41 Chapter 41 - Kengan Match

The next day, Haruto had informed the others about his trip, telling him that he was going somewhere to train. He took in his surroundings as he left the car. It was an abandoned amusement park but the one thing that bothered him is this.

"What kind of nut job builds a park in the middle of nowhere?" He muttered. Spotting Suoh but her look said that she was walking towards her he quickly pokes her cheek.

"Wha! Haruto-san?" She said looking a bit distracted from something.

"Why so worried? I already gave you my word didn't I?" He asked.

"I know... It's just I'm worried that if we lose then my company we'll be..." She stopped when she felt his hand on her head.

"It's all right, why? Because I'm here, ready perfectly." He said with a confident grin.

Suoh could only smile even though she doubted there was something about Haruto that made her trust him. She then giggled.

"That line sounds like it's from a manga." She said while stuffing her giggles. Haruto just chuckled.

"Stop worrying it's a waste of energy. Just believe in me then I'll be fine." He said and Suoh thought for a moment.

"I just realized, but how old are you?" Suoh asked, seeing he looked around her age. She's 23 at the moment.

"15." Haruto answered, causing Suoh's eyes to widen.

"OH MY GOODNESS!!! I'M SENDING A MINOR TO HIS DEATH!" Suoh screamed in fear realizing his fear where Haruto frowned, then Karate chopped her head to stop her.

"Breath, Suoh, breath. Look at me." Haruto grabbed her by the shoulder trying to calm her down and she listened to her command. After a few moments, she finally regained some control.

"Sorry, I just can't believe you're 15." Suoh did investigate him but only focused on contacting him since she was desperate.

"Don't worry about my age, it doesn't matter in the fight." He said while Suoh was unsure on what to do but decided to have faith in him. They headed to where the people were gathered and everyone was looking at them to remove his shirt and shoes.

"Mind holding this for me?" He asked as the young woman took his clothes making her blush seeing his heavily defined muscle.

"Well, wish me luck." He said before going inside the ring.

"Will he be alright ma'am?" The driver asked.

"I... I don't know. This is the first time I've been in a kengan match but..." She tried to finish but readied herself to see the match. If Haruto loses then her company would be in a greater debt but if he wins, then she would be eternally grateful. Haruto raised his arms as the referee checked him before lifting his jeans revealing his legs had weights.

"Oh... Oops, I forgot to take that off." He said with a chuckle before removing it and giving it to the referee. He could hear people whispering about his blindfold thinking he has death wish. Facing his opponent it was a gargantuan man three times his size.

"Dude, what vitamins have you been drinking?" He asked.

"Kid, forfeit before you get hurt." His opponent showed his imposing presence while Haruto shook his head.

"You should tell that to yourself or are you afraid to lose?" Haruto smirked, annoying his enemy.

"You lost a chance, kid. Don't blame me for accidentally crippling you." His opponent said as he stretched a bit. He could hear the people watching him making bets about him losing. However, his employer surprised him.

"¥ 5,000,000 on my fighter winning." Suoh's voice echoed. Everyone stopped before staring at her and laughed.

It didn't take long for them to call her names. However, Suoh kept her determined look. However, Haruto had heard it all and the park suddenly felt chill, not as cool but the sensation of a prey realizing there is a predator in the area.

Most of them were sweating with fear unaware of its source except Suoh who once felt it during their first meeting but this was more dangerous.

"Well sorry, big guy looks like I have to live up to my employer's expectations, bad luck for you," Haruto said while his opponent was now having a panicked look.

"Begin!" The referee yelled. The giant then recklessly charges towards him. For Haruto it was nothing, shifting his legs a bit he then waited for the man to get closer, ignoring the rest that gathered their willpower and was now mocking his inaction. When his opponent was close to him, he struck.

Everyone expected a lot of things when the one-sided battle began, most expecting a broken corpse of the Mihono company representative. Instead the impossible happened, when the fighter struck, they expected him to break his hand instead of the opposite happening.

As Haruto's fist connected to his opponent's ribs, he didn't just break his ribs. He smashed it to bits followed by sending his opponent 13 ft off the ground. All this happened in one punch.

There was only silence as the giant landed as his eyes rolled back into his head. However, Haruto broke the silence.

"Well, hope you get stronger, big guy." He said smiling having defeated his opponent rather easily.

"W-Winner Haruto Yuuki." The referee yelled.

"holy shit..." One watcher said.

"He just beat that guy in one punch." Another said.

"Forget that, he just sent my fighter flying! whose weight is 190 kg."

On the other hand, Suoh couldn't believe it. He won, he won against a giant like a shounen protagonist. She couldn't help but laugh loudly as she pointed to her competitors.

"See that, That's what my fighter is capable of." She said in glee. After seeing that, she believed Haruto was a blessing from the heavens above for no ordinary fighter could withstand such odds. Not knowing how right she was.

Everyone could only look at her like she had gone insane before looking at the victor.

"What?" Haruto asked, tilting his head sensing their gaze. Leaving the ring, Haruto then put on his shirt, suddenly he stopped and looked to his right and saw his employer.

"Haruto-san that was amazing!" Suoh said in excitement.

"Truly a splendid display of power Haruto-san." The driver said still shocked that the young man in front of him had dominated the fight.

"Hehehe thanks but wish he was a bit stronger..." Haruto said, rubbing his neck.

"Still, it's incredible," Suoh said.

