343 CHAPTER 343: Welcome Ourselves In?

All eight of them stood in front of the imperial prison with the miasma chaotically whirling around the building.

Stormie was already wearing Nixon's outer wear. And of course, he nagged at her about being hurt and not telling him.

If not for the battle ahead, he would have gotten far angrier. But knowing he needed to control himself, he chose to end it with a, 'If you get hurt this much again, I will not speak to you anymore.'

It may sound childish but the feeling of being unable to protect your beloved and not knowing that they were hurt, it hurts more than getting hurt yourself.

Saphira had already checked the inside with the light ability.

Those with solid forms could be seen as a shade of black, while the miasma surrounding it could be seen as a light shade of gray. That is the way she could see the inside using her light ability.

"There are only the two of them left. Two humans I mean," she informed the rest.

"But well, I suppose you all understood that this battle is much more complicated and difficult. Matching with the demonic beasts lurking around each floors and the demonic beasts that are on the same level as the mythological beasts…"

She chuckled, "Seriously, the greatest battle in history is about to come."

She looked at each of them, "Just that fight for your life. No matter what, don't jump in to save each other using your own bodies, I will surely follow you to the afterlife and bring you back here to kill you again if you are to die in such a way."

They all didn't know whether to laugh or cry at the way she was pointing things.

"I must add, I am quite serious with this. If you wish to die then don't die for others but instead die for your own sake. Don't go taking your last breath while leaving someone behind to mourn and feel guilty about it. But I will say this once again, I will bring you back here and kill you again if you are to die so pathetically."

She looked at each of them.

"You all are stronger than yourselves from the beginning. So believe that even if you were physically far, your abilities would surely reach each other. You all have options in this battle and surely all of it will lead you to winning."

After that she made them surround her, "Help me out with this."

They all stared at her blankly when she told them what her plan is.

She smiled, "Of course it won't stop Ardel or Raynisha from stepping out but it would stop more beasts from coming out."

She had told them that she will make another barrier surrounding the former imperial prison, the reason for their confusion.

"And since we are going to make this the final battle. Obviously, we will battle it all out without anyone or anything within this place to get out of here. We will wipe them all out."

They all smiled and agreed without hesitation.

"Very well, Nixon, Drake and Hunter. You three join me in battling against Raynisha and Ardel. We won't make any stop and would go straight to the lowest part of this prison. As for the rest of you, clean up the whole place."

No one questioned her instructions and once again agreed without hesitation.

She turned and faced the building once again.

She spread her arms wide and closed her eyes before clapping her hands together, when she opened them again in a manner like catching water with both her hands. The miasma that was chaotically circling the former imperial prison started being drawn to her hands, like a hole that appeared beneath a pool of water.

All the other seven were staring in shock towards her.

She kept surprising them all throughout this battle.

When all miasma was gone, they heard a roar coming from inside, deep within the ground.

Saphira smiled smugly hearing this roar, she knew he was already disturbed when she almost gave Raynisha a critical damage and the fact that Flora and Samuel are already down.

He was so confident with his people that he chose to attack, undermining all their efforts in improving themselves. And because of that, the battles went south from his plans.

"Can't you inform us first before doing something so out of this world?" Nixon complained.

Saphira laughed, "Out of this world? A world filled with magical abilities has a whole load of potential. Don't be shock by these things. There are more mysteries out there that no one could explain and would only pass as something normal because of that same reason."

The others rolled their eyes, Saphira seemed to be floating in happiness in this moment. They didn't know why this suddenly came to be but she looked like she can do so much more with the way she acts now.

And since she was filled with confidence, they couldn't help but feel the same way as her. That despite the dangers of this battle, they will be fine, they will win.

'Seriously, you are truly compatible with the light ability. I can tell for sure that even towards your predecessors, you have surpassed them by leaps and bounds,' Lily thought watching Saphira's influence towards everyone and everything.

"Now that the gate is open, shall we welcome ourselves in?" she turned to the building.

Meanwhile, down below.

Raynisha was standing on the side, her wounds healed while Ardel was taking out his anger on the things around him.

He didn't expect that Saphira would unlock things about the light ability that no one else have done.

Of course, he knew, he was certain of this for he had been aware of everything from the get go.

He was but a soul who took over Ardel's dead body but he was still the dark lord of the past, so he has more memories on the old light ability users.

And he knew them as people who were only strong in magical abilities but weak as a person. The reason why he was so sure of himself so what is it? Why is this one different?

He couldn't understand and that is what makes him angry.
