Chapter 13 Music

As I walked down the hallway towards my room, I couldn't help but notice the beautiful sound of violin music coming from my brother's room. I was surprised to hear the music and wondered who was playing. As she approached Kaim's room, she realized that the music was coming from inside.

Curious, she knocked on the door her brother called out for her to come in and her brother's maid, Celine, opened the door for her. I saw Kaim holding a violin, playing a beautiful melody. He was accompanied by his maid, who was sitting on a chair near a table after opening the door for me. I was amazed and didn't know that my brother was able to play music.

"I heard the music and I wanted to know who was playing," she said, as she walked into the room.

"It's me," Kaim replied with a smile, as he continued to play. "I've learned it few years ago, and I thought I'd try it out."

I was impressed, I had never heard him play before and she was pleased to see that he had a musical talent. She listened to him play for a few minutes, enjoying the beautiful sound of the violin and the skill with which he played.

"You're very talented, I had no idea you could play like that," she said, as he finished the song.

I could see that he was truly enjoying himself and I was happy to see him so relaxed and happy. She realized that music was a way for him to express himself and escape the pressures of being a noble.

He then reached into his pocket and pulled out the silver pendant that he had acquired at the auction. He handed it to me, saying "I want you to have this, Abigail. I think this pendant would look lovely on you."

My eyes widened as I looked at the pendant. I could see the intricate designs and the way the blue gemstone sparkled in the light. I was touched by my brother's gesture and I knew that the pendant would be a treasured possession.

I took the pendant and put it around my neck, admiring the way it looked against my dress. I looked at my brother with a big smile and said, "Thank you, Kaim. I love it."

When I first met my brother, Kaim, she was initially taken aback by his sharp and intense gaze. He seemed distant and cold. She couldn't help but feel a bit intimidated by him, as he seemed to be someone who was used to getting what he wanted and not taking no for an answer. However, as I spent more time with him, I began to see a different side of him. I saw that he was not the cold and distant person that she had first thought, but he was quite kind and caring. He always spend time with her and he would often take her on outings and show her around the estate. He was not cold, but rather he was a bit reserved and quiet, but he had a good sense of humour and he was very curious about her and her interests. He was attentive and always willing to listen to her and help her with whatever she needed.

I also observed that he had a sharp eye and attention to detail, but it was not something that he used to judge others, rather, it was a trait that he used to appreciate and notice the beauty in the things around him.

I was glad that I had the opportunity to know my brother better, I realized that first impressions can be deceiving and that people can surprise you in many ways. I was happy to have him as my brother, and she knew that they would have a strong bond and a great relationship.

The reason Celine is in the room is that I want her to hear my music. I learned to play the violin a few years back but have put it away since because of a lack of time. But I guess I still got the talent as both she and my sister enjoyed it.

After I was done playing the violin, I push both of them out of my room.

As Kaim's maid, she had been with him for many years and had seen him go through many different phases and interests. She remembered when he first started playing the violin and how much he enjoyed it, but over time she noticed he gradually stopped playing it.

As the years passed, she noticed that Kaim had not picked up the violin in a long time and she wondered if he had lost interest in it. She missed the music and the memories they shared while playing together.

But when she saw him playing the violin again, with Abigail in the room, she felt a sense of relief wash over her. When she saw Abigail enter the room, she was a little bit worried that Kaim might be embarrassed or upset that his secret had been exposed. However, as she saw the look of surprise and admiration on Abigail's face, she could tell that Kaim's sister was genuinely impressed by his playing.

She was also happy to see the bond between the two siblings growing stronger through music and she knew that this would be a great memory for both of them. She also thought that playing with Kaim was a nice way for her to relax and forget about her duties as a maid and that it was also a nice way to bond with her employer and his sister.

She realized that his love for music and the violin had not died, it was just dormant. She was happy to see him playing again and she knew that it would bring him joy and relaxation.
