2 The Art Of Seizing

The Art Of Seizing is a magic art based on stealing the souls of things you kill or at high levels taking the souls of living beings.

The art of seizing has 4 ranks I know of:

Rookie- enhancement, 1 link of the chain of fate

Novice-apparition forming, 10 links of the chain of fate

Amateur- true forming, 25 links of the chain of fate

Professional- unique forming, connecting, 100 links of the chain of fate

But back to the story

Being a rookie meant you could start being sent on missions, and me like most rookies were sent on dangerous missions to weed out the incapable.

So by the age of ten to 22 did missions and advanced in ranks until reaching the rank of professional and finally we get to the mission that got me thrown in a cell. I was sent as the leader of a team of amateur rank members. We were sent to brink back the soul of a emerald eyed bat.  It went like this...

We were meeting up at a canyon leading to the cave of the bat. I arrived to find two of my team members had shown up before me johnny a tall bronze colored thin man with blue eyes and black shaggy hair wearing leather armour sitting on a rock cleaning under his nails with a knife and jazy a blond haired medium height girl with green eyes with her hair tied back practicing archery. The two yet to arrive were David a broad man with light brown hair and blue eyes and Jen a tall thin woman with black hair and brown eyes.

After the last two arrive the team starts the trek to the bats cave. After a few hours pass before the silence is broken.

"So your a professional" Jen said,

"Yes"

"So could you identify this stone I found" said Jen as she took out a dark green storage gem

"I can try" said ash as she grabbed the gem
