1 Just like before

Chapter 1

There's a lot of people coming at the coffee shop. Mui Hue let a heavy sigh after finishing to serve almost 20 people. "Gosh, my feet hurts.." Her co-worker said, Mui Hue nodded, agreeing with her. "Can we take a break first?" Mui Hue shook her head.

"Mrs. Ching will scold us if we do.."

"But we've almost serve 100 people in the morning.."

"That's how the job works.." Her co-worker groan and massage her toes while Mui Hue wiping her sweat. Her phone vibrates from her aprons pocket which make her jump in surprise. "Yes?" She put her phone in her ear but she put it away too as she heard a loud shout.

"Than god you answer, Meow Moew.." Her boss' said in a loud voice. Mui Hue sigh and put the phone to her ear.

"Good afternoon, Mrs. Ching." Mui Hue said.

"How many time do I have to tell you that you can call me Mother, Mommy, right?" The excitement in her voice faded.

"G-good after noon, Mother.." She said again, stuttering.

"My ghad! You said it! My ears had been blessed today.." She laugh and Mui Hue laugh too in her boss' dumbness.. "By the way, Moew Moew, can you come at my house this lunch time? I have something to tell you.. You should come alone.." Mui Hue look at her co-worker, entertaining some customer with her wide smile.

"But, Mrs--" Mrs. Ching clears her throat and Mui Hue chuckled, "But mother, Avianna will be alone here, we don't have enough barista and server.."

"I already called someone and she will be there," She assured Mui Hue will come at her house no matter what. Mui Hue sighed not wanting to go t her house since she will saw that guy again.

"Okay, M-Mother.. I'll be there.." With that, Mrs. Ching said okay and hung up the phone. Avianna serve the coffee to the customer, the customer leave so Mui Hue went to her to say something.

"Anna, I'll be gone for a minute or maybe an hour." Avianna brows furrowed. "Mrs. Ching asked me to come to her house, I don't know what will she order to me." Her co-worker nodded.

"But--"

"Mrs. Ching called someone and she will be here.." Avianna nodded, Mui Hue went to the changing room and change her clothes to her formal clothes and her slim bag that her mother gives.

Before she could push the doorbell someone opened the gate and let her in. She's shocked but still went inside and smile at the maid who open the door. She bowed to the bodyguards and maid she will see on the way inside the house and to the dinning area.

She saw a color brown long table and Mrs. Ching is sitting at the end of the table while that guys she hated and loves the most is in the other side Mrs. Chin, sitting while looking at the plate in front of him. He seems like in a deep thought.

As Mrs. Ching saw Mui Hue, she stand up from her sit and run to her. Mui Hue is awkward, accepting, Mrs. Ching's hug every time. "Oww, I missed you.." Mrs. Ching said and pinch Mui Hue's cheeks. She chuckled and Mrs. Ching lead her to the chair in front of the guy.

"So, Moew Moew.. How's the coffee shop doing?" She asked. Mui Hue sigh, Mrs. Ching wants her some time to report about how's the shop going.

"It doing well, Mother.. Sometimes there's a lot of people sometimes there's only 5 to 20.."

"It's okay, at least we have customer.." She chuckled, The maids start to places the food in the table while they are talking about business.

"You, Zhang Yong, how's your business doing?" Mui Hue's brows lifted while helping the maids to put the food in the table.

'So he have his own business?' She thought.

"It's doing good too.. There's a lot off appointment overseas and many project.." He retorted.

"Then, you should recruit a secretary now, if you're having a hard time.."

"Having a secretary is annoying, they like t seduce me which I don't like.."

"Oww, Then I will find someone who don't know how to seduce or flirt.." Her mom brows played up and down.

"It's useless mom, every girl are the same.. I only want Moew Moew.." Mui Hue eyes shut open wide.

