Ash mulled over it for a moment before speaking again. "President, if I may be audacious to ask, why are you helping her? She already ungratefully betrayed you, but now you are pulling strings to help her?" 

Shera looked up abruptly, her sharp eyes filled with annoyance. "Do I need to report to you what I do?" 

"No-no! I will mind my business. Pardon my intrusion, president." Ash was startled by her explosive mood. The woman had been so calm lately that she had almost forgotten how terrifying she could get when she was angry. That gaze seemed like it could hack her to death just now! 

Shera rolled her pen between her fingers when Ash left. Purple did betray her, but she was a member of La Rose Noire in the past. She had worked hard for all these years and only messed up once. Besides, she had been abducted into the organization in the first place.
