22 Chapter 22 - Summoning Contract

Fighting and training are two different things. Haruto was exhausted on the ground completely battered by Kansei Ma style of training. He wasn't holding back in teaching him since it has already been stated multiple times that his talent is his downfall. Kansei Ma had taught genius and similar talented individuals before but none had the talent for Hard work.

'His tenacious fellow. He is following my teaching and keeps powering through them. A talent for Hard Work is about to blossom inside him. Kenichi isn't far, he is also talented of Hard work more than Haruto.'

He rubbed his chinned glancing over to where Akisame had been teaching Kenichi and was on the ground exhausted. He was not as battered compared to Haruto but both were on the brink of passing out.

'Taking hits and getting back up is a talent in itself.' Kansei thought while looking at Kenichi and Haruto comparing the two. Haruto had Lala wiping his sweat where her fiancee was enjoying the attention while Kansei Ma was tempted to do some perverted things but was currently chained up by Shigure.

She had been learning from her classmate on how to be a good woman towards the person she likes. Haruto lets her be as long as she's happy while Miu also helps by bringing them some drinks to freshen up. After their training, Haruto, Kenichi and Lala head back home saying goodbye to Miu.

"My body is so sore…will I really get strong by doing this?" Kenichi doubted himself once again and Haruto placed his hand on his shoulder then said.

"Focus on the training and everything will eventually fall to pieces. Do you think a seed can grow into a tree within a span of a day?" Haruto said to him and Kenichi paused thinking about his gardening skill.

"Kenichi think of yourself as the seed and our sensei being the gardener as they cultivate us into mighty and sturdy three that can withstand any obstacle be it a raging tempest or violent shaking of the world." Haruto gave him some advice and this got him to think again. He decided to be quiet and finally arrive home where Honoka went to greet them.

"Haruto-Nii!? Why do you always come with injuries all over your body? Why are the boobs there letting you get hurt!?" Honoka asked, seeing his face filled with cuts and bruises having been patched up by Akisame.

"Because I want to get stronger. Don't worry, Lala has been taking good care of me. Well, I'll come by next time and we can play some games." Haruto said, patting her head and she nodded still glaring at Lala who was just smiling.

"Okay." Honoka said as Haruto and Lala head back home as they would do the usual routine with taking a bath together that Mikan sometimes joins and usually socially exhausted Rito.

The next day, Haruto went to do his usual routine but this time was on the pull arm bar where he did some curl ups upside down. His recovery was insane and this was all thanks to [ Spiral Powers ].

'Let's use the summoning contract and see what it can do.'

[ Description: A mutual summoning type where the summoned will be rewarded for assisting the summoner and can be brought back and forth any time back to their home. Those summoned have the freedom to retaliate against their summoning if they are unwilling and the same applies to the summoner. Only through mutual agreement can it be permitted. ]

Haruto saw the description and nodded, finding it to be interesting hoping for someone who can also train him. He doesn't want to summon support since he is a battle junkie and prefers to face them alone.

'I need to use the summoning contract.'

He nodded at the reasonable reward and it can be used for training in the future. Haruto took out the contract that was shaped like a card where it was completely blank. A panel screen showed up asking him if he was going to it or not and without a second thought tap "Yes".

In the next moment, the card shone for a brief moment and afterwards revealed a mature woman with dark skin, a revealing leather outfit, rippling muscles, and full of scars all over her body. She wears an eye patch with a sculpted like face gives off a delinquent boss vibe. She completely feels like a female amazon warrior from some fantasy story. Also she has beast-like ears and a tail like a tiger's. Her fur is very thick.

[ You have acquired "Ghislaine Dedoldia Summoning Contract (???)" ]

Haruto's eyes widened in surprise seeing a character from Mushoku Tensei that was about a fantasy setting and popular genre of Isekai or another world. The character in particular is someone who is at the King rank of a Sword God Style. Haruto has Water God Style the counter for the sword god style but learning both would be useful since he would have both offense and defense.

In that world, the rank begins from Beginner, intermediate, Advanced, Saint, King, Emperor and God. There are only a couple of Saint Ranks while a King is even more scarce as it takes years to reach that kind of level.

"Guess I should summon her and see that people won't be coming until much later then it should be fine." Haruto can train with Ghislaine in the morning while also train in Ryozanpaku in the afternoon.

He is still waiting for Lala to finish being Lab and have his training room. Haruto doesn't plan on living in Ryozanpaku and perhaps Kenichi will since he doesn't want to leave Lala and Mikan behind but will spend time there at weekends.

He got off the pull out bar and stretched a bit before taking out the Bokken where it was quite sturdy in his opinion. Haruto felt like the information about the Water God Style flowed into him. Though, he is only at the beginner rank and can still defeat someone at the intermediate rank in the sword god style due to being weak against it.

