8 8. 4 year timeskip and Attack on Himejima Household

4 years have passed after the training montage. Now they are 8 years old and living life as a student. Vergil is slowly regaining his full powers. He can now control his full body down to the dot. His swordsmanship and martial arts are at the top already, he just needs his physical body to mature and adjust to the said moves. He can use his full power for 15 minutes straight before running out of juice.

Azazel has been helping me in controlling my demonic powers, when I unconsciously enters devil trigger state while meditating, Azazel will knock me out of my meditative state and repeat. I also told him a bit about Yamato, he treated it as sacred gear and asked me if he can examine it. I agreed, its not like i'll lose anything just by him examining it, I still have force edge and rebellion, as well as beowulf.

The trio also got closer as friends, Akeno and Mayumi are bonding well while pulling Vergil into the fray. Their friendship is moving slowly, Mayumi shared her secrets as well as Akeno, Mayumi told us that she is a mage and showed us her CAD.

I was shocked not because of her being a mage but by the CAD. 'If a CAD is here, are there any characters from that series into here as well? Who knows.'. Akeno also told us that she is a hybrid fallen angel and showed her lightning power, they then looked at me and I kept reading my book and never responding from them. 'Jiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii~'. I sighed in my mind, I told them that I'm a master swordsman. I don't want to risk telling them I'm a hybrid demon, as it will only endanger them.

They didn't look like they didn't believe me so I showed a little trick, I picked up a a tree branch and a paper. I coated the tree branch with the thinnest demonic energy I can wrap the tree branch in and split the paper in two using the tree branch. Their jaws dropped and I looked at them smugly before being pinned down to the ground asking me how did I do it.

Days like that passed by. We were just enjoying our playtime in the Himejima household when a scroll appeared in my mind.

I was shocked and my mind immediately spun and activated my Thought Acceleration for the past few years my thought acceleration is getting faster and faster to search for a way to solve the problem. I got 5 ways on how to complete it but I chose the one who'll benefit me most which is to annihilate all attackers while taking out Mayumi from the soon to be battlefield.

I looked at the two and I immediately wrote something in the paper. They asked me what I wrote in the paper but I ignored the two as I threw it to the elder watching us making him pale as what I wrote was to 'take away Mayumi from here, this place will soon be a battlefield' as I sensed fallen angels. I then tapped Akeno and Mayumi's hands, they looked at me and this is the first time they saw me with a really serious expression.

"Akeno, I need you to go back to the shrine and find your mother and wait for me there, As for you Mayumi you should go home right now."

"Why will I go home when you'll be with Akeno?" Mayumi complained

"Mayumi, just listen to me just this once okay? Don't worry someone will pick you up." As soon as I said that the elderly man came into view.

"Young miss we should go now. The place is getting dangerous. I thank you, young man for the warning." Mayumi looked at us with worried expression before the elder took her away.

"Akeno, I said go to the shrine why are you still here!?" I shouted to Akeno who was rooted into place.

She was about to run when a fallen angel cut off the path to the shrine.

"What do I find here? Two damnable creature? One has the scent of a hybrid fallen and a human? As for the other, your stench stinks."

"Hey! I took a bath before going here!" I shouted as he seemed to smell my demon blood. This fallen angel should be a sensor type to smell my concealed demonic heritage.

I also sensed another figure way up in the sky, watching us or more accurately Akeno.

"Anyway you'll be dying here, you two as well as your damnable mother in the shrine I'm sure your patriarch is on the way there." Sh*t I need to finish this quick, I summoned Yamato surprising the figure watching, the fallen angel, and Akeno.

The fallen angel charged at us and I simply cut his neck and dragged Akeno who is in a daze, I also narrowed my eyes at the person watching us just now. "Akeno, I will cast a spell to you so that you won't hear anything, so close your eyes and cover it with your hands and under any circumstances, don't open it and remove your hands." I then used my demonic energy to make a mini barrier and used it to shield her ears.

We soon reached the shrine with me killing the Himejima clansmen and fallen angels. I sensed that the patriarch is already inside and about to stab Shuri, I then positioned myself into judgement cut. I unleashed it at the patriarch who sensed danger but was not able to dodge it as it was too fast. Barrage of cuts ravaged his body and fell down.

Akeno is wondering what is happening, but I ignored her and carried her inside the shrine.

"Akeno you can open your eyes now" I put the corpse of the patriarch in the inventory before Akeno sees it.

She saw her mother crying hard and Akeno's asking where her father is. Shuri didn't answer her making Akeno angry.

I stood guard at the entrance and soon batch by batch of Himejima clansmen and Fallen Angel stormed in but I used force edge and summoned swords not caring if people are watching or not. I'll overpower them sooner or later. I launched waves and waves of astral swords to the enemies. When the siege was over, I threw the patriarch's body into the mix. I then got back inside and saw the two hugging each other and Akeno sleeping.

"Its me, their siege is done. What are you planning to do now?" I asked Shuri

"I've called a friend of mine and she'll be here sooner or later." 'So her 'friend' watched as Shuri was about to be stabbed. What a nice friend, Well its their business.'

A minute later a silver haired person wearing a french maid outfit came inside the shrine. She rushed and checked the condition of Shuri and Akeno. She then faced me and asked a question.

"Who are you?" she said in a cold voice

'Heh~ you want to watch Shuri die so you can make Akeno loyal to her king huh?'

"Aren't you being rude? You watch the battle above and chose to do nothing and then you came in barging here checking their condition and you dare ask who I am like I'm the one who made a move against them?" The silver haired maid flinched but decided to push me further

"I said who are you and what are those powers of yours?" 'this girl I already told her about being rude, isn't politeness the first thing a maid should learn?'

"Heh~ Who are you for me to tell you what my powers are? You may think you are strong but in my eyes-" one of my eye turned to ouroboros eye and stared at her. "You are nothing." I unleashed my concealed demonic power making her shiver in fear.

Deep condensed demonic power covered the house, sealing the space making sure that she cannot use magic circle to teleport out. I'm sure she realized what just happened right now and was now fearing for her life as well. Shuri then stood up and stand between me and the maid.

"Enough, Vergil. I was the one who called her here, don't be rude to my guest." She mustered her courage to speak up.

"I see." it was all I've said

"I-I Apologize for my behaviour, my friend over here contacted me with a magic circle and asked me to save her."

I ignored her and asked Shuri what their plans are.

"We'll go to underworld under the protection of the Gremory Family." she said

"I see that you've made up your mind. I should get going." before leaving, I turned around to face the maid.

"Should any mishap happen to the two in your protection, I swear I will wipe your family and the underworld will lose another big shot family. It is not a threat miss, I will surely do it. Not even the devil kings can protect you."

I then walked out leaving a dumbfounded duo and a sleeping Akeno. I also left a small crumpled note in her pocket.

I walked down the hill and found the sealed area barrier was now destroyed. I was in deep thought while walking. I then stopped and gave one last look at the burning shrine as a poem popped in my mind.

I sighed for the final time and started walking home.
