all sorts of knowledge started coming into Jake's mind, while most of it would be somewhat useless, the process of gaining all sorts of knowledge and skills into things he's never thought of before made Jake feel ecstatic.

'This feels so good.' Jake thought as all sorts of new knowledge and skills kept appearing in his mind.

While Jake was having his mind orgasm the heroines were all shocked by the news they just heard.

"Well, that makes more sense." Haley said as she was reviewing some company plans.

Sitting back in her chair Molly looked out and into the city, digesting what she just heard.

She had already confirmed that she was some heroine in some harem book, but she didn't think it would be an apocalypse book of some sort.

Opening the notes of that building Jake wanted to make, Haley went through it again, paying attention to all the facilities and adding some things she wanted in there.

After finishing it she sent it back to the architect that was working on it with a message.

[Don't worry about the cost, use the best things no matter how expensive they are.]

After handling that Haley went through the company finances and plans and thought about what could be sold off without raising any attention.

As the queen of business, she knew one of the things that would lose their value the most would be money, and what would probably replace it for at least a short period of time in the apocalypse would be food and water.

"It can't be a normal zombie apocalypse that Jake is so worried about." Haley muttered to herself as he was researching all sorts of apocalypses.

"A normal zombie apocalypse wouldn't really be much of a problem as it would be solved within a couple of years, so there must be something else as well."

As the Stuart family, they had plenty of land both in the country and outside, and even owned some islands, if a normal zombie apocalypse started it wouldn't take much to just move to one of the islands and live there for a few years.

While Haley could calmly take in the news of the upcoming apocalypse the other heroines weren't as calm.

And the person who freaked out the most was Rebbca, After all, while all the other heroines were worried. They all had money or someone behind them that could reassure them of being able to prepare for what was to come.

Even Molly, as she knew as long as she asked, Jake would keep her and her daughter safe and even take them into his safe haven or base.

For Paige, she was still the princess of the Stuart family, no matter what she did in the future, it didn't matter that she was still the only living female Stuart member even if by name only.

Cindy didn't have to worry, as her family could easily start preparing for the apocalypse, the only thing she had to do was convince her parents.

So that left Rebecca, a person who had nothing but her looks. And since she was relatively new to the entertainment scene most of her money went into creating a certain lifestyle that would attract more fans and more job opportunities.

Sitting in her hotel given to her by the director, Rebbca sat down and tried to process what she just heard, but she was a little skeptical of the voice inside her brain.

"No, I'm just going crazy. Come on Rebecca, are you seriously listening to a stupid voice in your head?" Rebecca said as she tried to calm herself down.

What the voice just mentioned was too horrifying, if an apocalypse really was coming, then there was no reason for her to continue her career as an actress because it would all be meaningless.

Hearing her phone notification, Rebbca hurriedly opened up her messages and saw a message that finally made her breathe a sigh of relief.

"Finally, some good news." Rebecca said with a smile that would make anyone get on their knees at once.
