Chapter 10 - Pest

The day was rather dull considering everything was normal until lunch break when me and Miu were heading for some lunch as Kenichi had somewhere to go while Rito went to try and confess with Haruna. Doubt he'll succeed but I'll have some faith in you brother. I wonder where Kenichi is going? Maybe check the Gardening Club since his interest in it.

We were on the roof having our lunch and I'm glad there was some miso soup left since I like soup base meals, especially mixing it with rice. I also like Okayu, a rice porridge.

"I've been meaning to ask but…why are you wearing Fake glasses?" I asked and she fell quiet for a moment that made me feel kind of guilty. I don't like to hurt a girl's feelings, especially someone as honest as Miu is.

"To tell you the truth..I don't have any friends at my old school." Miu only answered because she didn't want me hating her for keeping it a secret. I wonder if I could go to her school and beat them all up!? Yeah nah, Miu wouldn't like that.

"One day when I was wondering about it….a nice person told me…that I stand out from the crowd too much." Yeah whoever said that belongs in this street! That person

"So now…at this school. I'm wearing glasses now so that I would…look like a normal student." I need to help her be herself again. Jeez I'm not good at this but I'll just be honest with her.

"Whoever said that to you is probably jealous of you. Though, I think you're cute with the glasses but you don't have to be someone else that you're not just for others to like you." I said, making her look at me affected by my words but was a bit confused.

"Why do you say that Haruto?"

I stopped laughing with his right hand and started petting her head. I took my face close towards Miu and said.

"Because that nice person you are talking about wasn't a nice person instead he was a jealous person who was jealous of your beauty and your character and who knows maybe it was that person who made you so that you can't make any friends in your old school." She's too damn innocent and going to make sure she has reliable friends by her side.

"But why would someone do that just because of jealousy?"

"Jealousy is a dangerous thing, Miu. it can make people do anything, but you don't have to worry now that I am here you won't ever feel lonely."

I smiled seeing Miu also smiled a little. The mood between us was very good but then we heard the door bust open turning around to find a delinquent looking guy.

"Are you Haruto Yuuki?"

"Depends who's asking." I said as he grinned, cracking his fist.

"I'm Saizō Tsukuba and I heard you beat up the Karate Club that made them quit altogether. I want to see if the rumors are true or not." Wait, how did they know? Fuck that son of Bitch, Haruo! I swear I'll return to whatever planet he belongs to. I think lala would help me with that. Then again it's just a matter of time until he finds out and more fighters wants to fight me.

"Can't we do this later? Can't you see I'm having a lovely time with a girl?" I stood up in front of him showing that I wasn't the least bit scared. Miu intently watched the scene unfold having seen me fight and knew I had a firm grasp of the situation.

"Ha you guys but this will all be over soon!" He said and tried to attack me by sending a straight punch but this is his mistake in attacking me allowing me to utilize [ Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist ] and redirect his attack and immediately performed three combo Seiken.

'I need to win against Tsukuba.'

It was a weak but precise punch enough to make him stagger and enjoyed that I was willing to fight.

"Good, you're worth fighting unlike the weakling I've been beating." He said taking a stance while taking deep breath glancing over to Miu.

"Sorry, Miu, I'll make this quick and continue our break." I said as Tsukuba used the opportunity to close in the distance between us.

"Stop talking and more fi—" Before he could finish and land his sidekick towards my head ducked down and landed a power kick straight to his chest since he was bigger than me, sending him into the fences.

"Attack me first is your first mistake." I don't initiate the attack and prefer if my enemy does it for me since I can analyze them using [ Foresight ] and copy their martial arts. Giving no chance of getting back send a series of punches that precisely hit his weak points.

My attack put him down as he's unable to keep up with my attacks. He was tough but my unrelenting attack was overwhelming even if he dodges and counters I can easily intercept and counter. Combining [ Tachypsychia ], [ Foresight ] and [ Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist ] made my technique higher than what it ranks. He fell into the ground once I was done and turned to face Miu who was happy to see him win.

"Are you okay, Haruto?"

"I'm fine, hmm, he's still alive." Though I like to fight doesn't mean I want to commit murder. I didn't notice that Miu appreciated that I was concerned for the safety of my opponent. The thought of killing someone does give a bad taste in my mouth.

Wait I beat him….doesn't mean I have to fight Ragnarok? Seems fun, I guess. Hope they're strong as the new memories have shone on me. The fight was finally over and the bell rang as we headed back to our classroom.

The next day at school was once again dull. Lala came back home with a beautiful smile. She said that she had a surprise for me tomorrow but wouldn't say what it was.

I introduced her to Mikan and Rito.

With Lala moving in, our house became more lively. The next day at school the teacher wanted to introduce a transfer student. It was, of course, Lala. But before our old and already balding teacher could do an introduction, Lala was already one step ahead.

"Yoo hoo, Haruto!! Now I'm a student at this school too!" Lala waited at me while I smiled back as Miu saw Lala and somewhat reminded herself. The two were kindred spirits as bth are transfer students.

"Do you know Haruto?" One of the students said the next thing she said would certainly shock them.

"Yes, we are engaged, and we are living together." Suck it, virgins!

"WHAT!!?" I saw an aura of all male students flare up at her answer while I shrugged it off and gave them a smug smile that made them bleed in tears.