"Also thanks to you we won such a large sum." This got his attention.

"How much?" He asked before Suoh gave him the amount on the check. He could only whistle at the amount. It was a 5 and a lot of zeroes.

"I expected it to be a smaller amount." He muttered. Suoh however heard and made a smug smile.

"You should have seen their faces, it was hilarious." She giggled.

Haruto didn't know much about Suoh since she only came about three times if he remembered in the new memories... or was it twice? Still seeing this personality of hers reminded him that while she was from the other memories, the world he was living in is also her reality.

"Well, I better get back home." He said but his employer decided to have some fun.

"How about we celebrate? I know BBQ spots that serve amazing beef." Suoh suggested and Haruto thought for a moment then nodded.

"Sure, why not. I did tell my sibling that I might be gone the whole day." Haruto got into the car as they headed back to the home city where they got into the spot and began ordering.

"I'm really glad you weren't injured." Suoh was relieved when she saw him not only win but harm after the fight. It was too fast to even call a fight.

"Yeah, but I'm a bit disappointed that he wasn't strong enough to give me an exciting fight." Haruto said resting on his knuckle waiting for their meal to be cooked in front of them.

"You want someone stronger? Why?" Suoh doesn't understand why he would wish to fight stronger opponents. She thought this is about money and winning.

"It is hard to describe but fighters like myself seek more than just material things. We want to prove something and show who's stronger." Haruto had developed a warrior's pride during the two months training and Suoh still can't understand his reason.

"Still I'm curious why you're wearing a blindfold." Suoh asked and Haruto smiled.

"How about you guess?" She pondered the reason and couldn't find any reason other than what he said.

"Can't you show me ?" Suoh said rather cutely and Haruto chuckled then untied his covers revealing his eyes that surprised her.

"W-What!? How is your sclera black and pupil red?" Suoh was shocked to see his eyes and got the other patron's attention but quickly ignored.

"Result of my training but it's too distracting which is why I hide it." Haruto said, blindfolding himself back and Suoh's curiosity was now satisfied.

"You don't look 15 even though you told me." Suoh said as she looked at him closely, seeing his athletic body and almost irresistible face.

"Hehehe a lot of training and food." Haruto chuckled looking at the food that started to crisp up. After some time two began to eat and Suoh ordered some alcohol for herself.

"Too bad you're a minor can't drink yet." She said pouring a glass for herself and drank it like water. Haruto wryly smiled at how easily she drank it.

"Uhmm…do be careful not to get drunk." Haruto said and she didn't seem to hear him as Suoh ate some BBQ. It didn't take long for her to slowly lose control and became increasingly drunk.

"I was hoping that I'll get to live freely after I graduate! But no, things had to be like this!" Suoh complained and in the end Haruto had to listen to her rant.

"My boyfriend even broke up with me after everything! It's really frustrating." Haruto lets her speak her mind enjoying the BBQ meat but still prefers something that has some soup.

"You, do you have someone you like?" Suoh asked.

"I do. Her name is Lala and special kind of girl." Haruto answered without hesitation and Suoh nodded envying the girl who got Haruto.

"Really what kind of girl is she?" Suoh felt curious.

"Caring and loving but also playful and troublesome at times." Haruto smiled thinking about Lala then shifted at the fact that Honoka and Ghislaine also like him and both made things complicated. Suoh saw his expression and blush, never seeing her boyfriend act this way. Perhaps he only wanted her Monet and influence?

"What a lucky girl to have a man like you. I wonder when I will get a guy like you." Suoh drank another cup of alcohol.

"There are countless men out there, just wait and I'm sure they'll one day come." Haruto said, giving a supporting smile that Suoh blushed and nodded. After some time, they chatted a bit more, sharing some hobbies and trivial things before Suoh was too drunk to continue.

He helped take her to the car and made the driver take them to her home. It didn't take long for them to arrive at an apartment complex showing how much her life degraded. Haruto took her apartment keys and helped get to bed where she unexpectedly started to undress showing her asset that wasn't far compare to Lala.

"It's too hot in here! Haruto, why don't you stay here for the night?" Suoh was giggling and hiccuping while Haurto shook his head.

"Thanks for the offer but I have somewhere to go tomorrow and need to pack things." Haruto answered, making his employer pout and shockingly wrapping her arms around his shoulder and praised her naked body against his.

"Then how about I give you a kiss and then some?" Suoh suggested showing that she doesn't mind sleeping with him.

"Uhmm as much I would love that you're drunk and don't want to take advantage of it." He doesn't want to sleep with a drunken woman knowing things might escalate while also hoping to give his first to Lala and someone who he barely knew.

"Hmph, am I not good looking?" Suoh acted like a child and pouted at him.

"No, I think you're beautiful and gorgeous with a bright personality. But it would be wrong to sleep with you and things might escalate." Haruto is still a man with urges and being able to control doesn't mean he completely lost it. Suoh giggled hearing him compliment her.

"Hehehe thank you, and I think you're also handsome and cute at the same time..." Suoh said as she got too drunk and finally fell asleep. Haruto shook his head and placed her on the bed. He looks around noticing how much of a mess her apartment was and decides to help clean it since he has time. Haruto only took a few hours to finish and looked at Suoh who was sleeping soundly with a smile on her face.

'I wonder if this is her first time having a good rest?' He thought and soon left the place where he met up with the driver suggesting to drive him home but Haruto declined then vanished from his spot, shocking the driver.
