10 Chapter 09 :- Has He Relocated?

Upon realizing that he had been reincarnated, Chu Feng initially felt a surge of elation. However, this feeling was swiftly replaced by a profound sense of apprehension and unease.

On the morning of September 20, 2022, at exactly 9 am,

The Earth was subjected to an event of unprecedented scale. Spatial rifts appeared seemingly out of nowhere, and from these gaps emerged creatures of unknown origin. Simultaneously, all life forms on Earth began to mutate.

In a blink of an eye, the entire planet was transformed into a massive battlefield. The foundations of civilization collapsed, and a sense of despair permeated the populace.

In times of peace, humans were largely civilized, engaging in intellectual activities such as reading, writing, painting, and dancing. Lawbreakers were apprehended and imprisoned.

However, when the world was on the verge of annihilation, humanity regressed from a state of civilization to one of savagery. In a desperate struggle for survival, individuals resorted to cannibalism. Even couples, once deeply in love, could turn against each other over a piece of stale bread.

Within a single day, the world underwent a complete transformation. Some people managed to survive, but their existence was a fate worse than death. Others were not so fortunate.

With less than two hours remaining until the end of the world, Chu Feng, filled with anxiety, quickly got dressed. His classmate, Li Bin, who lived in the lower bunk bed across from him, was puzzled to see Chu Feng awake at such an early hour.

"Chu Feng?

Why are you up so early?

Are you going for morning self-study?" Li Bin inquired.

As he hurriedly dressed, Chu Feng looked at Li Bin, and a flood of memories washed over him.

"You are… Li Bin?"Chu Feng queried.

Li Bin was taken aback,

"What?

You don't even recognize me anymore?

Are you really that sleepy?"

Sleep?

Chu Feng wished it was all a dream. The end of the world, the collapse of civilization, the alien invasion… He vividly remembered that on the first day of the world's end, Li Bin was impaled through the heart by a mantis-like creature's serrated sickle. Blood splattered everywhere, and his body was torn apart by those insects.

With these thoughts in mind, Chu Feng, now fully dressed, leaped out of bed. He glanced at the other five roommates who were awakened by him in the bedroom.

"For the sake of being classmates, let me give you a piece of advice!" Chu Feng declared.

"What advice?" one of them queried.

"Don't leave the bedroom before nine o'clock today," Chu Feng quickly advised.

"Why?"

another roommate questioned.

Chu Feng attempted to explain, "Everyone should have studied physics, right? You know that one dimension is a line, two dimensions are surfaces, three dimensions are three-dimensional, and four dimensions are…"

"Cease, cease, cease,

Chu Feng, what are you attempting to communicate?"

a dorm mate interjected.

"Rubbish, I'm utterly clueless about your discourse," another chimed in. Chu Feng, undeterred by their interruptions, implored them to lend him their ears. He stole another glance at his mobile phone and then made a startling revelation,

"In two hours, the apocalypse will be upon us. A cosmic tempest will engulf the world, causing the earth's surface to vibrate and fracture, opening up numerous tiny spatial rifts…"

Having delivered this shocking news, Chu Feng observed his roommates, their faces a mixture of confusion and disbelief. A subtle smile graced his lips as he spoke in a hushed tone,

"Are you familiar with the concept of a cosmic storm?

It's a phenomenon that will render the majority of the earth's electronic devices and precision instruments utterly useless!

In its aftermath, all your electrically powered devices - your mobile phones, air conditioners, computers, even your lighting fixtures - will cease to function."

Chu Feng's words seemed outlandish, prompting his roommates to regard him as if he were a idiot.

"Chu Feng, have you gone mad?"

one of them queried. "It sounds terrifying, as if you've lived through it!" another remarked.

"Are you still trapped in your dream?" a third one inquired.

"Indeed, it's 2022 now!

Do you think we're still in 2012?"

 a fourth one added.

"Have you been watching too many films?"

the fifth one questioned.

"You even mentioned the end of the world and the arrival of a cosmic storm.

Is it possible for water to seep into your brain when you pour it into your ear?"

the first one retorted.

Chu Feng's roommates ridiculed him, dismissing his claims entirely. From time immemorial, there have been countless prophecies of the end of the world, both major and minor!

Particularly since the year 2012, people have scoffed at the notion of an impending apocalypse!

What is the end of the world?

Only a fool would believe in it!

"Whether you choose to believe it or not is entirely up to you!" Chu Feng retorted, no longer interested in persuading them.

He spun on his heel and dashed out of the dormitory. Having been granted a new lease on life by the divine, he certainly wouldn't squander his time explaining such a mundane matter. Two hours, though brief, were incredibly precious. If used wisely, he could leverage the memories of his past life to thrive in the end times.

As for the lives of his roommates?

He begged their pardon. In the end times, everyone is at risk, and even he could only ensure his own survival, let alone look after others. Having exited the dormitory, Chu Feng couldn't help but sniffle.

Hehehe!

He gazed at the white clouds, the azure sky, and the students laughing and couples expressing their affection on the playground, and he inhaled deeply!

"Observe, my classmates, the forthcoming events will etch indelible memories into your minds for the rest of your lives, provided you survive, that is," Chu Feng declared.

On September 20, 2022, at 9:00 am,

Chu Feng vividly remembered that unprecedented calamities erupted simultaneously across the globe! Dense fog, earthquakes, tsunamis, tornadoes.

An alien invasion!

The human death toll was staggering. It was a nightmare for anyone!

In the end times, what is of utmost importance?

Undoubtedly, supplies!

However, upon leaving the dormitory, Chu Feng didn't immediately set out to gather supplies. Instead, he hailed a taxi and headed straight for the shanty town in the southern part of the city. Whether one admits it or not, surviving as a group in a harsh environment like the end times is definitely easier than surviving alone. Therefore, he needed to locate that dependable teammate first.

Wei Jianjun!

In his previous life, after their paths crossed, he had once accompanied Wei Jianjun back to his home.

He was aware of Wei Jianjun's place of residence. However, upon his arrival…

What?

Has he relocated?

Chu Feng was taken aback.
