1 Separation

"What do you want to be in future, you little vamps?" An elderly vampire, who looked as he if he was still in his twenties questioned a group of little vamps.

"I want to be a Night Walker!" Heddy, one of the bold little vamps answered first.

"Nice, us vampires are noble creatures! We are born to win big in life! A Night Walker isn't bad!" The middle aged vampire nodded. He was the head of this village and was already 200 years old.

Recently, his village that had not birthed any new baby vamps in a long time suddenly gave birth to five little babies on the same day five years back.

These five were the only future generation of the village, so the village head made sure that they were taught well. In fact, even he, someone who was extremely busy, took a break from work to teach these five kids.

"I want to be a Bat Emperor!" Hedey, another bold little vamp spoke out next.

"I want to be a Blood Controller!" Hedwy muttered under his breath. Blood Controller wasn't a popular occupation after all.

"I want to be a Diamond Vampire!" Hedzy thought for a while and replied.

"Oh! A Diamond Vampire?!" The village head was taken aback. He scanned Hedzy's face and found that he genuinely wanted to become a Diamond Vampire.

He nodded outwardly, while screaming inside about how Hedzy was not taking the Diamond Vampire seriously. After all, this profession wasn't the most powerful vampire profession without a cause.

It was almost impossible for one to become a Diamond Vampire without the help from another Diamond Vampire. Moreover, the vampire kingdom their village was under does not even have one such entity!

"What about you, Hedry?" The village head turned to the last of the five kids.

"Me, I just want to suppress humans!" Hedry answered in a lovable voice.

"Hmm! That's a nice goal too. We vampires are Nobel creatures. All other races are placed under our foot!" The village head was most satisfied with Hedry, whose goals aligned with normal vamps.

As for, Night Walker, Bat Emperor, Blood Controller, and Diamond Vampire, those were legendary vampire occupations! Village residents such as them can only look up to such occupations.

But the village head wasn't a spoil sport. He encouraged all of them. He thought they would understand the world as they grow up and change their goals!

15 years later.

Looking at the five kids that turned twenty, the village head was filled with emotions.

These kids, though lacked age, did not lack determination. Even after 15 years, they persisted on their initial goals of achieving their dreams.

"Sigh! Today is your 20th birthday! Which means, you are officially adults now. The village would not stop you if you wish to leave!" The village head hid his emotions and put on a respectful attire as he declared that they could leave the village.

The five kids, who had now grown into handsome vamps, did not get emotional, but they were grateful towards the village that took care of them until now.

After expressing their consent to leave the village, they returned to their houses to pack up for the upcoming journey.

Hedry, who wished nothing more than being able to suppress humans, returned to his house after meeting the village head.

A drop-dead gorgeous entered his vision as he stepped into his house. The gorgeous vampire was his aunt, Arkne, who was 21 years old this year. Unlike Hedry, she had chosen to remain in the village even after becoming an adult last year.

"Are you going to abandon me, just like my sister?" Arkne, his gorgeous aunt questioned in a small tone, her voice as soft as a feather.

"Yeah!" Hedry did not care about his aunt's emotions as he ruthlessly replied. His mind was filled with humans! Humans that he was going to oppress and suppress and dominate!

It took Hedry hardly two minutes to pack everything as Vampires barley needed much to survive.

But as he was about to step out of the house, he paused for a second, turned around towards his beautifully aunt, and looked at her with his puppy like eyes.

"Hehe!" Arkne could not help but laugh seeing the expression on his face. She took some tubes that she had prepared before and tossed them towards Hedry, who caught them effortlessly.

"Arkne knows me best!" Hedry smiled, which was rare as most of the time his mind was filled with what he had to do to 'Dominate' humans!

These few tubes that Arkne gave him contained her blood. Vampires needed blood to sustain their metabolism, and Hedry was no different!

But unlike other vampires, Hedry could only consume Arkne's blood, while most other vampires were able to consume human blood! Now that Hedry was leaving home, he had to store supplies of Arkne's blood to sustain himself.

If he was frugal with the consumption, these few tubes of blood could easily let Hedry's body function for another two years!

This also meant Hedry had to return two years later if he didn't want to enter the Chamber Of Darkness, a place that was similar to Hell, but exclusive to Vampires.

"Till later, brothers!" Heddy raised his hand in air, while the other four followed. Their raised hands soon made a circle.

The five little vamps were at the border of their vampire kingdom, but they had to separate in five different directions to achieve their goals.

Heddy, who wanted to be a Night Walker had to cross five vampire kingdoms and three humans kingdoms to the east to learn more about this legendary occupation!

Hedey, who wanted to be a Bat Emperor, had it even more tough as he had to find the elusive Roaming Sky Island.

Hedwy, who wanted to be a Blood Controller had to travel all the way south to the Dangerous Dark Forest.

As for Hedzy, he had no particular destination. He just chose to roam all over the world while trying to break through to the Diamond Vampire.

Hedry, who had the lowest goal of the five, and wanted to suppress humans had it easy as a human kingdom bordered their vampire kingdom. He just had to take a few steps forward and he would reach his goal.

"Till later, brothers!" The other four repeated, full of emotions.

But separation was inevitable and Heddy was the first to leave eastwards.

Hedey and Hedwy left next.

"What do you want to do? Want to follow me to the human kingdom?" Seeing that Hedzy was still behind, Hedry advised.

"Nah! I have my own path!" Hedzy shook his head with a smile. He chose the north that had the maximum number of vampire kingdoms and soon disappeared into the norther horizon!

Hedry was left alone at the border. His eyes soon drifted towards the snow filled skies of the human kingdom. He muttered under his breath.

"It's time!"
