The pocket watch that my mother gave me on my twenty-second birthday stopped. It had only been three days since it was gifted to me. Red carnations of rubies and pink primroses of the rarest pearls entwined with the green leaves of jade were carved on its platinum surface. There was no way that it could have stopped just like that.

'Which descendant of that bastard Ares called upon me?' A voice echoed in the room. It was husky and filled with anger. The aggressiveness was shuddering. While I could not see the person, I knew that he was the Demon of time Cronos.

'I am Aria Bellhouse, Descendent of Count Ares.'

'Bellhouse? What is this stupid name?'

'County of Ares was changed to Bellhouse to quench your anger Great Demon Cronos. I am Aria Bellhouse the thirtieth in line.'

The voice paused for a moment as if thinking about something.

'Ahh…so much time has passed but I never thought that it was after thirty generations that I would be called upon once again. Just tell me what you desire.'

'I want to see your face first. Let us talk things out face to face.' I spoke. It was due to my inquisitive nature that I asked a dangerous demon to show his shape. Truth to be told talking without seeing his face was spookier. In a dark room with nothing but a lamp, the invisible voice's owner can be anywhere, even just behind me.

'Sure...but don't be afraid little girl.'

A black smoke emanated from the grimoire and a tall bulky man materialized. He had raven hair and red sclera. The iris was completely white, on looking closely I came to realize that they were watches whose needles moved every second. He was wearing a black cloak that was fur-rimmed. Other things felt indistinguishable since the black color merged with the surroundings. His hands…they were…

…. completely black and undisguisable nails and fingers they were somewhat like claws of a beast. They were long and sharp as if it would tear my flesh and darker than his hair. Scales like snakes' skin were present on his arms with golden shackles that looked loose now. His wrist bled black color fluid which was festered with scaly skin oozing pus.

The shackles…they were loosened by me

'Scared? This was done by your own ancestor.' the deathly pale man smirked.

'I am sorry.' I reflexively spoke in complete terror that I brought upon myself.

'Don't be …what do you want, I will fulfill it and then you will follow your part of the deal.' The demon said.

He was surprisingly prudent and reasonable. The anger was not shown when he was dealing with the wretched descendants.

'I want to turn back time …. six months if possible ….no…ten months.' I said stammering.

'And why is that?' He tilted his head and asked. He looked interested...

I looked away. There was no way he would believe me. And there was no way I would tell him.

'Not answering?' He asked again.

I still looked away.

'Fine.'

Suddenly extreme pressure surrounded me. He was using his aura to make me submit.

The pressure made my eyes bulge out. The ringing sound in my head and lack of air made me hyperventilate.

'Sor…y…I …tell you.' I said finally unable to hold back.

I laid flat on the course ground calming my nerves. I was sweating and salivating, completely red and dying. It felt as if someone suffocated me with extremely heavy object .

'Now tell me.' He said again. For a second his expression changed into that of a grimace. His shackled had loosened but he would still feel pain on harming the descendants of Ares.

'I think that I am in the world of a novel that I read decades ago. Everything is happening just like it had predicted. If nothing can be done then two people pose a serious threat to me. I want to turn back time so that I won't die.'

'Why don't you just kill them? Problem solved right?' he asked.

'They are the most influential people in the empire, I would be beheaded either way.'

'What if they are not influential?'

'What?'

'I can show you a way.' He smirked with a mischievous look.
