217 Immortality or Eternity First Half

As far as history goes, there are people who seek immortality to preserve their own life, legacy and live forever. Although no one has achieved the feat of obtaining "immortality", there are some who almost managed to get it and experienced the feeling of being an immortal. At first, it is a pleasant experience but as time goes by, the only thing that they wish for is their death. Since they are immortal, they can just disregard things that would cause them to die. However, they realized that immortality is not a blessing but a curse, a curse of seeing everyone around you die one by one. A curse that will eventually make you live alone in this world, all of your friends and family passed away by the time they reached the peak of their lives while you remain stuck in your time, not even moving forward.