Haruto then used the summoning card and the card disappeared then a mark on his hand appeared before disappearing placing a brand that gave them equal terms.

[ Summoner world and summoned world shall have time difference. Summoned character world time shall be only one day while summoner will be a week. When the summons is not in use, time is synchronized. Meaning both world time will be the same. ]

He was surprised by this and soon the person in the card appeared where Haruto instantly felt the overwhelming pressure and his craving for a strong opponent was screaming. Perhaps Shigure and Ghislaine would be evenly matched.

"Are you the one who summoned me?" Her sharp and mature tone went straight to action. She has a bit of a muscle-head but that doesn't mean she's dumb.

"Yes, my name is Haruto Yuuki." Haruto introduced himself while Ghislaine was closely observing him gauging his skills, especially the way he wields this word.

"Ghislaine Dedoldia, care to tell me where I am? From the last thing I saw was some sword of floating plack that said I will be rewarded by training someone." Ghislaine said and Haruto nodded.

"It's a bit of a long story and hard to grasp but this place is another world vastly different from yours. Can you tell me about the world while I tell mine?" Haruto said and the sword king looked at him as if he was insane but upon closer inspection could see that the place was different than she used to.

The two began to discuss their world and the difference that surprised Ghislaine and was astonished by what she learned. A world without magic yet a lot safer and better?

"It's hard to believe but this device seems like enough proof." Ghislaine looked at the mobile phone giving her some information about the world. She's interested in exploring the place and the time in her world is a lot slower therefore she can stay at least a few days and only a few hours would pass back in her world.

"Well then, we already wasted enough time. I can teach you what I can but in exchange teach me more about this world and if possible show me around along." Ghislaine said and Haruto nodded.

"Of course, but…your clothes might be distracting to some along with yours and tail but then again my fiance does have a tail and in another world as well." Haruto thought and Ghislaine tilted her head wondering what he meant.

"Anyway, can you tell me what you'll teach me?" Haruto asked and Ghislaine began to tell him the different kind of sword style. Where Sword God style focuses on Speed while Water God Style focuses on Defense and North God style focuses on adaptability and often fights dirty. She also explained the ranking of it.

"Oh is that it is? I got a chance to learn Water God Style but sadly it's only beginner level." Haruto said and Ghislaine was curious where he learned it.

"I'm not that well-versed in its teaching but I fought some practitioner before and impart what I've seen. Where did you happen to learn it?" Ghislaine asked and Haruto scratched his cheek.

"It's hard to explain but I got it by chance." He said and she didn't press any further.

"Alright then, let's begin your lesson. Hand me that sword." Ghislaine took the Bokken and Haruto looked at her as she began to showcase her skills.

"Follow my movement." She began to move and show how to use Sword God style where it was swift and didn't have much complicated movement. Haruto can see that it leaves her a lot of opening yet this speed and power she shows remove those downsides.

If it was any other guy then they would be ogling at her body and boxum but Haruto was fixated on learning the technique. He was mesmerized by her technique and movement.

[ You have acquired "Lv.1 Sword God Style(E)." ]

Haruto learned it rather easily and Ghislaine finished with the wind seeming to be sliced from her speed alone. She looked at Haruto who had been watching her closely.

"Why didn't you follow me?" Ghislaine asked and Haruto regained his senses.

"Ah, that's because I have an ability to copy techniques upon seeing them. " Haruto gave his honest answer and Ghislaine was curious by this claim.

"Then show me what I did earlier." Ghislaine instructed and Haruto nodded as he moved, taking a stance that was the sword king and was surprised by this. Haruto took a deep breath waiting for the opportunity as the leaves in the nearby tree fell immediately, did a quick draw and perfectly did the sword slash cutting cleanly to the leaf. Having seen Shigure do the same thing made it a lot easier to do.

'This kid…I didn't expect him to learn it on the first try. He might reach God Rank in a few years.' Ghislaine thought of analyzing Haruto's ability to copy the technique flawlessly lacking only in power and experience. Haruto did a few more slashes and sliced through even more leaves before Ghislaine stopped him as well as applying those understanding in combat.

"That's enough." He did as told and Ghislaine thought for a moment. She was impressed by his ability to copy her technique to near perfection only lacking in understanding the style. Knowing and understanding are two different things.

"From what you shone, it's clear you're a genius and won't take long to even surpass me. To what I gathered, you are at least close to Intermediate with only a little more training for you to reach it." Ghislaine saw the potential of Haruto and how much teaching him was worth.

"Let's spar and see how well you'll fare." She took a stance while Haruto could feel the pressure emanating from her and copied her stances. Haruto is unsure if he'll use swordsmanship that often since his preferred style is unarmed but it wouldn't hurt to have it.
