2 Secret?

"Please don't hurt me- I've been kicked out of my dad's house and I just found this house open and there was a rent sign so I decided to come in and check it out!" I ranted on and on, but the tall one didn't really seem mad at all.

He reached out to one of the bowls and handed it to me. "How about we sit down and you can tell me what's going on, okay?"

I sensed a feeling of comfort when he said that, but for some reason a feeling of sadness shot my heart. That was... His vibe... "Thank you..." I thanked him and started to eat. He started walking off and I followed him. We sat on his carpet floor and I placed my bowl on the table that was in the middle of the carpet.

"My name is Daren. I live here with... My little sisters. Lena and Sasha."

Sasha and Lena both smiled at me. As I finished my food. I was ready to talk.

I told him everything about my situation. It's not like he could help me or anything. I can't just stay in his house. He barely knows who I am...

"Listen... I don't know if I can let you stay here... It isn't-" Daren paused.

I looked confused and questioned the pause. "Isn't...? Why did you stop?" I asked.

Daren quickly shook his head to pull himself back together. "Oh never mind that... Maybe I could help you find a house. Would that be good?" Daren asked.

My answer was obviously going to be yes. So I said yes. Duh. "Yes! That'll be amazing! Thanks so much dude!!" I got up to go in for a hug, but the weirdest thing happened. Daren pushed me away really quick. The force was strong enough to knock me off my feet. I landed butt first on the carpet floor.

"Ouch! Why did you do that?!" I was angry. Even if this was carpet my butt still hurt a lot.

Daren rose from the floor. "I'm sorry that's... That's not a good idea-" Daren looked insecure. Was he hiding something? Or is he just awkward like that...?

"Come on man... Just... One... HUG!" I jumped straight to Daren and wrapped my arms around him tightly to give him that powerful thankful hug... But then he disappeared!!! Smoked filled the area and Daren was just gone. I looked at Sasha and Lena, they were both covering their mouths in shock.

As the smoke cleared up, I looked around and I found a dog. It seemed very furious, but it was so adorable! I didn't know where it came from though...

"Where's Daren?!" I yelled in confusion.

Lena pointed at the dog.

There was a moment of silence...

"Wait- So you're telling me that... That dog... IS DAREN?!?!" As I was yelling the dog jumped on me and started barking.

A few moments later the dog started to glow and Daren was back. His clothes were on already and he was just over me as I was lying on the ground.

"...Why... You know the secret... I can't possibly let you go now!!! Listen- I'll let you live here for as long as you want. Only if you promise you'll never tell anyone about this secret!" Daren was panicking.

I didn't know what on earth happened, but if I get to stay at a place for not telling anyone some words? Of course I would accept it!! "Deal! I promise I won't tell anyone."

"Oh boy...." Sasha said.
