46 Chapter 46

On the bustling streets of the Holden, the biggest town of the eastern fief, two people were moving swiftly, covering themselves in their hoods. One has huge figure, whose height even attracted the passing people. While the other was short and thin person, unlike the other, who can easily blend into the crowd.

"Do you want to go WelFord Academy?" Alice asked as they passed through the shops.

Harrison, who was looking around, turned to her and said, "Is Academy a good place to visit?"

Alice again woke early this morning, but today at least she had some work to do. She got ready with Emma's help and waited for Harrison's morning training to end. They then left the mansion early morning, when sunrise was just few minutes ago.

The town of Holden took two hours to reach. Normally, she was accompanied by the knights, but Duke Fogriever already informed that his son was enough to protect the lady. Well, it was true. The people of east have weak physique compared to others, so if a kidnapper wants to kidnap their lady, he must pass through a big mountain.

As they stumbled through the already busy streets, Alice showed Harrison around the town.

"Well, it has a beautiful garden with a fountain in the middle. It has been there since the establishment of the Kingdom, so it also has a museum covering all the important episodes of the past. And it has an amazing library, which not as big as the one in the mansion, but it is covered with glass windows, making readers enjoy the outside view" Alice described.

"Oh. I am not interested in the museum but take me to the garden and the library" Harrison said.

"Fine. Let's go" Alice said with a smile.

After looking around for half an hour, they stood in front of the gates of the huge beautiful gates. Through the gates, anyone can see the beautiful garden, a well-maintained road wide enough for two carriages to pass simultaneously and a big building standing tall following the road.

"Can we go in?" Harrison asked looking at the closed gate and the tight security around it.

"Not everyone is allowed inside. Only the students who entered the academy after qualifying the tough exam and the talented professors and the people with work permit are allowed. But being the princess of Etkinson duchy, no one can stop us."

Alice said confidently and walked forward. She showed them their emblem, the flying Pegasus, and the guards immediately opened the gates. As they walked in, Alice removed her hood that was covering her half of the face, and took the deep- breath of fresh air.

"Where do you want to go first?" Alice asked.

"Library?" Harrison said.

"Follow me, then" Alice said.

They entered the huge building, and after several turns, they climbed the steps. Their trip to library was interrupted on the first floor.

"Lady Etkinson, you are here?" a familiar voice called her.

She turned and looked at an old man walking towards. His hair and beard have already turned white due to age, with several wrinkles on his face and hands. He wore simple clothes with fine texture. There were huge round spectacles around his black eyes.

When he reached Alice, he put his right on his chest and bowed. It was the way the commoner should bow when they see a noble.

"Lady Etkinson, you are here" he said.

"Good morning, Professor Smith" Alice said, spreading her dress with her fingertips and bending slightly.

Normally there was no need for her to greet him in the formal way, but being someone who is not used to have an old man bow in front of her, she will feel uncomfortable if she does not give the sincere greeting she received.

"Lady Etkinson, the students have been waiting to meet you. It will be their pleasure if you can give you some of your time" he said.

"They are?" Alice asked.

"Yes. The idea you gave last time that even land has some force, piqued the interest of the students, and upon further research, they found it was true. They are still researching on them. And when you asked that what will happen if a wood is cut into smaller parts that it can no longer be cut then what will happen, our students are still researching on it" the old man described the situation.

"It was just some crazy imagination. Tell them not to take it seriously" Alice said.

"Lady Etkinson, sometimes big answers can be found only through imagination. I hope you understand" Professor Smith said politely.

Alice was never a science student. The only she knows was the basics she learned during her schooling. She does not have detailed knowledge about them. So she cannot help them. The only thing she can do was drop those ideas in the minds of the people.

"I will visit them. But today, I am taking the guest to the tour" Alice said pointing at the huge man standing beside her.

Professor Smith, who thought he was knight following the lady, looked at him in the confusion.

Harrison removed this hood, showing his tough scary face, and his purple hair tied in a pony. He bowed slightly, putting his hand on his chest and introduced himself.

"I am Harrison Fogriever, son of the Duke Fogreiver, heir to the northern duchy" he said.

Professor Smith, puzzled at the situation of the noble greeting him so formally first. He hurriedly bowed formally and said, "I am Smith, professor of the Research Department. Sorry for not recognizing the heir of the Dukedom and behaving rudely."

"It's fine. I don't mind" Harrison said, "people in my town won't even think about greeting me."

"Professor Smith, we would like resume our tour" Alice said politely, "don't let anyone know about my arrival. Especially your students."

"Okay, Lady Etkinson" he said.

They climbed up, leaving the old professor, towards the library on the second floor.
