5 Chapter 5 - Victoria's POV

"There you are little one." I heard a voice say. He sounded happy and relieved that I was at the bay window. I opened my eyes and saw Leo with Tristian. Both looked happy to see me. Why was they so happy? What was going on here? "Well, we need to go out today but Tristian's girlfriend is going to look after you. She's human like you don't worry." Leo said and Tristian dragged Leo out of the room. A few minutes later a girl who looked around my age came in. Her hair was a silky black with light brown eyes. Her skin was fair with a light tan. She was beautiful and walked around like she owned the place. She had the perfect body. The right sized breasts with the perfect stomach, not to big and not too small either. No wonder she has a boyfriend like Tristian. "Hi, I'm Annie, I was told to look after you." She said smiling. I haven't talked to someone my age in years. I only went to primary school and then I was home schooled until the wolves took me. I didn't know what to do or say. So I just waved at her. She gave me a tray with a bacon sandwich on it. I ate it whilst she looked around the room. She sighed when she went in the wardrobe and started saying that Leo didn't know how to treat girls. I watched her in amazement. She didn't care and kept going on about clothes shopping and how to get the boys back. She finally stopped and looked at me smiling. Once I had finished my sandwich, she took my hand and took me to the room opposite. It looked similar to the one I was in. it had the three doors and then the main door too. She chucked me some skinny jeans and a jumper top along with underwear to put on. I did and I sat down whilst she did my hair. She washed it first then cut off all the dead ends. My hair was a good few inches shorted but I liked it. Then she French plaited it. "What's your name?" Annie asked whilst doing my hair. Should I tell her? I mean she seemed nice enough but people can hide their true intensions. "How about this, I'll tell you my story and you tell me your name?" Annie asked. I thought about it for a moment. Then I nodded. So we sat down on her bed and I listened to her story. She told me that she was 18 and not long turned 18. She meet Tristian when she turned 16 and started collage. He was in his last year there in business classes. He took an instant liking to her and so they started to date. Nothing seemed out of the normal. Tristian then introduced her to Leo and all three got along great. Tristian and Annie started to go out and after about six months there was an accident. Annie told me that she was caught in a fire at her flat. There was no way out for her and Tristian came for her. He went through the fire and out again without any marks on him. The flat killed almost everyone during the fire. The world thinks that she is dead too. No one saw Tristian save her and she passed out shortly after. When she woke up she was in the hospital and there Tristian told her everything. For a while she hated him because she wanted to go back home. But once he told her that she was his Forever and explained what that was, she stayed after making a deal. The deal was she could still see her parents and contact them. Tristian agreed and that's why she stuck around. She said that soon she will also be a vampire so that her and Tristian can have kids. But she was still waiting for the right time. Then she looked at me. "Come on then, what's your name?" Annie finished. "Victoria." I replied. I knew I could trust her. maybe it was because she was also human like me. "What's your last name?"

"I don't have one, not anymore." I answered and looked at my hands. Knowing that I didn't want to talk about it anymore she pulled me into the mini kitchen in her room. She got ingredients to make pancakes and we made a whole plate of them. We watched Disney films and ate junk food for the whole day and fell asleep in the end. I was happy. I can't remember a time I was this happy. I loved being happy and I wish I could stay in this moment forever.

Waking up felt different. I didn't feel that scared or worried anymore. I was still scared and worried but a little less then when I woke up this morning. I saw Annie stretching and yawning as she woke up too. She checked her phone and told me the boys would be back in about five minutes. I started to panic. What if Leo was made that I was in here? What if they were angry at the mess we made? Or because of all the food we ate? Annie must have noticed me panicking because she told me that everything was going to be just fine. She squeezed my hand in reassurance. We cleaned the bedroom up a bit and by the time we had finished Leo and Tristian was standing in the door way. I instantly looked at the floor out of habit. Then I heard this annoying high pitched voice. Out of nowhere the girl who attacked me appeared and held Leo's arm like her life depended on it. I saw and for some reason I annoyed me a bit and I felt hurt. "Hey baby, let's go and relax for a bit in my room." She smirked at Leo. Leo looked annoyed and moved his arm away from her. "How about you Tristian, bored of the human yet?" She asked Tristian whilst looking at Annie. "Get lost slut, both of them are taken and you know it. Go cry to daddy because your whore act isn't working." Annie smiled. She said it in such a calm voice yet it was patronising at the same time. Huffing the girl stormed off moaning and shouting for her dad. The boys burst out laughing and so did Annie. The girl was called Cathy and she was the daughter of a noble man. He was one of the richest and oldest and got anything he wanted. Of cause his little girl also got whatever she wanted. She wanted to be queen and she would only get that by marrying the prince Lenard or as I know him, Leo. Leo refused countless times and she keeps trying. She does everything possible to tempt him including laying naked on his bed. All he does his chuck her out and ignore her. Everyone knows she's just after the power but with her dad they can't prove anything. So she got away with everything that she wanted. And she wanted everything.
