This event is what Mo Xie feared the most.Knowing how all wuxia novels work,the assassins have probably died due to the MC's plot armour.What Mo Xie feared is the revenge event.
This is when Ling Tian will return to the sect more powerful than the Grand Elder and will kill him and those who oppressed him in the past before,including Mo Xie!!.
He had just transmigrated to this wondrous world,he didn't want to die yet again.Transmigration isn't something common that you can pick up from the ground,dammit!!.
Mo Xie always felt frustrated with the MC's in these cliche wuxia novels with their plot armour,MC luck and harem.He sometimes fantasized what would it be like to go into these novels and destroy these MC's to the point even their plot armor couldn't save them.He always found being the antagonist of the story much more interesting than being the protagonist.
