Worried

Chapter 2

"I'm not that person, Mr. Zhang Yong, I'm just explaining something.." She said and run away from him. Just like before, she says nothing. She leave him alone, knowing nothing.

His heart filled with hurt and loathed. How can she be this selfish? He thought she's a good friend. But why?

"I'll make you see how this new Zhang Yong true colors is, Moew Moew. You changed, I changed too.." He wiped his tears and went to his car and went inside.

Mui Hue sighed as she arrived at the coffee shop. How will he face Zhang Yong again? Mei Xing is already there, his fake childhood friend. But Zhang Yong already finds Mei Xing, she's totally look like her, but not in attitude. How did Zhang Yong notice her if she disgust and totally different from her looks before?

"Did something happen there?" Avianna went to sit beside Mui Hue, who's in deeply thought.

"Nothing."

"You're such a terrible liar." She chuckled. "What just happened?"

"I'm already a manager." Avianna's face lightened up than before.

"Really?!" The chair almost fell down when Avianna stand up in shock.

"Yep, here's my name tag.." She takes her metal name tag and handed it to Avianna.

"Is this the reason boss called you?" Mui Hue tried to lie and keep it on herself.

"Yes..." She retorted, Avianna cheered and jumped happily than Mui Hue.

"Mui Hue..?" Avianna called. Interrupting Mui Hue while making coffee.

"Yes?" She retorted without looking at her and focused on what she's doing.

"There's someone looking at you in that table." She said, Mui Hue furrowed her brows and look at Avianna stopping putting a coffee bean in coffee maker.

"Who?"

"I don't know, but their table is in there.." She pointed at the couple sitting near the window. Mui Hue sighed as she saw the guy lifted a menu to cover his face.

"What does they want?"

"Nothing. I just notice the guy keeps on looking at you while I'm asking what are their order." Mui Hue nodded and take a glance at the couple before looking at Avianna again.

"I'll make their orders and I'll give it to them." Avianna nodded. "Here, serve this to table 4 and 6.." Avianna nodded again and put the paper in front of Mui Hue. She continues what she's doing and ignores what Avianna said.

"Excuse me..?" Someone said interrupting Mui Hue by doing her works again.

"Yes?" Mui Hue asks in with a wide smile in her smile. "How can I help you?" She approaches her counter.

"Can I order espresso?" Mui Hue's nodded and type in the screen and received money from that guy and their hands brush from each other..

"Your coffee will come for a minute, sir. May I know your name so I can call you when your order is done, sir?" She gives her best to give the guy a smile when she already notices the guy keeps on touching her hand.

"Darren." He smiles too. She gulps and pulled her hand from that guy and writes his name on the pad.

"Okay, sir Darren.. You can take a sit while I'm making your order.." He nodded and went in the chair near the counter. Mui Hue gulped in uncomfortable and disgusted plastered on her face while doing the orders.

"Avianna?" Mui Hue called. Avianna went to her after collecting the customers' order and put it in front of Mui Hue. "This espresso is for Mr. Darren.." She slide the tray to the counter and went back to the coffeemaker to make other orders.

"Uhmm, Mui Hue..?" Avianna called, Mui Hue hummed in response. "Before sir Darren, you have an order a two frappe for that couple, or guy looking at you a while ago.."

"Ghad! I forgot, Okay.. I'll do it right away.." She said and Avianna nodded and went to her own counter to entertain customer and collect their orders.

"I'm sorry for delay of serving your orders---" Mui Hue stop talking when she saw Mei Xing their with her serious and cold expression. She darted to the guy who's still holding a menu, and it's obvious that he's not reading the menu, more like he's finding from someone.

And in just one stare.. She knew who it was.. Zhang Yong.. She snarls and take a deep breath before putting the two glasses on the table between them. "Thanks for ordering and enjoy your drinks." She gives Mei Xing a fake-sweet smile before bowing and leave with a tray on her hand.

Someone raised their hand, which means there's a customer who needs something. She tried her best to put on a genuine smile after seeing Zhang Yong and Mei Xing. "Yes, sir.. How may I help you?"

"Can I get a menu?" The middle age man asks. Mui Hue nodded politely.

"Yes, sir.. What a minute.." She went to the front door where the front desk receptionist is. "Can I get a menu?" He nodded and handed Mui Hue a menu. Mui Hue walking-run went to the middle age man and handed him the menu and bowed.

"If you're ready to order, Just call us.. We're be in counter.." The middle man aged and give a sweet smile to Mui Hue, who's doing well in her job. Mui Hue went to the counter. "Please, proceed to this counter.." She ordered to the people who's lining up in Avianna's counter.

In the coffee shop where Mui Hue's job is, always like there's a promo and free or a celebrity stays in the shop as there's a lot of customer coming every single second and they don't have their proper break since they're the only workers there, since Mrs. Ching is very choosy and if you're not very worth to that job then you're fired.

"Are you sure you don't want me to accompany you to your apartment?" Mui Hue assured Avianna. It's time to go home and they're walking in front of the shop, which is a parking lot. Her co-worker nodded.

"Stop being nice too much, Sometimes other people don't worth your kindness.. Be bold and serious sometimes.." She suddenly advice. Mui Hue got shocked and confused but still nodded and accepts her advice thought she already knows about it, she's just looking for time to own what she really own.

"Noted, Ms. Avianna.." She said, playfully, and they both laugh.

"I'm going now, I already called a taxi.. Drive safely.." Mui Hue nodded and return the kindness and told her co-worker to text her when she get home and she nodded. They both bid their goodbyes and Mui Hue watch Avianna's taxi drove away and slowly disappearing from her sight.

She let a heavy sigh and massage her temple as her head gets hurt. "Aisshh, why did you start again?" She asks to herself and took her car keys to her bag and alarm the car to open as she went closer to the car. She stretches her body before opening the car door.

