"Somebody please help me" Screamed a Girlish voice faintly in the distance

"THEIRS NOBODY AROUND BUT YOU, ME, AND THE WOLVES" Said a Masculine voice loudly

"He's got that right at least" Ash said sarcastically

"But he should be more worried about the wolves then he is"

as Ash said this she rushed towards the direction of the scream

As ash quickly arrived on the scene to see a bulky man with short brown hair in a buzz cut holding a young girls hands above her head the girl looked about 14 with long black hair Blue eyes and a slight tan probably gained recently the man was wearing what looked like a military uniform and the girl was wearing rags

"They don't let us do anything like this

in the army so scream more so I enjoy it more" laughed the man

The girl realizing what he meant struggled even fiercer "No No please dont" she said as she struggled

Just as the man was about to continue he heard a growl as a shadow appeared at the edge of his vision, a very large shadow.

Just as he started to turn the shadow was upon him and he finally realized who or what his opponent was. A white wolf almost three times the size of a normal wolf was on top of him, teeth bared staring at him with cool crimson red eyes before he could react further the wolf bit towards his throat preparing to kill him in one strike. Even though he was a soldier and was at the common grade he was no match for the shewolf as his juggler was torn out along with most of his neck leaving him with only scraps to hold his head onto his body.

"Ahhh, Nice wolfie" said the girl nervously

Aww that's cute I did the same thing when I came face to face with my current visage she could be a little nicer to her savior she thought before she realized that she was a 7 foot tall wolf that just ripped off the soldiers neck.

"Its ok little one" Ash said as motherly as possible

"Pffttt" Lily tried to hold in her laugh at this but she didn't try that hard

"Shut it" Ash screamed towards her in her mind

"Wait you can talk" Said the girl in fearful curiosity, After all curiosity killed the cat why not her too

Oops forgot that talking animals were extremely rare before the great collapse

"Yes, and I bear you no ill intentions.

"Huh" the girl didn't know how to respond to this situation

It had gotten warmer as she had to run a good distance to make to the girl and there was a stream next to the trail.

" What is your name"

"J-J-Jenna" said Jenna

"Ok Jenna I'm Ashver but you can call me ash"

What followed these greetings was a few minutes of awkward silence and during this silence asked Lily some questions that she hadn't thought of before.

"Can you be seen by other people Lily"

"What do you want me all to yourself" Lily said both in a provocative and shocked way

Ash blushed as she said "Well can you"

"Only if you want me to be seen" Lily said ignoring Ashes blush

"Ok, that's good"

As this was said Jenna scardly asked "So what are you gonna do with me now"

Ash started to notice a smell at this point coming from Jenna

"Well first things first, Do you know how to swim" Ash asked

"Yes" Asked the confused Jenna

"Why" Asked jenny as she was grabbed by the back of her shirt, Jenna was struggling as she did so.

"Wha.." Jenna tried to say as Ash threw her into the nearby stream with a small splash.

Before Jenna surfaced Ash jumped in as well with a significantly larger splash.

"What was that for" Asked the angry Jenna before she remembered who she was talking to.

"You kinda stunk, and it hurt my sensitive nose" said ash as she rubbed her nose

"Ok" Jenna said non-commitedly

After they got out of the stream and dried off a heart up a fire and killed some common beasts to cook for the girl as it was starting to get dark.

"What direction is your home so I can bring you there tomorrow" Asked Ash

"Its just down this trail as me and my mother live in our home in the Town of Sinda" Jenna said

"Ahhh, how far down the trail"

"About a day and a half" said Jenna

"What, why were you out so far your mother must be worried sick about you"

"That's the reason I'm out here, my mothers sick and the only plants that can help come from the forest and they are too expensive to buy in the village." said Jenna gloomily
