After that, the two went home.

The next day, at 10 in the morning, Laura brought her team to the Mills group's headquarters.

At the door, a middle-aged man with a beer belly saw Laura.

Seeing Laura approaching, he immediately greeted her with a smile.

"Good morning! Are you Miss Crown from the Crown group? I am the marketing director of the Mills Group. My name is Joe East. It's a pleasure to meet you."

"I indeed am Laura Crown and, a very good morning to you too, Director East."

The two shook hands amicably.

Then, Laura's team was invited inside by the other party into the meeting room of the group's headquarters.

After a cup of tea, they got to the point.

"Ms. Crown, Mr. Mills has already informed us about your discussion last night, so we will follow your plan. You can buy the batch of equipment from us on credit and we will charge you the same interest rate as the bank.."

After Laura read the contract, she nodded, "Alright, it's good. Let's go on with the contract!"

"Ms. Crown, it was a pleasure doing business with you! As a bonus, we have already rushed the batch of equipment. It will be shipped tomorrow and can be delivered the day after tomorrow."

Laura was very surprised, "It's going to be delivered so soon?"

Large medical devices like the ones the Crown family asked for usually take days to ship and at least a few more weeks to be delivered.

"Yes, it's all thanks to young master Mills. He did everything in his power to make this happen."

Laura felt warm when she heard it.

"In addition to that, the young master also said that if you don't know what to do with the old equipment in your hospital, you can hand it over to us and we will give you a reduced price on the interest."

"Really?" Laura's eyes lit up.

The medical equipment is hard to dispose of and cannot just be thrown away like garbage.

It must be sold to a good company which can handle everything but there are very few companies which do this.

Since they had not found a company yet, the old equipment only took up space and money, which became a problem she had to deal with.

"If you agree, we can send someone over now to take that old equipment away!" The director said with a business smile on his face.

"Thank you, Director East. This will help us a lot."

Laura did not expect her trip to the Mills group to be one with such great results.

All this was thanks to only one person.

"By the way, where is your young master? I don't see him here?"

"Our young master...", the director smiled wryly, "He most probably hasn't gotten up yet. He has his name in our group, but he never arrives before noon. The president and his mother are very worried about his behaviour."

"So he likes to sleep late." Laura covered her mouth and laughed lightly, "Don't worry, I think your young master is very good. Maybe he'll be better from now on."

"I hope so…" Director East sighed.

As one of the oldest people in the group, he didn't want the group to fall because of an incompetent heir.

After everything was done, Laura walked out of the group with a bright smile on her face.

On the way back, she couldn't help but pick up her phone and text Rowan.

Laura: I came to your group today, everything was done smoothly. Thank you for everything.

Laura: Huh? You're replying so fast, shouldn't you be sleeping right now?

Rowan: I can't sleep, I've got some annoying matters to deal with.

Laura: What's bothering you?

Rowan: Some financial problems. I've recently been short of money. I can't do anything. 

Laura: You're lacking money? That makes no sense… (doubt.jpg)

Rowan: Why? My parents cut off my bank card to prevent me from spending so much. There is less than 10k left in my account. I can't even afford to eat at a good restaurant. (crying.jpg)

Laura: Don't you deserve it for spending so much in the past though? (smiling.jpg)

Rowan: …

Laura: Anyhow, since you have no money, I'll invite you to dinner. Let me make it clear, It's only a dinner and nothing else will happen, understood?

Rowan: What 'other thing' are you talking about? I just graduated from kindergarten around 240 months ago, I don't really understand. (innocent face.jpg) 

Laura: ...

Laura: Don't pretend to not understand. You must have taken a lot of girls like this. Just tell me if you'll go or not. 

Rowan: Alright alright, I'll go.

Rowan: Miss, although I don't know what 'other thing' you were talking about, but if it's you…(Shy face.jpg)

Laura: …

'Yeah, he does not seem reliable…', Laura chuckled before putting her phone down and sitting in the car comfortably.