"Everyone settle down. Class is about to start. You can sit next to Haruto." The teacher called me by my first name to avoid confusion since Rito is my classmate and we share the same last name. Right, on my left was Miu and now my right will have Lala. In front of me was Kenichi and in my back was Rito.

Frankly, Lala wasn't that educated in Japanese and other subjects but far surpasses everyone in mathematics. She's a supernatural genius. Hmmm, Miu is a martial art genius and Lala is a tech genius. The Yin and Yang huh. After class, the teacher told Haruna to take Lala around like she did with Miu.

"Can I join you two?" Miu asked them if they wanted to make friends and the two didn't mind. Hope they get along and go with Rito and Kenichi to have our lunch for the day. When I finished eating, I went to check something before heading back to our class.

I went in the direction of the PE teacher, Sasuga. Fortunately for me, he was alone in the gym storage. I could deal with him immediately. I closed the door behind me, making a loud sound on purpose.

"Who is that? Ah, it's just you, Haruto. How can I help you?"

"By getting off your alien ass off this place." I said and 'Sasuga' looked shocked at my answer.

"What do you mean Haruto. If I did something to offend you, we could talk this through."

"Stop pretending already. I know who you are and why you're here, so drop the act."

"So you saw through my disguise. Impressive for an Earthling. I can see why you are Lala's fiance, but it will be me, Ghii Bree, who will marry her and become the successor of king Deviluke. I planned to capture one of your classmates before we meet like that, but oh well. HAAAAAAH!!!"

Ghii Bree changed his form before my eyes became more grotesque. His long tongue was hanging outside his mouth. He looked somehow reptilian in a sense, His skin was dark blue, and he had round purple eyes.

I didn't mind his appearance and started approaching him, which startled him slightly. He again transformed into a more masculine version of himself, but I didn't stop my steps.

He tried to scare me, but he was the scared one. Backing away from me, he tripped and became a miniature version of himself. Frankly I would get scared if it weren't for my sudden change and memories. Suddenly I felt something around my neck and two soft things at my back.

"I finally found you!! What are you hiding in such a place?" She then looked at the unconscious body of Ghii Bree.

"Eh... Uhm... Ghii Bree!? Why is he here?"

"He wanted to marry you without your consent and become king Deviluke's successor. And then he tripped. What should we do with him?"

"Hrmmm." Lala took out a device that looked like a toilet and flushed Ghii Bree down, but before she said.

"Don't you ever come to Earth anymore, Ghii Bree!!" After that, our school day went normal and soon the class ended and I met up with Zastin.

"Haruto, I brought you a direct message from Lala-sama's father, King Deviluke. He's a great person who united the war-torn universe and stood at its zenith. Well then... listen carefully." He held in his hand a device that seemed for communicating.

"...Hey, Haruto Yuuki. I've heard Zastin's story, and therefore I shall approve of you as one of Lala's fiances." His voice seems scary but hey I know for fact he's a small kid at the moment. Then again his power level is quite high even at a weakened state.

"I heard Earthlings are rather puny, but then again, I heard that you could dodge Zastin's attack and even overpower him, and you're the first guy Lala has ever favored. I'll be looking forward to... seeing your capabilities. Listen, I will eventually decide when the 'marriage ceremony' will be held, so until then, try your best to protect Lala." Well this skirt chasing bastard really can't wait to step down. Whatever, I should focus on getting stronger and hope for the best.

Afterwards, I met with the others and headed home where I saw Lala getting along with Miu as the two shared similar personalities, lacking common sense. We soon parted and arrived home.

"This soup tastes so good!" Lala complimented the dish as we have another Miso Soup! Thank you Kami!

"It's a miso soup with clams." Mikan said happy hearing her compliments

"I see! Earthling food is delicious, isn't it, Mikan?" I wonder if I've really started to fall for Lala. I can't find any flaws besides her invention not working properly.

"Tsk tsk, it's not that, Lala-san. It's the cook's skill."

Lala and Mikan talked about Earth's cuisine and cooking, but someone at the table didn't listen to even a word as he was deep in his thoughts.

"Sigh..." We heard Rito sigh and turned to look at him.

"What is it, Rito girl problems?" This made him choked on rice, so I handed him water. He hurriedly drank it.

"...Thanks"

"So, what were you thinking about?"

"It's just... everything moves so fast and in a strange direction. You suddenly have a fiancee, she is an alien, and we already treat her like family. Don't you think it's at least a little bizarre?" True, I wonder why people haven't asked about her tail?

"Eh? Who cares? She looks human and speaks our language. There are only the three of us here anyway, so we have enough room for her. And after Lala-san showed up, everything became brighter and cheerful, I'm happy." Mikan said welcoming Lala with open arms. Rito then turned his head to me.

"Aren't you being forced into this engagement? You are just 15 years old." What's wrong with that? It's not like I'm some slimy late twenty man in a young body? The new memories don't count.

"Who, me? I'm not being forced or anything like that. Lala is an interesting girl, and spending time with her is fun."

"...Am I the strange one here?" He started drinking water once again. While we were talking, Lala went out for a moment and returned with a towel from the bathroom.

"Haruto~ We've had dinner? so let's take a bath together!" Hearing that, Rito spat out the water from his mouth, but I didn't bother checking on him this time.