'Did he just call my nickname? or she's just hearing something that's not true.' His looking at Mui Hue's reaction while saying that. He's having a feeling, Mui Hue is Moew Moew since her mom called her Moew Moew on the phone and her face is looks the same with his childhood friend back then.

She cleared her throat and drink some water and lowered her gaze.

"Moew Moew is on her way here.." Mui Hue's heart hurt after hearing her boss' words.

'So, someone is having a name with the same as mine..?' She thought and feels her eyelid getting heavy, means she's very sad.

"Good afternoon, Auntie!!" The loud voice filled the room and Mui Hue jumped a bit since she doesn't expected it. Mrs. Ching stand up and welcome the girl with a different strength as she welcomed Mui Hue, Mrs. Ching lead the girl and make her sit beside Mui Hue.

"Oww, Mui Hue.. Long time no see, how are you?" Mui Hue looks at her and get shocked. Her best enemy, Mei Xing, AKA Meow Meow. She shifted to look at Zhang Yong, who's looking deeply at her. She giggles. "Hi, Zhang Yong." She said and pushed the strand of her hair to the back of her ear which disguised Mui Hue.

'Moew Moew is not like that idiot.' She thought and look at the plate in front of her to calm herself from confronting Mei Xing. How could she not remembering her so-called bestfriend tried to copy and adapted her nickname. Mui Hue doesn't like the fact someone is copying her but she still allow her.

They started eating, while eating only Mrs. Ching's giggle can be heard and Mei Xing talking to Zhang Yong but didn't get any answer from him. Mui Hue is eating peacefully and quite.

"So, we're complete now.. I'll be directing to the point.." She intertwined her hands and lean to the table, looking at the three of them. "Mei Xing is Zhang Yong's girlfriend," His mom said which caught her off guard. He have relationship with Mei Xing yet he doesn't stand up to give her a hug or kiss in the cheeks?

"What is the meaning of this, mother?" Zhang Yong ask in a cold tone. Mrs. Ching give him a look and look at Mei Xing and Mui Hue who's looking at her in confused.

"I'm getting older and I don't know when will I take my last breath.." Zhang Yong let a bored sigh and look at the ceiling not wanting to hear anything from his mother. "Sit up, Zhang Yong." His mother said, He ignore her but fix the way he sits when he doesn't hear his mother say something and he knows that she's heating up.

"Okay, just like I said.. I don't know when will I take my last breath an before that could happened, I what to see Zhang Yong standing in the altar while receiving the love of his life's hand.." She said and sigh.

"I called you both because, you, Mei Xing is Zhang Yong's girlfriend. And you, Mui Hue, I called you because I like you to be my daughter, I want you to Zhang Yong." Mui Hue shook her head. "I know, Zhang Yong is waiting for someone.. I know he doesn't truly love Mei Xing, he still have his heart stone.."

"I will give you guys a month to win his heart and get his soft heart back and colored it with red again. I want you guys to get his wide smile and change his perspective to other girls.."

"I'm sorry Mrs--- Mother but.. I can't I'm busy working at the coffee shop and.. I don't have time to do that.. I will lose too, I'm a heartless who can't feel love too, Mother.." She admitted, Mei Xing hissed, pissed.

"Mui Hue, how can you said that you will lose without trying it?" She asked. Before Mui Hue could answer, Mrs. Ching continue talking. "If ever who get the old Zhang Yong, She will be his wife and his secretary.." Zhang Yong hissed and stand up, everyone eyes on him.

"If that's all, then I'm leaving.." He said and take his suit, Mei Xing stands up too.

"Hep hep hep.. I'm not done yet." His mother said, Zhang Yong snarls then look at his mother while furrowing his brows. "Can you escort Mui Hue to the shop?" He looks at Mui Hue who's looking at Mrs. Ching. Before he could say something, Mui Hue said.

"No, I'm fine, Mother.. I already got my car this morning.." Mui Hue said while waving her both arms. Mrs. Ching looks disappointment and let a heavy sigh.

