16 15. Summons Part 2 (Updated author's note)

After berating Griffon, I then set his matters aside. 'I'll just pay Uncle Azazel with another artwork of mine.'

I then noticed Saeko looking at us, smiling. I then approached her and told her about the common factions in this world. She understood that a human like her would be at a massive disadvantage.

I told her not to worry as I know some people who could hold his/her own ground while still being human.(Adam from Records of Ragnarok, the father of humanity XD)

She nodded and sat down beside Pantera and caressed its fur. Pantera played along with her and kept her busy.

I then decided to save the C-rank ticket for the last so I picked the B-rank ticket. A white orb once again appeared in front of me, I was about to grab the orb when it transformed once again.

A silhouette once again showed that this one is a girl once again, when the orb dissipated, an extremely beautiful young woman the same age as me with glossy blonde hair that covers one side of her face and is usually tied in a bun and forest green eyes. She is carrying a parasol which is her weapon.

Saeko also noticed her but decided to dote on Pantera rather than focus on the girl. She then kneeled and said.

"Hildegarde, at your service young master." Hildegarde or Hilda said to me.

"Stand up Hildegarde, its fine to call you Hilda right?" I asked her

"Anything for you, Young master." she declared which made me flinch at their complete loyalty.

"Stop with the young master, just call me Vergil." I then introduced Hilda to Griffon and the others. Saeko noticed her parasol which asked the use of it, to which Hilda complied and showed her the blade hidden in the parasol that shocked Saeko.

I told Saeko about her history, vice versa, and was surprised that Hilda was also a demon and was down that only she has a massive disadvantage in this world. I patted her head and consoled her that lifted her mood at least a little. I can't do anything about it, it takes time for a person to train for it to be enough to survive in this world even if you are a genius.

I also noticed Hilda taking notice of Griffon. 'She wants to tame him?'. She then bonded with Griffon and boy, Griffon was elated. I was watching them bonding with each other and laughed hard at Hilda and Griffon's interaction.

"Finally, someone noticed my handsomeness, nobody appreciates my handsomeness!" Griffon exclaimed

"Oh, don't worry, comparing your face to the demon world's creature, you sure took the top." Hilda was talking about her world's demons and Griffon misunderstood

"See, Vergil, I told you I'm handsome." I shrugged and didn't speak anymore. I then focused in my inventory once more and used another B-rank ticket.

A white orb once again appeared and transformed, meaning its not an item. An elderly man of relatively tall height with a very strong and defined build. Two of his most distinguishing traits are his round glasses and facial hair, which is arranged embattled across his lower jaw. He also has a scar over his right eye, which he has had for many years.

"Greetings, young master." He said

I was still in a stunned state to see him here. 'Why would this guy be here? It was a B-rank ticket right? Why would someone on the level of SS or maybe SSS rank do here?'

As if understanding my thoughts the elderly man spoke.

"Young master, I'm done with fighting anymore, I just want to live the rest of my life and watch the new generation surpass the old." He said and I nodded

The man, Silvers Rayleigh's pressure was massive that Hilda raised her guard up, Rayleigh apologized and controlled his energy, making him look like a harmless old man. He then sat in the yard, accompanying Groc who went down from the tree to greet the newcomer.

Seeing them, I felt warm, not just because they are a family to me, but I finally have others that I can leave my back to, that there would be others who could cover should anyone screw up in a mission. I then went inside and took Azazel's whiskey bottle and threw it to Rayleigh who then sniffed what is inside it.

His eyes lit up when he smelled the contents inside even if its sealed and he cut the top off with his hand, he then sniffed and has fallen in love with it. He chugged the whiskey bottle and shivered at the taste, his hand trembling, he shouted.

"Young master! This stuff you gave me is so good!" I laughed at his antics, other than his wife, his love for alcohol is unmatched.

I left Rayleigh on his business and used another B-rank summon. Another orb appeared, but this time it didn't transform, meaning it was an item or some sort.

I grabbed the orb and what appeared was a book, I was confused as I can't open it yet. I then looked at the inventory to see the details of the book.

I was speechless, the lucky coin really did raise my luck. Now with this system, even a normal human being can have a chance to stand tooth and nail against supernatural beings.

The system only has the option to design the bloodline they will have which is, of course, a hybrid human and a demon. I then used the options to design their power, all of my peerage should have different devil triggers, according to their personalities. I also inputted that the way for them to tap into their sin devil trigger will be to fight their demons for supremacy, which I can do easily if I helped but I won't do that or they won't grow. I will use my master's method to use Yamato to separate them and let them fight then fuse them once again with Rebellion to make them grow overall, in terms of intuition, battle strategy, and reaction time.

I smiled because with this, Saeko can tap into her full potential. After confirming the changes, a white orb appeared and as I grab it, a bunch of tarrot cards and a red glass orb appeared in my hand.

I checked the tarrot cards in my hand, turns out it was the Major Arcana, and the design were the tarrot cards of Persona 5. Seems like Uncle Rayleigh also noticed the power this cards contain as he stopped drinking and looked at my direction, to be specific at the cards.

"That's an unusual cards you have there, young master." I didn't bother changing the way they address me for now, I will wait till all the summoning ticket are used so that I can only explain to them once.

"Yeah, these cards are an item that can make even a normal human fight with supernaturals in this world. They grant power to those who I deem worthy." I said

"Just like devil fruits that I know?" He asked

"Yes, but each card give different unique powers to the user. In this case, the more suitable the card given, the more power the user can harvest from the card itself. Its like devil fruit that can evolve and no drawbacks. It can also increase your vitality to even surpass the devils in their lifespan. How about it? Want to try it uncle?" I asked him which he declined.

"I'm done with the world of fighting young master, rather I would like to polish talents and diamonds in the rough, just like them."

This got the attention of the two they can only see his back as he chugged another swig of whiskey. Seeing nothing happening, they continued doing what they are doing.
