3 Chapter 2: Training To Become Stronger

Ren woke me up at 4am as he said and started to give me my instructions for this training

"Good morning Ren" I greeted him

"Good Morning Ari, This Is an exercise you will do daily, I have hidden a scroll some were on the mountain you are to find it and bring it here all while avoiding The beast wondering the mountain and the traps that I have set throughout the mountain, You may begin, good luck, I will be watching you" He Instructed

I ran into the forest and tried to track where he hid the scroll first I tried to trace his scent but it was hard to trace and was everywhere I then tried to find footprints but found none as expected of a ninja

'I house I just have to do it the old fashion way' I thought to myself

~6 hours later~

I had a few close calls that being Goblins, Orcs and the many traps but I found the scroll and brought it back so mission success

"Ren! I found It!" I said handing him the scroll

"Good job Ari, I will teach you some stealth techniques tomorrow, but now we will start with sword training," he said while patting my head

"Yay!" I shouted with excitement

"I found some swords in the temple armory, so we will be using those," he said retrieving the swords

"First I will teach you the proper way to hold a sword and how to swing it, you will then practice it for 5 hours un till dinner is ready," He Instructed

"Ok, Let begin," I responded

~5 painful hours later~

"Ari dinners ready!" Ren announced

"Yay! I'm starving!" I said along with an audible agree meant from my stomach

"You did well today Ari" Ren Complimented

"Thank you Ren" I accepted the compliment

it was the same as last time except with a side of blood

"I have determined that beast blood is safe to consume, altho the taste leaves much to be desired I read that it would be unhealthy for a vampire to continue without consuming blood for long periods of time from The temple Liberty," Ren explained

*Drink*

"blaa! your right it doesn't taste very good at all. Do we have to drink this?" I asked slightly discussed

"Now don't be picky, you can't go too long without consuming blood. In fact, we don't really need to consume anything but blood, but since we are still getting accustomed to being vampires I thought it best to still eat normal food until we are used to consuming blood" He lectured

"Ok, I get it already. So what are we doing next" I asked

"I think it will be for the best, that you go to the temple library and study up on being a vampire" He suggested

"Ok but I feel I should tell you that no one ever taught how to read and write" I admitted

"Then I guess I will have to teach you how and I might as well teach you how to act like a proper lady as well," He said volunteered himself to teach me

"Ok, but how do you know how to be a proper lady Ren?" I asked curiously

"As a ninja, we must know a wide variety of things to properly fulfill our missions, so ninja are thoroughly trained to be able to undertake any mission including disguising ourselves and acting the part" He explained

"Ok, then let's begin, I've always wanted to be able to read a book," I said excitedly

"Good then let's make you into a proper princess, you are a vampire princess after all," He said

The rest of the year was spent in evasion/stealth/tracking training, sword training, learning to be a proper ruler of a race, and a little magic training.

~1 year later~

"It has been one year since the start of your training and I believe I have taught you all that I can," Ren said during dinner after training today

"Wow, it's been a year already," I said surprised as it hasn't felt like long since I started

"Yes, so what will we do now?" Ren asked

"Well our end goal should be to build a kingdom, So I would like you to search out and collect people that are both trustworthy and capable people and turn them into vampires and train them" I Instructed him

"What will you do then?" Ren asked

"I will go on an adventure, I want to see the world and all it has to offer," I answered

"Ok, but just be careful, you may have completed your training but there is always someone stronger in the world," Ren warned

"Ok, Ren I'll be careful, but before I leave I want to check and compare our stats," I respond

"Ok, I'm curious to how you've grown as well," He said

'I am not very high level but that's to be expected as my training over the last year was to avoid monsters instead of killing them that is why my Agility is so high and I found that I like using magic So I studied and practiced hard and raised my Int and Mag stats, I've also kept up with my sword training adding a little bow and scythe training in. I've learned Royal Etiquette and I learned some other skills like cooking, Equipment Maintenance, and medical Knowledge from Ren, not bad for a year of training without actively hunting monsters'

'Ren has leveled up a lot from hunting monsters and the occasional group of bandits that Intrude in our territory, He also did more intense versions of my training along with extra training so some of his stats are higher but my magic is higher level than his as he is not really big on magic, He also learned Noble Etiquette as he is going to be one of the leaders of the nation we are going to build. He has more AP to spend them me right now but he seems to be getting only 25 Ap per level as to me getting 30 AP per the level, as for why they are currently unspent right now, we agreed it would be better to hold off for now on distributing them to see where they would best be spent after training and Ren said that there are other ways to spend AP rather than just for increasing our Attributes'

"Ok, done well I will see you later bye," I said hugging him goodbye

"Ya, see you later," Ren said hugging me back

"Before you go take some of the gold we took from the bandits and slavers, your going to need it," He said handing me a bag of 100 gold coins and sending me off

"Ok, thank you, bye," I said running off to the sunset intending to travel at night because I'm a vampire
