2 Chapter 2 - Unexpected meeting

It didn't take long for me to arrive home considering I was simply running circles until I found myself in the playground and felt rather invigorated from the experience. To be honest, I felt really hungry all of sudden. Probably because my body requires the nutrition to keep up with my growth. Everyone was still asleep and went to the bathroom.

My clothes were drenched in sweat and smelled horrible. I took some towels and had an extremely cold bath since I heard it is beneficial. I hesitated to take a dip but sucked it up and got inside since I much I hate it does have more benefits in the future.

"Gaaaaah! Fuck that's cold!"

I curse shivering at the sudden coldness but the next few seconds I felt liberated and my aching muscle faded away. Normally there would be an Ice to make it even colder but this is enough.

'What a turn of events.' I finally found some time to truly rest and have peace of mind as I leaned back in the bath thinking about how my world is supposed to be fictional and certain events are going to happen. I exist meaning certain events won't happen like cause and effect.

"Can't deny reality and "Whatever happens, happens" like my idol Spike Spiegel." He was an anime both in this world and from other memories. This is really stressing me out. I scrubbed all the dirt from my body, noticing my muscles seemed more noticeable than before. Obviously I wasn't jacked but it was enough for a noticeable difference if upon closer inspection. Few minutes later, I got out of the bath and headed to my room but surprisingly I met someone in the hallway.

"Onii-chan? You're up early." Before my eyes was a young girl that was both beautiful and cute that you wanted to protect her with all your heart. She has gold brown eyes and brown hair, along with petite body that was maturing.

My little sister, Mikan Yuuki, had been the one who mostly did all the housework. I can safely say that she would grow up to become a fine wife to her husband if she gets any since I won't hand her that easily! Ah yes, this is the reason why I need to train!

As her older brother I should prepare to beat all of those that try to date her! They first need to be stronger than me for that to happen! Yes!

"Onii-chan you're making the scary face again." I stopped as Mikan took me out of my thoughts.

"Sorry, I was just thinking about how you're growing and eventually people will ask you out and it's my job to protect you from bad boys. If they plan on asking you out then they have to go through me first." I said like I often do, showing a wide grin and Mikan was flustered by my words. Why is she blushing?

"What are you saying all of sudden? Anyway, you should get dressed first and I'll start preparing breakfast." She said as I scratched the back of my head.

"Hehehe alright, I'll head down to help once I'm done." I walked away not noticing that Mikan was eyeing on my body as she blushed once more then headed downstairs. Once I was in my room I began to find my school uniform taking only a couple of minutes to do.

'I need to get to school without being late.'

Wow that's much huh. Can't complain since it's easy money. I took my bags then head down stairs where I got to meet up with a young boy the same age as me but relatively smaller than I am with his eyes glimmering with kindness and friendliness. He has golden brown eyes and orange-brown hair.

My brother and supposed protagonist of this world, Yuuki Rito. I'm a bit scared since he did transform into a girl a couple of times. He won't have feelings for me if he transforms, right? Yeah, let's not think about that.

"Morning, Nii-san. You're up early." Rito said, noticing that I was already in my school uniform.

"Morning, freshen up then head downstairs." I said heading down to the kitchen where Mikan was currently wearing an apron and making some breakfast. She noticed me and greeted me.

"Take a seat, Onii-chan. This might take a while."

I nodded but instead of taking a seat went over to her, surprising Mikan.

"What are you doing? I can handle this."

"Nah, I want to help."

She tried to refute but reluctantly accepted as the two of us prepared our breakfast making sure to cook extra since I'm really hungry.

"Isn't that too much, Onii-chan?" Mikan was surprised to see the amount of food I was making. Normally, three of us are the only ones who have eaten as a family since our dad and mum aren't with us.

Our mother, Ringo Yuuki, is a fashion designer and is often out of the house. Our father, Saibai Yuuki, is a mangaka and is often forced to sleep in his studio because of deadlines.

"I don't know but I'm extra hungry today. I went jog around the neighborhood earlier."

"You went for a jog? That's unusual, did something happen?"

Mikan was too perceptive and mature for her age! What the hell am I supposed to be the big brother here!?

"Hey, don't look at me like that!? I just thought as your older brother, I should be a bit more reliable and strong." It wasn't a lie and the current reason why I'm doing those things that I normally won't ever do.

Soon, Rito finished freshening up and we soon ate then went to school. Halfway there, Mikan parted away from us because the way to Elementary school was different than High School. As Rito and I continuously approached the school, I thought of confirming something.

"Hey, Rito." I asked for his attention with my hands at the back of my head.

"Yes, Nii-san?"

"When are you planning on confessing to your Haruna-chan?"

"W-what?"

"You know how you failed numerous times before, so I just wanted to know when you are going to try your luck next time."

"T-Today, I plan on confessing to her today."

Rito said with eyes full of resolve, but I could only think about what was going to happen soon, and I smiled.

