15 Resolve

It was a dark night, and the weather was starting to get worse. Snow was starting to fall from the clouds. All the creatures had gone into their deep sleep. There was deep silence everywhere.

In the midst of that silence, one could hear the sword's strike. A boy who looked close to his early twenties was slaying several monsters with his sword.

The monsters looked like wolves, but their teeth were very sharp and protruding out of their faces, and their fur was blackish-yellow in color.

"Can a brother not even show his sister the sight of some firefly? Always my sister, whenever she goes out, why do you all follow my sister, why don't you leave my sister behind." 

The boy had a cloth on his face, so it was not possible to see his face. Behind the boy was a girl looking like a five-year-old girl, who was scared and standing where the horse was tied to a tree.

"Be careful, brother, you might get hurt. Diana, no longer want to see that glowing firefly. She wants to go back to the palace."

There was no cloth on that girl's face, so her face could be seen very well. 

The girl's hair was of red color, which was kept above one eye. From behind, those long hairs were wiping up to his waist. Her eyes were red with glimpses of tears.

She was wearing a white skirt to which many gems were also attached. Even though she was five years old, she was leaving such an arc as if of a princess.

The girl was urging her brother to go back. 

"No Diana, this is your brother's promise that he won't go anywhere without showing you the firefly he sees in the lake of Leviathan mountain, even if it's for a day."

The boy was still fighting with those monsters without listening to that girl's words. They were more in number, but the boy was giving a tough fight to those monsters with his sword.

The boy was killing those monsters one by one with his sword. He wanted to make his sister feel the sight created by fireflies in the night near the lake.

So he did not want to return with his sister without showing her the scene.

"My sister has not been able to go out of the palace for two years, that too because of you monster, whenever she goes out, you all keep follow her. She has expressed some desire after a long time, so that's why I want to do that. I will fulfill the wish."

The boy was doing sword fighting as if he had mastered the sword. The boy was killing all the monsters who attacked him there one by one. 

The boy looked as if he had practiced his sword a lot.

As soon as those wolf-like monsters came close to that boy, that boy's sword would split those monsters into two divisions, and those monsters would be killed.

Within a few moments, the number of monsters that were many in number was not even a single one.

All the monsters had been killed by that boy's sword, and seeing this, the boy started breathing in peace as soon as the monster count was over.

"I said you monsters can't stop me from taking my sister out of the palace today. Today she will come out without any fear and no one will be able to stop her."

The young boy started seeing the monster around. But there were no monsters to be seen around there. Seeing this, the boy's heart was relieved, and he was getting ready to return to his sister.

"Diana, I told you this monster was not your brother's-"

"Brother! Save me, brother!!" 

As the boy turned back, he heard his sister's call for help.

As soon as he turned his eyes to his sister, he found a bear-like monster three times taller than his height, whose eyes were black and whose paws were outward.

  The monster had picked up the boy's sister in his hand and placed it near his mouth.

"Badr! Brother! Save me, brother!!" 

The girl was crying for help from her brother, moving her body here and there to free herself from the grip of that monster. But she was not able to get rid of the monster.

"Diana!!!"

The boy, seeing his sister in danger, was going to attack the monster so that he could save his sister.

His sister Dianna was crying out for help, and the boy was moving forward to kill the monster as fast as possible.

'Where did this Meblier Monster come from? So here, so much magic power should not be there in concentration so how can it come here. Would it have already been kept here without anyone knowing?' 

Magic power is present in every part of this world. There is a trace of magic power in every corner of this world. Somewhere the concentration of magic power is high and sometimes a little less.

If an animal is more in such a place where the concentration of magic power is high, then many changes start taking place in its body and strength. And finally, that animal is called a monster.

Due to not allowing these monsters to grow, where the concentration of magic power is high, then no animal is allowed to go there; no one can go there except for the nobility because they can use magic.

The higher the concentration of magic power in that place, the more dangerous the monster will become if he goes somewhere close.

In the lake that leads to Leviathan Mountain, the concentration of magic power is not enough to become such a big monster, so it was a surprise that someone such a big monster would come there.

"Brother, save me, Diana is scared. Diana will be killed. Brother, save brother!"

