"Good Friends, Good Food, Good Times"

The two quietly followed Ray as they had a couple of thoughts to settle in their heads. Their enemy was six feet away from them and each had a history with each other's family. They both felt conflicted about each other and their friendship.

As the walk continued, so did the silence. While the Senju and Uchiha were settling their feelings in their head, Ray was thinking about how to cook the dishes well. He wanted to make it spicy as he loves it but he wasn't sure that they would too.

Soon, they reached his house and both Madara and Hashirama noticed that if they really had not focused while traveling, they just might have missed it. It blended in too well with the trees as if it was a part of it. The tree itself gave shade to the house to where it can reside in the darkness, hidden in plain sight. In general, one would not notice the house at all due to the allure of the beautiful forest.

It was a magnificent image of vibrant green leaves reflecting the sunlight as the gentle cool breeze and the earthy smell would let one feel the true happiness of nature. The seemingly rough bark of the trees had a smooth balanced texture to it with no bumps and the dancing flowers would be seen everywhere. Even some animals lived here peacefully.

The trio finally arrived at their destination and Ray opened his door. Inside the house contained three rooms. There was the living room, the kitchen, and the bathroom. It was somewhat modernized but with the lack of materials, it can be considered a hybrid of two eras.

The living room had a bed that was made of soft earth as the floor and cleaned animal fur as the bed itself. There was quite a bit of it as it looked inflated to the human eye. Normally the fur wouldn't just stay together but using soft earth and hard earth transition from [Earthbending], he used earth like a glue to hold the fur together. This was also applied to the leaf blanket he made for himself when he was cold at night. One could tell that the leaf blanket probably used all of the leaves of one tree in order to create it. Ray would usually use chakra to keep it 'alive' so that the leaves don't die so quick and become fragile.

The bathroom did not need many details except for the fact that it had a mirror, a sink, and a toilet for Ray, provided by the system.

In the kitchen, there were wood cabinets that were created by Ray, instructed by Eden on how to create it, which were used to hold his cooking tools and other ingredients he managed to gain in his hunting or buying from shops that he found. Other than that, it was pretty basic in general.

Ray casually walked to the kitchen and started cooking. He already had all the ingredients ready and it was time to cook it. The other two were amazed by how simple but elegant this household was. When they decided to sit on the bed, they realized how comfy it was. It was like being caressed by nature while peacefulness simply took you to another land. They dozed off.

Seeing that the boys were asleep, Ray chuckled.

Ray: 'At least they won't fight or bicker in the house. Anyways, back to the cooking.'

Ray was using a modern stove along with a large pot to cook for the first meal. Mixed mushroom soup requires a variety of mushrooms, vegetable/mushroom broth, herbs, and some other items. All of which are collected or substituted.

Using a knife, Ray first chopped some mushrooms that will be a part of the soup. Turning the stove on, Ray got the large pot and set it on the stove. While waiting for the stove to heat up a bit, Ray gathered the other ingredients. As soon as he realized that the stove had a good temperature, he put the broth in first. Letting it cook for a bit and then putting in the combine chopped mushrooms, shallots, tamari, and vinegar. Turning the high heat to low heat, he covered the pot and let it simmer. The goal was to soften the mushrooms and make it tender so it could simply melt in one's mouth.

Since he had time, he decided to start on the Sushi. Laying down the seaweed on the wooden board, he sets it down flat so it looked like a rectangle to him. He put the warm prepared rice on the seaweed until all parts were covered and then flips it so that now the seaweed is on the rice. Putting some thin-sliced cucumber on the seaweed and some long crusted shrimp, he then decided to roll the Sushi so that now it looks like a long cylinder with rice as the outer layer and the seaweed as the inner with cucumber and shrimp in the inside. Ray then put some white tuna on the rolls and used his hands to firmly shape the roll but not using so much force that he destroys the Sushi. After it has been shaped, one roll would become eight Sushis and since he made three, he had twenty-four Sushis. Then, he put some spicy mayo on top of them and used his [Firestyle Jutsu: Small Combustion] to replicate a torch using his fingers. With a light drizzle of sweet oyster sauce, the dish was done. Of course, he then decided to put the fish eggs on top the Sushis as well, giving it the last touch of decoration and more delicious flavor.

With the dish done, the golden glory that is now the Sushi shined like the Sun. Simply the light smell wafting from it almost made him crazy and with the mushroom dish done being simmered, his stomach was rebelling against him. Since the mushroom dish was almost a little too thick, he decided to add some broth to it to have it more in a liquid state and added some herbs in to enhance the flavor. He was slowly stirring the soup and when Eden notified him that it was done, he got three big wooden bowls and started pouring soup into each one. He decided to add some of the other mushrooms he did not add that was chakra enhanced and some of the other herbs. This enhancing let the mushrooms be its full glory without being cooked and contain maximum flavor. With all dishes done, Ray decided to wake the sleeping princes. Of course, he didn't even notice that they were awake and as soon as he turned around, all he felt was a gust that passed him. Ray was flabbergasted.

Ray: 'Their speed is ridiculous! So these are shinobi! Haha, this is going to be fun.'

"I already served them to you on the table. You may start eating."

Madara and Hashirama immediately went for their respective dishes. In Madara's case, as soon as he took a bite of the Sushi, he nearly passed out from happiness. The fishiness of this food was perfect and did not disgust him but rather it enhanced the flavor. Every chew brought out more and more and he thought that he actually was swimming with the fishes.

Hashirama, on the other hand, looked like he was ascending to Heaven. The satisfied smile on his face showed it all. In his case, the soup was mellow and nice. With its yellow shimmer, it really did look like gold. And the mushrooms. What is there to say? The mushrooms were bursting like bubbles in his mouth and the different variety of mushrooms helped each other rather than clash. Every spoonful was luxurious to him and he treated it like treasure.

Ray smirked watching this scene. An Uchiha and a Senju eating lunch with smiles on their faces. If only he had a phone to send some pictures to their clans.

Ray: "If you are done with your food, come outside after putting the dishes in the kitchen. I want to know my friends a little more.", Ray said with a small smile as he walked out. They both nodded and quietly continued to eat without shame.

Ray did not want to eat it because he had some other plans for lunch. Looking around and making sure no one was around, Ray asked Eden to open the inventory and take out the egg dish. So far only food items can go in the inventory but it is still very useful. Looking at the masterpiece in his hands, he almost felt like he was committing a sin, thinking about eating this dish. This was the God-Tiered Egg-Fried Rice made by Yuan Zhou.