I patted Rito's shoulder. As her brother I fully support him and hope he does it on his own.

"Good luck then. If you need someone to talk with then I'm always here for you." I reminded her this made him smiled then nodded.

"Thanks Nii-san."

And so we continued our walk to school. Putting my thoughts on how my other memories weren't even Japanese making the place both new yet nostalgic. When I was lost in my thoughts, I suddenly found myself on the ground.

"Nii-san!" I heard Rito screamed out as I wanted to be hurt and merely baffled at what just happened.

"Eh!? So..sorry, my body reacted on its own!" A female voice was heard as I returned to my senses and looked at the person and my eyes widened at what I saw. It was a young girl around the same age as us having a slender fair-skinned young teenage girl of average height who is consistently viewed as very pretty and attractive with hip-length blonde hair that has short bangs, bright blue eyes and a beauty mark under her left eye.

What the fuck!? Wait!? Isn't she Miu Furinji!? What's going on!? Isn't this supposed to be that series called To Love Ru about my brother!? Oh God! Does this mean our world has more of those fictional worlds?

Wait, isn't this good!? I can copy their martial arts and trian under them! Though, this changes things for what the future holds! Now that I think about….fuck why did I just remember it now!? Kenichi Shirahama was my classmate and close friend of Rito! Okay, stay calm! Panicking won't do anything good.

"It's fine, I'm just a bit shaken but were you trying to kill someone." I asked to see the klutz of a girl and it reminded me of Lala as both are similar. If by chance the events of To love Ru happens then I'll make them friends since from the memory I have the young girl before me simply wanted a friend.

"Ah, Sorry…but, if somebody suddenly appeared behind you, it's normal to throw them, right?"

'What's wrong with this girl.' Rito thought as I was shaking my head.

"Next time, try to check if they have bad intentions or not. What if I'm a frail old man? Wouldn't that be bad?" I scolded her a bit since it isn't an excuse to simply use a move like that on someone, it's dangerous. She understood what I was trying to say and nodded.

"You're right! Thank you for telling me." The young girl said while I smiled, finding her really cute.

"You're welcome, Anyway, I can see you have the female uniform of our school, I'm Haruto Yuuki or Haruto since I don't care about honorifics and this is my brother" I introduce myself since knowing how lonely the girl is, I don't mind befriending her and my consciousness won't allow me to let a girl like her be sad. This is simply good karma on my part.

"Hi, I'm Rito Yuuki." His voice was a bit tense since he was obviously scared when I was on the ground.

"Really? My name is Miu Furinji and I'm actually a recent transfer! Hope we can get along." She cheerfully said that knowing people are simply envious of her talent that they try to make her feel insecure is the most pathetic thing in the world.

"Same here, why don't we head together? I can give a few things about the school." I suggested and her face seemed to lit up. Poor girl. I wonder how long she has been alone. If this happens to my little sister then I would be pissed.

"That would be great! Can…Can we be friends?" Goodness gracious, my eyes getting blinded by her cuteness. Normally I would be fixated by her body but I could care less about that. Not everything is about boobs or ass, being a man of culture is to be someone who understands and appreciates things, the beauty of a woman is part of it.

"Sure thing!" I said with a bright smile.

"Finally I have a friend." She beams with joy as we head to school together with her being on my right side and Rito on my left side.

"By the way, what class are you in?" I asked if Kenichi is my classmate then she is likely going to be my classmate.

"I believe I'm at class 1-A." She put her index finger on her lips thinking about her new class.

"Oh, it seems we're going to be classmates." I felt glad she was since I could at least supervise her a bit since I know she lacks common social skills. Is my brotherly instinct kicking in? Probably.

"Woah, that makes me happy that not only are you my friend but also going to be my classmate!" Miu cheerfully said and continued to move our way to our school.

"Is there anything you want to know about our school?" I asked since I can give her advice in certain areas.

"Well…I got a lot of things I want to ask. Does this school have an aerobatics club?"

"Yeah, are you interested in joining?"

"That's right, I always wanted to learn sports that's more feminine. How about you two? What club are you part of?" She asked while I thought about it and shook my head.

"Currently no, how about you, Rito? Did you join a club?"

"Now you notice me…." I couldn't hear what he said but didn't care.

"Well, like you Nii-san, I don't have one and I'm not planning to."

"I see, I'm thinking about joining either Karate Club or Kendo Club. I heard Kenichi is planning on joining." I mentioned our friend who one way or another needs some personal training.

"That's surprising, Nii-san. Why the sudden interest?"

"No particular reason. I just thought of doing something new and learning to fight in order to protect you and Mikan-chan would be great."

I answered but Truth it was in case Lala's fiancee candidate were to arrive then I can at least fight them. Miu looked at me with something in her mind. Is that admiration? Maybe. I'm not that great at reading people.

"I see…you want to learn Martial arts?"
