2 Her Arrival

The tea is set and ready the maids waiting for the daughter of the supposed should-be heir of the Song empire.

An old man seats at the chair looking sadly at his tea. He never wanted to bury his son,Song Zhang, guilt is wrapping it's self around his body with the ' I wish I listened to him ' echoes in his head.

This started when he brought his current wife, who was his mistress before Zhang' s mother died and she had given him a son, Song Lu, the first day Zhang never trusted her he even warned him which he took as a joke. But now he can see the webs

He could almost here her 'cries' " Zhang's girl fell... She isn't b-breathing ... call the Ambulance! Call help!" He never questioned why she passed so many phones to tell him, or asked what happened before she fell.

" Sir... they are here?" His loyal guard whispered on near him before walking to the door.

Elder Song took a sip of the cool tea placing the cup in the tray , remembering the last conversation he had with Zhang " the queen will fall."

He could hear the door opening and the gentle clap of shoes with hush voices. They appeared in his eyes sight his eyes when straight to his granddaughter her eyes matching his with a bluish color, like the picture he got three years ago. She is beautiful her skin tanned and her hair tied in the back. Zulu Lin Song is like her mother.

Song Su turned to look at her grandfather she could see the recognition pass through his face with slightly happiness and emotion he hasn't shown her no matter how much she tried.

Her brother also complained about grandfather's distance it like something changed in the past two years.

Zu cried her first and only real cry when she saw her grandfather and ran to him like any unruly girl would do she hugs him tight " please tell me it's not true " she whispered in English.

Elder Song is shocked at first and then wrapped his arms around her brushing her hair gently " I am sorry but it is." He mutters " I have been wanting to meet you but not this way." He says in English

She cried " dad would have brought me here a month from now."

Elder Song smiles sadly " I know "
