Battle(?)

"You know each other?" Shera paused to ask Leo. 

"He is your ex-boyfriend, isn't he?" Although Leo's words sounded like a question, his tone was affirmative. 

Shera was yet to speak when the man interrupted. "Don't insult our relationship. I am not Shera's ex. I am her husband." 

"Are you asking for a fight?" Leo asked threateningly. Didn't anyone ever teach this man any manners? How dare he claim another man's girlfriend as his wife? 

Santino glared back at Leo. In an instant, it was as though she was out of their sight, and all they did was stare into each other's eyes—a battle of gazes. 

"You may be her man now, but I knew her before you did." Said Santino, as though it was something to be proud of.