The girl was crying out for help from her brother as she was in the clutches of that monster. The girl's tears were flowing in fear.

She looked really scared.

"Diana, don't panic your brother will save you. Don't be afraid at all. I'm coming in. Trust me."

The boy took his sword in his hand and tried to strike him forward to attack the Meblier monster by hitting his foot on the ground.

As soon as the boy reached close to that monster, that monster hit his paw on the boy's chest. 

As soon as there was a claw mark on the boy's clothes, the cloth of his shirt got torn, and blood started flowing from his chest.

Due to the force of the blow, the boy roamed on the ground below and fell on the tree behind.

As soon as he hit the tree, a little blood started flowing from his mouth too.

"Brother, brother, are you okay, brother? Save me, Brother, save Diana. You said you would save Diana. Brother."

The horse tied to the tree was also scared of seeing that monster and was trying to run away from there, but they could not run away from there due to being tied.

All the attention of that Meblier Monster was on that five-year-old girl. She was screaming to save her, but the monster still was not taking the name of leaving the girl.

The monster made that girl with his hand towards his mouth, and he started opening his mouth to eat that girl.

The girl was very scared seeing this scene.

"Brother, brother, save Diana. She'll be a good girl, never ask anyone to go out. Brother, save me."

The boy had fallen to the ground, but even then, he was still standing in this condition, and after standing, he was going to save his sister from that monster.

"Diana, I won't let anything happen to you. Your brother will not let you die. I am coming to save you."

The boy was trying to come running near that monster, but the speed of that boy was not that fast.

The monster had brought that girl towards his mouth, and seeing this, the boy's fear started showing on his face.

He was trying to come near that monster while running, but he was still away from this monster.

The boy was running toward that monster with all his life; he could not use magic because if he used it, it could also happen that that girl would get hurt.

As soon as that sound came, a black-haired boy with red eyes in front of him had jumped in the air toward that monster.

In one hand of the boy was like a flower, and in the other hand was tied like a bracelet. He jumped very quickly towards that monster.

As the black-haired boy jumped towards the monster, he drew his sword from the sheath hanging on his waist in the air with his other hand, which was empty.

As soon as he took the sword out of the sheath, the light of a semi-circle arc came in the air, and the boy sat down on the ground.

As soon as he came down to the ground, that monster's blood, dark blue blood, started flowing from his throat, and his torso fell down from his body to the ground.

And seeing this, the boy who had the cloth on his face, looking in surprise, looked at the front. He still could not believe his eyes as to what had happened.

"Brother!"

As soon as she fell down the monster's torso, the child Diana in her hand also left her hand, and the whole body of that monster started falling to the ground. And that girl started falling down.

Seeing that girl falling, her brother started running towards her to save her from falling down.

"Diana"

Her brother came where his sister was about to fall, and as his sister was about to fall to the ground, he put out his hand and saved his sister from falling down.

"Brother, Diana was terrified. She thought she would die.—"

The girl was crying while hugging her brother. His brother also had tears in his eyes; he also felt for a moment that his sister might be unable to escape.

He, too, was crying and hugging her.

"Thank god, thank god. Nothing happened to you otherwise how could I forgive myself. I am really glad that you are fine....…. And thank you too stranger boy because of you my sister-"

The boy was not there when the boy looked at the other dark-haired boy who had saved his sister's life.

There were questions in the boy's mind about that black-haired boy, but the boy, removing the question from his mind, started going towards the horse tied to the tree.

His attention was still on taking his sister back home, and there was a slight sadness on his face that he could not even show the beautiful scene that he had come to show his sister.

But still, the boy took all this out of his mind and started walking toward the horse.

Diana kept quiet, but her gaze was backward. She was looking at where the black-haired boy had disappeared.

Looking back at Diana, only one thing came to mind. Which were stories that Diana was told every day.

As soon as he was ready to return on the horse and was about to leave, Diana said something in a very low voice that even her brother could not hear.

Roy was moving as fast as he could for the rest of his life, blowing a whirlwind of dust on the ground below.

Hugh was listening to Daniel's words with his head bowed down. He was not responding to a single word of hers. But when Daniel asked him the reason for his trust, Hugh clenched his fist for a moment.

