Chapter 3 MERCURY

The next day early in the morning around 4 o'clock am, stephanie woke up, she went to the parlor to watch a movie, she inserted an horror movie named countdown into the DVD and began to watch, the film was too scary for her to bear that she screamed which woke duncan up from his sleep, he was so annoyed and went to the parlor to know who was screaming

"Stephanie, what the hell is wrong with you, why are you screaming like a mad girl"

Duncan said furiously

"I'm sorry, it's this movie's fault"

Stephanie apologized

" whatever, you have already woken me up"

Duncan sat down and watched the movie with stephanie.

After two hours of watching the movie stephanie and duncan began to tremble of fear, their mother came into the room looking decent and ready to go to her workplace

"mom, where are you going"

Duncan asked still shaking

"I'm going to work, and by the way why are you guy shaking"

Mrs.talot replied

"what"

Stephanie shouted

"since when did you have a job"

Stephanie added, mrs.talot signed as she walked to them and held their hands

"understand me, if I don't get a job who will, since when your father died in the plane crash we have been surviving just with the saving I had, I need to get a job so that we can have money for survival"

Mrs.talot explained

"mom, don't worry, i will get a job"

Duncan commented

"no darling, I'm running late i have to go now"

Mrs.talot said as she exited the house

"I can't believe mom is getting a job, it all so fast"

Stephanie said as she ran into her room, Duncan did nothing but stared at her.

After fifty minutes stephanie stepped into her room looking neat and decent, she was not going anywhere but she just dressed up, she remembered her new installed game and quickly took her phone, she opened the game and immediately disappeared into it again.

[LOCATION :VENUS /MERCURY]

Ferry appeared to calyx and welcome her, he looked at calyx excitedly like he had never seen her before

"welcome calyx"

Ferry greeted, calyx said nothing but smiled

"you are in level one also known as mercury a planet of high level sun quantity, but as you can see there is no sun here"

Ferry said

"what happened"

Calyx asked

"the trident of sunset, has been stolen by an unknown creature unable to be found, the trident contain the power of the sun and without it there will be no sun but pure darkness"

Ferry answered

"how do i meet this creature and retrieve the trident"

Calyx asked, ferry smiled and flew toward her

"here is the map of mercury, it will guide you through out your journey"

Ferry said as he handed over the map to calyx, calyx stared at the map for a while and then kept it in her pocket

"okay, I think the journey begins here"

Calyx said and immediately ferry disappeared, calyx stared at the map for a moment and then began to walk towards a thick forest, she walked for miles from miles and finally to a mountain top as directed by the map

"what next"

Calyx said looking very weak, suddenly a hole appeared beneath her foot, calyx landed on a surface which some parts of it were covered with water that could not be looked at with the naked eyes

"who dare intrude into the den of si-da, the ultimate dragon of death and life"

A dragon known as si-da said

"I'm sorry for intruding"

Calyx apologized

"now leave my presence for i have spared your life"

Si-da said as he was impressed by the attitude of calyx

"please, can i take a nap for a while, please I beg of you, I'm very weak"

Calyx said and suddenly fell unconsciously.

A hour later, calyx woke up lying in a comfortable bed

"you blacked out"

Si-da said

"oh, I'm so sorry"

Calyx replied as she quickly stood up

"I'm so strong now"

Calyx thought

"I can reads minds, so mind what you say"

Si-da said smiling, calyx said nothing but chuckled, immediately a creature which was also a dragon appeared in the mountain underground, it was looking very death thirsty and was ready to slay anything for food

"si-da, I need food because i am very hungry"

The other dragon also known as Krishna said staring at si-da

"I have no food for you Krishna, so you should leave"

Si-da said boldly, Krishna took a quick glance at si-da and then smiled

"I can see that you no longer respect me"

Krishna said and was about to strike upon si-da but got stopped by a bone crushing attack which landed on his face making it bleed heavily

"who did that"

Krishna said looking at everywhere

"it was me"

Krishna heard a voice which was from calyx and furiously looked at calyx

"you brat, how dare you touch me with your stinking sword"

Krishna roared

"you have no right to touch si-da, she..."

Calyx said but was interrupted by si-da

"no calyx, you were not to interfere he will kill you"

Si-da said with a fearful look on her face

"I don't care but i protect my friend"

Calyx said and jumped toward krishna but was stopped by the hot fire which krishna breathed out of his mouth, calyx dodged it and due to this fell on the floor and groaned in pain, due to si-da compassionate heart she had no choice than to pull out a scale of her thick fireproof skin and placed it on calyx's skin, gradually the scale began to absorb into calyx body, after it had disappeared into calyx body she began to feel more strong and powerful, she immediately stood up in terror and looked at krishna with a wild smirk.

Before the blink of one's eyes, calyx attacked krishna and screamed in terror, krishna who attempted to breath out fire got iced and could no longer move, calyx gasped in surprise when she noticed that the ice was melting and krishna was getting free, it didn't take too long and krishna got free and breathed fire heavily upon calyx but it didn't affect her

"I gave her a piece of my scale, she is now fireproof"

Si-da said to krishna who looked at calyx in surprise

"how could you be so foolish?, how could you give out your scale?"

Krishna said in amazement and immediately poured out fires from his mouth towards calyx, calyx didn't move an inch from where she stood, the fire rained on her but she didn't burn, she smirked angrily and held her dagger which turned into a sword tightly, she jumped on krishna's neck and split it away from his body with her sword which was now covered in blood, suddenly krishna who laid dead on the ground began to transform into an object, si-da and calyx stared vigilantly as he transformed but calyx was relieved when he turned into a trident which was golden in color

"this must be the trident of sunset"

Calyx said as she walked toward it and picked it up, she began to celebrate herself and was interrupted when ferry appeared

"you have found the trident of sunset"

Ferry said with joy and took away the trident from calyx

"you have completed level two"

Ferry said and immediately him and calyx appeared in level three, calyx immediately tapped the yellow button on her wristwatch and disappeared

[LOCATION:STEPHANIE ROOM]

Stephanie sat on her bed for a while and then continued her normal life which turned out to be joyful and marvelous for her.
