31. Feelings

After Vegeta left and both of them were done thinking about what he said. The room was engulfed in a heavy silence. The silence was palpitating and rodent and Hulk were looking at each other carefully, contemplating on what he said further.

"Toshinori, what do you think about the boy? I have a suspicion that there is a traitor among us. There is nothing concrete but this possibility cannot be negated". Nezu said to AllMight with a heavy silence. He did not want to accuse his student but there was no other lead and he looked the most suspicious.

"Nezu, I know. What you are trying to imply. If what I have seen and heard enough to make conclusions on. Then Vegeta's chances of being a traitor is too low". AllMight said to Nezu with a heavy tone and there was certain conviction in his voice.

"How so Toshinori, Every thing we have right now. Even if not certain, points towards him. I know that we shouldn't be making conclusions so fast but we have to start somewhere". Nezu said to AllMight in a gloomy voice. Even he was feeling hurt from having suspicion on his own students. He was smart but there was just nothing to go on. Other than the statement that Vegeta said to them before he went away.

"But Nezu, if he was a villain. He would not have battled against Nomus. Even if he did, He would not go all out and would just stall. He even made sure to take care of the rest of the Villains". AllMight said, trying to make a sound argument on the established facts that they had.

"I know Toshinori, I know". With a sigh at the end, Nezu ended the conversation.

---With Vegeta---

I was sitting down with Momo and Nejire resting their heads on shoulders. All of us were just relaxing in the lobby watching T.V. for anything interesting. We were just looking for a good movie to watch. Getting fed up from not finding anything. I just put on a movie from the internet.

Momo was sitting close to me and I could see that she was not focusing on the T.V and was distracted. I know something was plaguing her mind. I decided to ask about it, after we finished relaxing a bit and got our emotions under control. i needed to cool off especially from that whole fiasco.

As we were resting on the couch. I think my parents heard about the incident and rushed home. Mom literally barged into the house shouting mine and Momo's name. She was probably really anxious about our safety. Dad looked more calm than her. He was worried, you could clearly see that from his face but he was trying to be a bit more rational and not start shouting as well. one person was enough for that role.

"OH, my precious babies. Are you guys alright?!", "Yeah, I heard that the school was infiltrated by Villains. We rushed home as soon as we got the news". Both Mom and Dad took us into a hug, even Nejire wasn't spared. They were really anxious about our safety. Mom didn't even give anymore time and suddenly started checking us out for any injuries.

"There is nothing to worry. They were just some weaklings faffing about there". I told them in a carefree tone trying to ease their worry with my words. When someone gives confident vibes, you cannot help but be swept up with it as well.

That's exactly what happened with them as well. Listening to my words they visibly relaxed and let go of their worries. "That's good, you guys are safe. That's all I need", "I agree with your mother". They said with visible relief in their faces and a small smile.

After talking with them a bit more. We all sat down again on the couches and continued watching the movie. Mom and Dad were sitting together with Mom laying her head on Dad's shoulder, same as us. We were enjoying the movie in a comfortable silence with only sound coming because of the movie.

After watching the movie, me, Momo and Nejire retired to our bedroom. As we were going to our bedroom. I saw Momo again having a frown on her face and looking visibly troubled by something. I think Nejire also noticed her unusual behaviour and she was also looking at Momo from time to time with worry.

"Momo, what is troubling you. Me and Nejire are here for you. If you have any problem discuss with us". I said to Momo as we laid down on the bed, I said to her in a soothing and calm voice. Nejire put her head on my shoulder from the other side and nodded as well.

Hearing us Momo said nothing at first and just looked at me and Nejire slowly. "Vegeta, I am so useless. I couldn't do anything significant during the Villain attack. I don't think, I deserve you". She said to us in a sad and a self deprecating smile. She probably got a major hit on her pride seeing me visibly in action today.

"Momo, you do know that you are not useless right. The so called strongest trio after me couldn't handle the Villains without visible injuries on them. I would say, you handled the situation much better than them. You handled the villains without getting hurt. So Be Proud of that fact". I said to Momo in a calm voice. I was trying to console her. But what I said was not wrong, it was all true. She handled those villains much better than the trio of Power-puff girls.

Hearing me, Momo had a small smile on her face. She was still a bit down but my words still restored some of her pride. Nejire looked at Momo thoughtfully from the side and after a bit of a while gave a naughty smile.

"Momo, I can tell from experience from my apprentice hero work that you are stronger than a lot of Pro-Heroes. Now enough with the gloom and doom. Let's gang up and squeeze this bad boy dry today". Hearing what she said at first, I nodded along but during the end her tone totally changed and she gave me a naughty smile while Momo a wink.

"Ufufufu, Let's squeeze him dry shall we". Momo hearing Nejire also got energised and entered her new Kinky side.

That night they once got to know who is the boss.