As soon as he spoke Daniel's last sentence, he made up his mind and started looking at him. Looking into Hugh's eyes, it seemed that a secret was about to be uncovered, which he hid. 

"If you only want to know what is the reason for my trust? Why am I trusting Roy so much then listen."

As Hugh spoke, Daniel looked at Hugh with full concentration. He wants to know what is Hugh's reason for trusting Roy so much.

Seeing this, Hugh made up his mind to tell Daniel the whole thing which Roy had refused to tell him.

Hugh was hesitant for a few moments, but once he looked at Amelia, he decided to tell Daniel about everything he had hidden from him.

'Now if the situation has come to this verge, then I don't think I should hide this thing for any longer.'

Hugh started looking at Daniel with a serious eye and, on seeing Daniel, started opening all the things in front of Daniel that Hugh had kept hidden from everyone.

"Do you know who gave me the solution to solve the disease of your territory-"

Hugh started telling Daniel all the things one by one, and as soon as Hugh started telling Daniel, the colors on Daniel's face also started flying.

Daniel had not even imagined that such a thing would start coming out of Hugh's tongue.

He listened attentively to everything Hugh said.

Every single word of Hugh was blowing Daniel's senses. He was so surprised by Hugh's words that he was not able to answer even Hugh's words.

He still couldn't believe it.

'There is not even a drop of water left in the bottle that Roy had given. And it is not even known how long Roy will return. He has made us refuse to take Amelia from here, but Amelia's pain is also increasing. How can that be stopped.'

Hugh was looking at Amelia. Amelia's pain was increasing slowly. Hugh was pained to see Amelia in this condition. He could not see his sister in this condition.

'What should I do now, should I obey Roy and keep Amelia in this condition by staying here or take Amelia to the medical facility? What decision would be appropriate at this point of time?'

When they saw the line, they both panicked and started looking for the person who had attacked them from the left.

As soon as Daniel turned back, he started looking at that torrent maker, and as soon as Hugh also put his eyes on that torrent maker, a ray of hope came on his face.

"Roy... are you okay?"

Roy was looking halfway while keeping one hand on the tree, there was blood all over his clothes, and the clothes were also torn from many places. But he still stood in his place.

When he saw Roy, his first glance fell on Roy's condition. 

Seeing his condition, Hugh started asking him about his condition in concern. 

"I told you that if anyone tries to take her away from here without my consent, he will not be able to see tomorrow's sun."

As soon as Roy said this, very quickly, where Hugh was sitting with Amelia, Roy started running towards where Amelia was on the ground.

Seeing Roy, Hugh's face was wrinkled with concern seeing his condition, and Daniel also looked at Roy in surprise. 

"How did this happen to you, who made you in such a condition, we feel the need to take you for the first treatment."

Roy, ignoring Daniel's words, went to Amelia, sat on the ground himself, and placed Amelia's head in his lap.

Amelia was in pain, but Roy still did not budge even after seeing this.

As he held Amelia in his lap, Roy placed the flower in his hand in front of Amelia's face and began to crush it with his fist.

"What are you doing with a flower? We need to take you to the doctor now. And which flower is this, I have never seen such a flower. Where did you get this from?"

Daniel, seeing Roy squeezing the flower, started asking him about what he was doing, but Roy was still doing his job without answering Daniel's words.

As soon as Roy squeezed the flower very quickly in his hand, a few drops of juice came out of that flower and went inside Amelia's mouth.

As soon as that drop came out inside Amelia's throat, a yellow light came out from her body, and as soon as a few drops fell, that flower also became soil and fell to the ground below.

And on seeing Amelia's body which had turned blue from the poison, it also started to return to its normal state, and seeing this condition of Amelia, a smile came on Roy's face, which was very rare to see. 

He was glad that his hard work was successful and that the poison had come out of Amelia's body.

But seeing this, Hugh and Daniel could not keep their surprise to themselves; they started asking Roy about what had happened.

"Roy, what was it now? What was this flower and is Amelia all right now? But what was it all about? Tell us" 

"I had heard that somewhere that, in the olden days there was such an ancient flower which could cure all diseases which have disappeared, is it this flower? if yes, where did you get it from?"

Hugh was even more surprised when the word "Ancient Flowers" came out of Daniel's mouth.