Before she could go inside her door. Someone holds her wrist and harshly turns her to them. "Excuse me?" Mui Hue asks as she spins around and her head hurts more because of that. She looked straight at that person who spins her around. It's no other than her best enemy, best friend.

Mei Xing..

"What do you want, Ms.? Our coffee shop is closed now, You're not a VIP guest to make me open the coffee shop again just to make you a coffee, and it's nighttime now, It's impossible for you to drink coffee.." Mei Xing looks at the other side of Mui Hue and sneered.

"Can you leave me and Zhang Yong, alone? You're ruining our moments.." Mui Hue chuckled, unbelievable. She does nothing to ruin their moments, it's them who ruined her afternoon.

"What did I do?" She asks, not knowing what she did wrong. She's innocent. She rolled her eyes and cross her hands over her chest.

"Stop being innocent here, Mui Hue.. Zhang Yong is my boyfriend.. That's all.. I just want to let you know that he loves me, only me... I can win this game, Mrs. Ching built.." She assured makes Mui Hue chuckled. Her aura changed, from being an innocent girl to the bad girl Mie Xing asks for. She's shock at how Mui Hue changed her face's expression that fast but she recovered fast and she smirked.

"Don't look down at me, Mei Xing.. I only became kind to you once, but not twice.. I can't promise because I can't keep my own words, but for the person I love and I longed for so many years because of you, I'll always keeping my promise.." Mui Hue is the one who's smirking now. "I'm a competitive person, if you think me as your competitor then me too.." She smirks again, "I'll give you time to enjoy being around him, if time comes, I'll own him again.." She said before she went inside her car and slam the door.

She hissed, and tears formed in her eyes as she starts the engine. She has a mood swing and every second she's changing her emotions, expression. And she hates the fact of it. She really hoped Zhang Yong will forgive her after all she has done but she really does nothing but she left him saying nothing. And.. She's pretending not to know Zhang Yong even thought he already knows her. They found each other already and they can start a new story but she can't as someone is still watching her movement, their movement.

But this time, she wants to own Zhang Yong. She can't wait any longer. She was longed for Zhang Yong's love and comforts. They wasted many times and now they met again, it's time to fight for Mui Hue's love for him.

It took her 20 minutes to encourage herself to fight her love for Zhang Yong. Even though she knew he doesn't feel the same way as her.

While she's driving her phone rang. Her vision getting blur since she's still having a headache. She snaked her hands to take her phone out of her bag on the passenger seat. She knew that is not right for driving so she stop her car at the roadside and took her phone.

"Yes, mother?" She answered. Yes, it was Mrs. Ching. It's been an hour since Mui Hue leave Ching���s house and Mrs. Ching already misses her.

"I just want to ask you, did you ask Zhang Yong out already?" She gulped and remember what just happened a while ago. She already encourages herself to fight her love for him and she already assured Mei Xing that she will win..

"I'm still planning what will I do when we go out, Mother. Maybe it will take me a day to figure out and list what I have to do.." Hearing her words made Mrs. Ching cheered for her.

"I already know who will win his heart.." She giggles. Mui Hue massage her temple again and take a deep sigh and closed her eyes. "Are you okay? Why are you sighing so deeply? Did something happen?" She shook her head as if Mrs. Ching can see her.

"I'm fine, Mother.. It's just that.. I have a headache and I'm chilling." She said and Mrs. Ching became worried.

"Where are you? Let me know.."

"Near my apartment, mother.." She opens her closed eyes as someone is knocking in her car window. She looks at the someone just to see her first love and childhood friend, Zhang Yong. She wipes down her window and slightly pushes the phone away from her ear; shocked.

"W-what are you d-doing here?" She asks; totally shocked.

"Yayy! Go son!! I love you!" Mrs. Ching cheered and Mui Hue heard it. She looks at her phone then to Zhang Yong, who's looking at her; blankly.

"Of course, Mom asks me to accompany you to the house.." He retorted, Mui Hue's got confused at the way he talks to her.

"No, No.. I'm fine.. I can drive to my apartment." She refuses. She got shocked at what happened next. He snakes his hand to the lock of the car door and open the car door.

"If you're hating me, at least think of yourself." He said and pulled her out of her car and she hopped off her car, still holding the phone. He bends down to take her bag and car key.

"I don't hate you, I just-- "He didn't let her finish her sentence and just pulled her to his car and open the backseat door. "I told you already-- "He looks at her with her icy gaze make Mui Hue to sigh and nodded before getting her bag from his grip and hopped in.

She doesn't expect Mei Xing inside his car. Her system filled with shocked. Mei Xing sigh and looks outside the window while crossing her arms over her chest. Someone throws a lot of swords in her heart at the time she saw Mei Xing, she's already in the game, maybe. "Where do you want to eat?" Zhang Yong asks. Mui Hue didn't answer because she thought, He asks Mei Xing. "Mui Hue..?" He called, snapping Mui Hue from her thoughts.

"Did you just called me?"

"I ask you, where do you want to eat?"

"I'm still full.."

"You sure?"

"Stop worrying for me," She said then lowered her gaze.

"People who's beside you, worried for you, and you're not worried at yourself, at all?"

"It's not like that.. I'm really not like on eating at night." Zhang Yong eyes lighten up like she just knew something from Mui Hue.

"Then, I'll drop you off at house.." Her brows furrowed.

"Only me? Where will you go after this?" She asks like they both knew each other very well but the truth is many things happened to them when they are far from each other.

"I'll accompany Mei Xing to her apartment." Mui Hue nodded, ending their conversation. She let a sigh; closing her eyes and lean her head to the window to rest her head for a minute. She didn't know that she fell asleep.
