You'd think humanity has gone through a downfall by the way millennials act. Newsflash though: humanity has long been rotten and it's just been passed from ancestral generations to the present. The cycle is just merely never-ending.

But at one time, in one cycle, humanity had inherited from God different powers that had yielded their lives easy. But those powers brought forth war and death due to the desire of dominion of the strong over the weak.

Humanity killed humanity.

God was enraged. God raised His hand and declared that for peace to renew, humanity must be reborn, without power; without memory. They will live without their magic and their gifts, and survive by the sweat of their brow. They shall forget all the many cycles they have lived on His Earth from beginning to end. They will have fragile bodies that are harder to care for and they will live no longer than a hundred years. This is their punishment for their greed, for their cruelty, for wasting life, and for their useless hatred and fear of something that isn't themselves.

Although most of us have forgotten what power we once yielded, there will always be a few who have secretly inherited these powers like a recessive trait in our DNA: those who are able to read minds and raise objects with the power of their minds, those who are able to yield unparalleled strength and great instincts, those who have complete control over their and others' dreams, those who love the water as if they once thrived in it, those who love far longer than a mere hundred years, and even those with quick, intelligent, and photographic minds.

History is in everywhere. Even in your blood. But it is hidden. It is sealed within us, limiting us to use only 10% of your brain, and thus, restricting our capabilies, and the potentiality of the human-kind.

But what if God never revoked His blessing? What if somehow, humanity had redeemed themselves in the Father's eyes and so had been allowed to keep their powers? What then?

Would the Selkies and the Undines still inhabit our oceans and seas?

Would the Satori still be able to create their own unique self-sufficient magic and call it science?

Would the Djinns and the Wraiths still lurk in the shadows of our minds and our physical worlds?

Would the Faerie folk, the Kupwa, the Korrigans and the Hunters still hide somewhere we don't know?

Would the Strzyga (vampires) and Nymphs still struggle with their immortality?

Would the Lycans and the Wendigos still be the most feared kind?

Would the Encantados, the Sorcerers, and the Healers still be the most sought out existences?

And would the Angelus and the Valkyrie still remain myths?

Or perhaps everything everyone had known until now had just merely been a dream and now it is time for us to slowly wake…
