14 Confrontation

Raj sat in his office and though a lot about all the movies and plots and researched about the timelines of each of the movie, then he narrowed down his interest to Bheeshma group of industries which was pretty much thriving right now but soon enough, another rival company will go to war with the their company and drive their stock prices down, not only that but there is also a way for Raj to take over the company if he planned it right and came in contact with the grandfather CEO of that company. All in all, he had thought of an initial plan but that was still a while away, in the mean time he would rather focus on the ordinary companies present which are not much affected by the other movie mixed companies and earn his money vigorously.

Raj then sat in his office for a few hours and made several investment plans while some would be very bizarre and some people would straight up scold him for his strategies. Like Adani group which was practically sinking rose so much but then again due to rumours it sank and then stabilized again. No one else could see or predict this but Raj could. Of course, he would just release his plans step by step and not give the whole plan

Raj stayed in the office till evening, having various meetings and discussing his strategies and plans with all the people of the company. Then he returned home, when he came back, he could see that everyone a little tense and just doing their own things, when Raj looked around, he could see that his parent's room was closed. Which basically meant that they were inside talking or fighting about something. Raj just sighed and came to the living room. he'll fix it tomorrow anyway so there was no need to think too much about it, Raj then cheered everyone in the house up and after a socializing with his family he went to his bedroom and called some people to arrange everything for tomorrow

The next day was a weekend, but Raj's father Ramachandra still had some work to do in the office and so he was leaving the house, but Raj suddenly stopped him and asked him to come to the living room, he asked him to wait for a while and that he could leave after lunch as he had something important to discuss with him. Ramachandra was surprised to see his son insisting so much and just obliged

After an hour or so when Raj was talking to everyone in the living room peacefully, a few people came inside his house and stood in front of them, everyone was a little stunned as to why the guards at the door would let them in like this, but there were two people there who recognized the person, one was scared out of his wits and the other was too angry she didn't know what to do. Naturally it was Raj's father Ramachandra and mother Yashu

They both stood up and looked at the women in the midst of them, they both shouted the same thing but with different tones "Why are you here!" everyone else in the family were stunned, what was happening? But Raj stood up before that girl could talk and said "I invited all of them here, you don't need to worry, there are some things that needs to be clarified here"

Ramachandra and Yashu were stunned, but still stayed quiet and sat down. Raj continued "As you all know, my mom and dad are not talking to each other properly for about 7 years now. My dad blames himself for his mistake and doesn't know what to do to make it right and my mom is mad at him because he's not properly explained or initiated the conversation about the matter yet at all. And that mistake is this woman Revathi beside me"

Everyone was stunned, of course they knew her, everyone at home knew about their affair over time, she was fired so soon after her joining and there were so many indicators. But to think Raj would actually invite her home? What was he thinking?!

Raj continued, "actually you have to know that my father was never a man to indulge in lust like this, he was always an honest man, but to think he actually fell for a woman he only met for a few months was a little strange and so I did something that none of you didn't think about. To actually investigate her and find out the truth, it was pretty much what I expected in the first place but I invited her here, threatening her that if she didn't come forward to explain herself then I would go to the police and she would be taken to jail"

Everyone was curious about the 'truth' so they just waited, finally Revathi came forward, she was in her 40s, she was relatively good looking for her age and it could be seen that she took care of her beauty well. She finally spoke, a little shaken "After joining as Ramachandra sir's secretary, I gradually got to know him better and understood that he such a nice person, and that understanding slowly turned into love, it was stupid of me, but I couldn't help myself. I still tried to bottle up my feelings but the more I worked under him and saw his demeanour, I couldn't help myself, I would always dress my best in hopes that he will notice me in the slightest but he would always ignore me. Gradually that love turned into obsession, I made constant small moves on him but he wouldn't fall for it"

She looked Ramachandra with a look of accusing him and continued "so finally I couldn't help myself, at a business party I had brought an odourless aphrodisiac that any man would be a victim of and sure enough. He couldn't resist as well. After the incident I thought he might like me and he would have no choice but to take care of me but no! he fired me! and blocked me from him life again! So what else could I do, I just eventually gave up" and she sighed

It was a shocking revelation! Everyone were stunned, including Ramachandra and Yashu, who would've thought that there was such a big plot at play here, they all looked at Revathi with anger and contempt. Finally Ramachandra also picked up his courage and said to Yashu, his wife in front of the whole family "Yashu, I always wanted to explain myself, at the time I had an inferior complex when compared to you who are perfect and always do your best for the family. I thought it was because of that, that I couldn't resist myself and had an affair, even if everything she said is true, it is still my fault and also for not explaining things to you properly." He bent down and said "Please forgive me"

Yashu was also emotional at this point and said "is it my fault that I'm good and try to be perfect Ram? You don't have to explain yourself, but all I ask is that you talk about what happened and help each other. You be you! But to think you wouldn't have the confidence that I would believe you is what hurt me the most"

She went ahead and picked Ramachandra up and they both finally reconciled, Raj was also happy to see them like this and so was the rest of the family, Raj then told them that he would take care of Revathi and to entrust this matter to him. Everyone agreed as it was Raj who found out the truth in the first place. He took Revathi and the private investigators out of the house

As they came out of the house, Revathi suddenly said "I hope my acting is worth the money you're paying me" with a sly smile. Yes, indeed, all the story about Revathi drugging him was all made up by Raj, it was the only way to clear his father's name and do it in a way he didn't have to put himself down. Sure he could've done it like in the movie, but that would portray his father to be wrong, in the future when he gets too rich and influential in society, it would be a black mark on his side which he didn't want and so he paid her almost 10 million $ from the investment company funds and a passport to Venice forever. A price he was willing to pay.
