Weeks before the wedding...

Tani was on her way back to the maid's quarters after tucking me to bed. A satisfied smile dominate her face, gazing up ahead as she looked happier about my upcoming betrothal. Waltzing through the hallway, Tani stopped when she caught a figure standing at the end of the hallway. 

"Good evening, Young Master." She bowed, stepping aside while Augustus marched towards her. Unlike what she expected, Augustus didn't just pass by her like usual. Instead, he stopped right in front of her. 

"You are the little maid that is taking care of my little sister, correct?" he asked, waiting for her to raise her head. "What was it again?"

Although baffled by this, Tani innocently replied. "Tani, my lord."

"Tani. Right." Augustus rocked his head lightly, gazing at her as if to study her. "Are you going to the Land of Esmond with her once she marries the Grand Duke?" 

"Yes, Young Master."
