6 Aunty you need a makeover

When Tulip reached her office, her assistant Cece greeted her.

"Good morning Ms. Tulip, your client has already arrived." Tulip nodded.

Tulip went to her office and saw two women sitting on the chair.

One was Mrs. Romani, Sol's mother and the other was his sister, Jessica Romani. She was getting married to her high school sweetheart who was also the owner of White Entertainment, one of the leading production houses. Their actors and actresses had won several awards. His name was Robert White and Tulip had worked with several actors and actresses under him.

"Is this your work ethic? Not coming on time and making your client wait." Jessica sneered.

Tulip was already getting a headache, anticipating the drama that was about to unfold. "I'm on time, Ms. Romani. As far as I know, this meeting was scheduled for 11 and it has just struck 11. How was I to know that you would arrive so early?" Tulip expressionlessly said.

Jessica's expression darkened "You bitch! Who do you think you are? If not because of mother I wouldn't-"

Mrs. Romani held her daughter's shoulder "Don't start Jessica. You already fired all the other makeup artists because they didn't reach your expectations. Tulip is ready to help, stop creating a ruckus here." Mrs Romani politely smile at Tulip.

She was the only one who treated Tulip well, which was the reason that Tulip couldn't refuse her. Jessica huffed angrily.

They discussed the look she wanted and Tulip brought out some sample looks. After the discussion they left and Tulip sighed in relief. Tulip informed her assistant that she was going to meet someone and then left.

Tulip first pick up her son as his school day was going to end.

"Mumma you came today, what about uncle?" Little Bun asked.

It was usually their driver who went to pick him up. But since his school was along the way to her meeting, Tulip had informed the driver that she would pick up her son.

"Mumma is meeting someone, your school is on the way so I thought I'd pick you up." Tulip smiled at her son.

"Who are we meeting?" Little Bun asked.

"A friend." Tulip said.

Inside the restaurant.

Tulip and Little Bun were waiting for someone. "Little bun, order whatever you want." Little Bun ordered his food. Soon a figure walked towards them.

"Sorry for being late." Lily said.

"It's fine we have only been waiting for 10 minutes." Tulip said. Lily saw a cute boy sitting beside Tulip, she figured it must be her son.

Tulip introduced them "Lily, this is my son Leo, just call him Little Bun, and Little Bun this is Lily, my friend."

"Hello Ms. Lily, I'm Leo and I'm 5 years old. It's nice to meet you." Little Bun said.

Lily was taken aback seeing a kid behave so maturely but a warmth spread in her heart. If things hadn't been so bad she would also have had a kid or have been pregnant by now. Disappointment filled her mind.

Tulip could see what was going on inside Lily's head. "So did you bring the samples?"

"Oh, yes, here. Please try it." Lily hoped they would like her food. Both Tulip and Little Bun taste her food, a burst of flavours spread inside their mouth.

"Aunty, this is very yummy." Little Bun cutely said. Tulip nodded agreeing with her son.

"I have informed my friend, he should be here soon."

They chatted for a while and after 10 minutes a man came up to their table. "Hello Francis." Tulip greeted him and told him to sit.

"Tulip, Little Bun! Long time no see, did you miss me?" Francis tried to look funny but Little Bun gave him a poker face. 'This guy is so little but so overbearing' Francis thought.

He turned his head towards Lily "You must be Lily. Hi, I'm Francis. I'm sponsoring the show. We are still left with one contestant spot, did you bring the samples?"

Lily nodded and opened the food box and held it out to Francis. He tasted her food and found that he liked the spices and ingredients that were used and the food was also cooked very well.

"Your food is excellent, Ms. Lily. Here is my card and the form for sign up, please fill this in. I will mail you the rest of the details."

Lily filled up the form and handed it over to Francis. Tulip got up to walk him to the door. "Thank you so much for taking your time, Francis." Tulip said.

Francis chuckled "No need for thanks, we are friends Tulip. You helped my sister when she was a struggling actress, though I could have helped her but she refused to use my connections. I could do at least this much for you and I like her food." Tulip smiled at Francis and bid him farewell.

Lily, Tulip and Little Bun were taking a walk.

"Well, Francis loved your food. Congratulations, Lily! Now we need to do something about your look." Tulip said analysing her from top to bottom.

"My look?" Lily gave a puzzled look.

"Yes, aunty you are pretty but that thick makeup and bright coloured dress makes you look scary. Aunty you need a makeover." Little Bun said, folding his hand behind his back and puffing his chest. Lily was flabbergasted at Little Bun's words. Tulip laughed loudly at her son.
