2 Chapter 1: Frostbite University

"Kainah, join us here, will be eating now." Aunt asks me, "Sorry aunt I need to finish this, you guys eat first okay?" I need to finish this first the deadline is tomorrow. "Okay we will save some for you."

Kainah Laine Lopez, 17 years old, and I lived with my aunt which is a Vampire, yes my Aunt is a Vampire but his husband is human like me, in the year 2026 the Human and Vampires agreed to have a peaceful life. And right now year 6507. And still, Humans and Vampires live a peaceful life.

"Hey? Laine, you have done with the School Papers?"

"Don't SCARY ME WITH YOUR AUSPEX!" I yelled in my mind, meet my Childhood friend, Sam, his potential is Telepathy and enhancement of the mind, see He even has cooler potential that I have.

"So, are you done with the school paper?" HE asked.

"Still on it why? Did you finish yours?" I asked back.

"Yep so do you need any help? I can help you with that."

"No need I only have 1 more to fill up and I'm done, by the way, wake me up tomorrow at the usual time."

"Okay, okay"

I need to finish this now, so I can eat and sleep early I have some important things to do.

"Hey, Princess wakes up. HEY PRINCESS WAKE UP!!!"

I automatically got up, "Don't call me princess Sammy."

"TCH, just wake up already, I'm on my way to your house."

He said, I get up to my bed and go to the bathroom and take a shower. "Kainah! Sam is here!"

"Okay aunt just let him in." I shouted back.

After taking a bath I immediately go to my closet and wear my casual attire. This day will be my lucky day, hoping that I and Sam would be qualified in Frostbite University. Yep, the paper works that I and Sam preparing yesterday is the papers for Entering the Frostbite University, the most and 2nd well-known University.

Someone knocks on my door, "Hey Princess you have done wearing your pink gown." He teased me, and he knew that I will be annoyed calling me princess. "Sammy, please wait okay? Your princess is not done yet."

But still, I won by calling him Sammy, he never what to be called Sammy, because it's so girly. As I finish wearing my clothes I opened the door and saw Sam, seating and playing with his phone.

"You sure you going to wear that?" I ask him because he's wearing her father's Emblem, the Emblem of the Frostbite Supreme Students, while me wearing my father's Emblem of Student Conceal Leader. If you are wondering why we wanted to be at Frostbite University because my Father graduated there same Sam's Dad that's why I knew him from like we were 5.

"You guys ready?" aunt asks as, "Sam you always have your Father's look, and you Laine, You always have the eyes and potential of your Father. " Aunt said with teary eyes. "You surely Grow up fast." She hugs on and leads us the way to the doorway. "Good luck," she said.

"We got this, I'm sure we both will pass the trail." I said.

"One Last Hug," she said, "And you Sam, keep an on her okay? I know you have your mother's Potential but." aunt look at me. "Don't try to use your potential." She warned me.

"Don't worry aunty," Sam said.

"You must go now, you only have 30 minutes 12 seconds," she told us, aunts potential is detecting time. It's not a good potential but it's good for work.

"Don't worry will make it in time aunt," Sam said.

We started walking straight to the train station. As we walk we saw a lot of students that are wearing the badge of their family, "Let's go," Sam said, and we to the ticketing station to buy the tickets.

"Two Tickets to frostbite University." Sam said, as we look at the person who will give us the ticket he is using his potential to make tickets he will just close his eyes and then a card will pop up to his palm.

"What a cool potential if he applied at the magazine work, he will be so useful." a boy talked to me.

Who is he? Is he talking to me?

"The name is Darien. And you are?" he asked me, so he is talking really talking to me.

"Kainah." I said.

"So your Dad is the Frostbite Student Conceal Leader? I'm assuming you have the potential of your dad?" He said. I didn't talk to him, I just look at him.

"Laine who is this man?" Sam asked me.

"I thought your name is Kainah?" He asked with a confused face.

"Laine is my second name," I said and look at Sam. "His name is Darien, and I didn't know him, he just spoke about the potential of the man who is giving as the tickets."

"You guys are in a relationship?" he asked out of the blue. "No we're not," I said.

"Oh I see. Can I join you? Ill applying in frostbite too, here look at my Emblem."

He didn't wear the badge, it's the Emblem of Frostbite Vice Supreme Student. And then Sam immediately covered his badge so that Darren won't see it. So I help him hide and by thinking that the Emblem of Sam is Invisible. As you can see my Potential is concealing, I can conceal myself or any object I think of it.

"Your Sam Right? What's your badge?" he asked 'It's a success, I said it in my mind. "Just an ordinary student?" he asked again.

And Sam just agreed by moving his head.

As you can see Frostbite has these emblems, these Emblems are used by your father to their father, and so on, having this Emblem will give you merit, but you must take the Trail exam."

As you can see the highest rank of the badge is the Frostbite Supreme Student Emblem, the student who is wearing this now has the privilege to be the next Supreme Student of Frostbite. Followed by the Vice supreme student, Secretary Supreme student.

And second is the Frostbite Conceal Leader which is I'm wearing, my dad is the last Conceal leader and followed by the Frostbite Animalism. And lastly is the Frostbite Student Emblem.

"All Students of Frostbite please Fall in line so you can enter the bus peacefully!"
