17 Chapter 17: Secrets Revealed

Gisella could only watch as Ryre and the mysterious man left her alone in the gardens and disappeared through the overgrown bushes and hedges of the gardens. She thought for a moment to follow them, then stopped herself.

Ryre had been overcome by something she had never seen before. She could understand why he would become angry at hearing his brother say such heinous things about him, but the anger she saw grow in him was unbridled.

Her feet began moving of their own accord. The curiosity of why he became so angry was eating away at her more than her ability to stay still; to stay out of whatever it was that had happened just then. Because whatever caused Ryre to become so angry so quickly; she was going to find it out.

She was done with the lies and the secrets. If Ryre demanded her to trust him and not keep things from him then she had every right to demand the same from him.