"Fine then, drive safely.." Mui Hue nodded and stand up. "Hep!" The three of them look at Mrs. Ching. "I'm calling for Mui Hue." She chuckled while looking at Mei Xing. Her gaze drifted to Mui Hue and smile widely. She take something from her pocket and wipe it.

Mui Hue is shocked at what she just saw. "This is for you, I'm already announcing that you're the new manager in the coffee shop." She handed the metal name tag to Mui Hue.

"My ghad! Thank you, Mrs-- Mother.." She chuckled and get the metal name tag.

"You're welcome.." She said, she sign Mui Hue to sit and whisper something to her. "You should be the first who will win Zhang Yong's heart okay?" She clear her throat.

"I don't think so, Mother.. I became a manager now and my works filled times 2 than before.. I don't think I can see him in my tight schedule and one month is not enough for me, what if Mei Xing call Zhang Yong to the day I plan to met him? I'm sure, He will choose to be with her since Mei Xing is his girlfriend."

Mrs. Ching smiles and chuckled. "No, You're misunderstanding it. I will help you to your work, you have to think what will you do if you got the chance to go out with him.." She chuckled again.

'Why all of my reasoning have a solution to her?' She thought.

"Okay, Mother.. I'll keep going now, Avianna must full a 100 bucket with her sweat and many bandage at her toes, knees and arms.." She joked, Mrs. Ching chuckled at her.

"Who would've thought you're a heartless young lady when you know how to make me laugh?" Mui Hue smile and bowed, she turn around just to see Zhang Yong still standing at the border of living room and dinning area. Her brows lifted.

"Oww, my son.. Are you going to escort her?' Her mom joked. He quickly shook his head and went to Mui Hue and dragged her outside the house and she is more shocked than before and Mrs. Ching just chuckled and cheered for them.

"Hey..!?" Mui Hue tried to free her hands from him but he continue to drag her. He stop and free her hand when they arrives at the lawn outside the house. "What's you're problem?" She asked while looking at touching her pulse with a red mark wince he held her arms tight.

"I'm sorry.." She stopped at what she was doing and look at him. She lifted her brows. "Can you tell me about you more?" She gulped.

"I'm sorry but let me excuse, I'm late for my job." She was about to passed him but he quickly hold her hand. "I don't have to tell about me to you.. We're strangers.." She said that makes his heart hurts, that is the first time ever he felt that pain again after a years.

"Don't you know how much I waited for you and I thought I will hear a sorry from you but all I got is that? We're strangers? Seriously?" His eyes filled with tears that makes her feel guilty. "I though you have a bigger reason that's why you left. I want to know why you left me."

"You mistaken me with someone else, Mr. Zhang Yong." He tighten his grip to Mui Hue's arms.

"I'm not. I can feel you, Moew Moew.. I can feel you.." She wanted to burst out and hug him but what can she do?

"You should got to your girlfriend now, Mr. Zhang Yong.. She's waiting for you."

"Let her wait." He's starting to get in her nerves. She takes her hand away from his grip, aggresively.

"Let me just warned you, Mr. Zhang Yong... Don't make her wait. She will lose her patience and that time you given her will make her think to move on, much worse, she'll look for someone. By the time she's already happy with someone, you will chase her."

"Don't make me wait. I might lost my patience and the time you given me will make me think to move on and look for someone." Mui Hue is shocked at his comeback. She lowered her gaze.

"But if she truly loves you, she will wait and will always love you even if it's hurt."

"I can't wait any longer. I don't want to waste this time for nothing. I already found you."

"I'm not that person, Mr. Zhang Yong, I'm just explaining something.." She said and run away from him. Just like before she doesn't say anything. She just leave him alone without knowing anything.

His heart filled with hurt and loathed. How can she be this selfish? He thought she's a good friend. But why..

"I'll make you see how this new Zhang Yong true colors is, Moew Moew. You changed, I changed too.." He wiped his tears and went to his car and went inside.
