Chapter 58: Princess Prey

Luc POV

He braced his hands against the walls of the restaurant, fittingly illuminated in crimson light. Blocking his prey's exit with his henchman hemming her in from the back, he had it made.

Let Ariana, doomed Princess of Trenholm, wear her bridal gown. As far as Luc was concerned, she could be sacrificed in the dress, with his rogue brother watching in helpless rage. 

"You're coming with me," Luc murmured. "Or everyone in this restaurant dies. All except my dear brother and your weak human family. I'm keeping them alive for the main event. You've made us wait, my dear, and that's not in our agreement."

"Go to h*ll."

"Oooh, so feisty all of a sudden, when just days before, you knelt like a dog at my brother's feet." He cupped her chin. "Unfortunately, he clearly doesn't know how to train his pets."

She snapped her jaws, "He does. He taught me to attack you."
